Service was great and the food was amazing! Got a grilled fish and salad takeaway. Packed so nicely and wow the fish was almost the best I've ever had from a take away fish and chip shop. Definitely recommend Johnnie's! And I'll be back 100%. 5 Stars Guys!

I got fish and chips ($10.90) plus ten calamaris ($11.90) . Fish was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Chips were cooked well. Calamari are fresh but slightly over cooked, overall very good and not too pricey.

I get some fresh seafood from here often. I tried their Salmon Burger and Calamari Burger. Burgers are tasty, their fresh seafood is very good but sometimes their staff pick up seafood with their bare hands, handle plastic bag without rinsing their hands and use keypads on EFTPOS machine. It bothers me a bit.

Corner local fish and chip shop that has a nice variety of fresh seafood on offer. Basic and good offerings. They also do cooked selection that seems very popular with the locals. They can be quite busy at dinner time.

The quality of food was dreadful on Mothers Day 8th May - very different to their usual standard. Is it under new ownership? Hugely disappointed...

ordered food from this place through menu log estimated time of delivery was given as 5 10 pm to 5 30 pm rang them at 5 40 pm they said order had left 10 to 15 minutes by 6 05 pm order still not arrived rang them back and was advised order was still at shop waiting for pick up ask manager why i was told it was on the way some hour an hour ago all he could say confusion at shop why not tell the truth first time and say waiting for driver when they knew 100 % it wasn't on its way hoping to not lose an order i suppose still asked me if i wanted the order that had been sitting there for around 45 minutes as i said to him its would be stone cold (i cant believe he would think to send hot chips, fish ,calamari seafood in general that had been sitting for 45 minutes disgusting customer service i would be very careful ordering anything from jonnies fish and chips as it seems they don't care about the quality and peoples health when serving food especially seafood not good at all guys

battered barramundi fish very dry and batter like cardboard,small serve of soggy chips

Got a family pack and ordered via ubereats. I asked for extra chips to replace the salad because who likes salad!? I was abit confused with the reviews here because I got HEAPS of chips and everyone is saying they didn’t get many? Must be because I ended up getting 2 medium servings (or maybe a large). The chips were really short though and I was a little disappointed as I like my chips long and potato-y. The fish was ok but the fish cocktails were pretty bad. Tasted like heaps of flour and no fish at all. Calamari rings were also pretty standard. Overall, ok fish and chips but definitely nothing memorable.

Still bloody miserable with the chip serving.Its a shame,they seem to think smaller portions will make them more money but will be there demise.Good food,small portion for price.

I noticed they lowered the prices on fish and chips and a couple of other cooked options not so long ago. At under $10 I still think it is pricey for what you get; a rather bland fish and a handful of chips.  Order a named fish and it is rather expensive compared to the size of serving. The fresh fish is a better option and most definitely preferrable to Woolworths across the street.

Fish was absolutely beautiful. I chose a grilled fish and it was cooked perfectly. It was so juicy and well seasoned. The portion size was really large. The only thing that was a let down for me was the portion of chips. I could of easily had double the amount. I feel like chips is the thing you should have heaps of and never have to question the amount.<br/><br/>It was a well priced meal all in all and enjoyable.

Nice not oily fish and chips. Good quality fish and light crispy batter... but... so scum on the chips. Like honestly, don't be scum. We pay for a product we want enough. There wasn't enough on each portion we got. Apart from this, everything was nice and tasty. Octopus wasn't tough. Prawns fresh and nice. Will return. And monitor the chip amount 😋
