Review Grill'd Leichhardt - Leichhardt

Inside of the restaurant is a little dark. Outside tables were sticky and were not spaced out properly resulted in chairs hitting each other. Couple of tables were dirty with crumbs on them despite the venue not being that busy. 40mjns later a staff begins to wipe buy simply brushes all the crumbs to the floor. I ordered 2 burgers, chips, water. Food was okay. Service is okay too. The whole place needs a deep clean.

First time I visited this store. Understand the place was busy, however when we finally received our burger, it was cold. Burgers are meant to be enjoyed hot. It’s like they may have been sitting at the counter until the fries were finished. Also the estimated time for the burger was 15-20mins delayed which I get, however can’t it be adjusted on the system. Wait staff were friendly and did the best they can given how busy it was. I have. Even to other Grill’d restaurants, so was able to compare. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Sauce for days! I couldn’t finish my burger.. what a shame, I only have myself to blame for this poor dinner choice...

Food is good but the service has been shocking lately. Super slow, the guy brought our chips after we had finished our burgers (what's the point in that!), and we asked for the heater to be turned on and he said yes, but forgot about it. Owners need to invest more time training staff as the last few times we've been has been really, really bad experience.

Seat yourself, friendly staff, good choice of indoor or outdoor. Was able to take the dogs and sit outside. Okay selection of beers. Ordered a Simon Says and a chilli chicken burger. Was able to substitute bacon for cheese which I was happy about. Also ordered a small HFC hot chicken bites serving. Nice chicken and sauce Is Louisiana style hot sauce. Service time was good considering how busy it was and it was fresh. The 3 chip sharing platter is the best to share between 2 people. A bit expensive but worth it. $65 for 2 people and a drink each. I do love how they give back to community with their token system!

I love coming here, even if it isn’t often. They are always fast, have great service and aren’t too busy. Only 4 stars as I think the online ordering service is a little outdated. All and all, amazing place, would go again.

GOOD customer service and table waiting. Food was tasty and as we'd ordered. Restaurant was, in my Humble opinion, the best Grill'd we'd dined at (good interiors). Good Like <3.......

This is a very ordinarily run place. They didn’t deliver what they said they were delivering, then when called on it, offfered only stupid responses. I suspect the place is run by teenagers. Even teenagers should be able to administer a burger menu well, but alas this appears not to be the case here. Btw the burgers themselves, when tried, are poor quality. Recommendation - avoid!! I mean why bother ?

I think it’s a good place to visit, they have nice juicy burgers 🍔. Service is ok, they took about 15 minutes to completely bring our order. Which is quiet a good amount of time at lunch hour on a working day.

Food - 3.5/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Service - 3/5
Price - 3/5

Always a reliable takeaway option that has a range of options for everyone.
I love the crispy bacon burger and sweet potato fries.
During my pregnancy I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. I discovered the “low carb” bun option and it was the perfect way to be able to keep within dietary requirements of having GDM. This was fantastic as it enabled me to have an option when eating out that always ensured I was sticking to guidelines. A bonus when you feel VERY restricted.

Great place to grab a quick burger dinner. Love the fact that Grill’d support local sporting clubs. Burgers are fresh and taste good. Kids love the food.

Nice service, friendly waitstaff who come around and ask if all is ok.
Enjoyed the pork belly burger, chips and ceaser for lunch. The pork belly was nice a moist without being too fatty. Really enjoyed the accompanying sauces in the burger. Chips with rosemary salt were on point. The ceaser was nice but the lettuce definitely wasn't the freshest. Lots of brown old bits, shouldn't have been served really. I did however, enjoy the egg and warm bacon and chicken in the salad. A nice experience and a good place for a casual lunch or dinner.

I mean you can't really go wrong with Grill'd. It's a tasty fail safe!
I went for my usual Mustard and Pickled burger, hold the cheese, with sweet potato chips. The burger is well sized, fresh and you don't feel gross after eating it.

Staff were really lovely and attentive.

Went there on Saturday for lunch. There were not many people. Staff was friendly and nice. Ordered Hot Bird chicken burger, Almighty beef burger and Our Famous Grill'd chips. Both burgers were good but the chips were just normal.

Another good burger joint for the inner west. All the Grill'd favourites done really well.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge for this outlet as Norton Street is always mad.
Worth the effort thou.

Absolutely love Grill'd! Every time I go there I'm happy with the quality of the burger and the salt on the chips. Love the Glorious Goats Cheese burger with extra bacon. Delicious!

Very juicy burgers! I had nourish and flourish burger and their sweet potato chips! Enjoyed my meal, the service is good. The waiter did came and ask if our food are ok, but we had to ask for water. Never the less, it's nice to have it for lunch. Although I did not like the goat burger that my bf had, but I guess it''s a personal preference thing. Worth going!

Felt like one of my old favs so decided to come here. Order and pay at the counter then receive number and they'll bring the food to you. Service is lovely here. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad as well as Snack Chips with a side of Sweet Chilli Mayo. The salad is my go to if I don't want a heavier meal of a burger. It was nice as usual. Chips seasoned nicely and like the rosemary in it too. Goes well with the mayo.

Such a cute little place. I don't normally eat burgers out but this place was so busy I thought it had to be good. The burgers are AMAZING!! I had the almighty and my fiancé and I shared the 3 different kinds of chips. The sweet potato chips wasn't that nice. Was very sloppy. Highly recommend the burger and normal chips. Service was friendly and very fast even though it was busy.

I live this place. Always truly wonderful food. The sweet potato chips are divine and it is good value for money in my opinion. Always completely satisfied when I eat there.

I've heard only good things about grill'd so when we drove past I insisted on going in to try a burger.

The menu had a good selection including beef, lamb, chicken and vegie burgers.

I ordered the 'Summer Sunset' beef burger with pineapple and bacon with a side of fries. The meal cost me a huge $22 but as I had my first bite I forgot about how much I spent as it was way better than anticipated, the flavours worked very well together and the patty was juicy, fresh and flavoursome. It wasn't one of those burgers that fell apart as you eat them- it stayed together and was easy to eat.

The chips were those long kind of flat ones served with herb Mayo, the serving was really big so I shared with a friend.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the burgers were out in 10 minutes.

Overall we where really happy with everything, and we will definitely be back
Wow, Grill'D hit all the spots today. Warm welcoming service from the moment we walked in until we left. The burgers were hot, fresh and packed full of flavor. We got the trio of chips, the potato and sweet potato were great, the zucchini were interesting. I got the Brie and bird burger which was juicy, stuffed with Brie and so tasty, my friend for the two sliders which were the perfect size and a great way to try a couple of flavours. Really nice tables and seating, spacious and very clean. Will definitely be back.

It is what it is: healthy burgers. If you go in expecting burgers dripping with cheese, onion rings, aioli and brioche buns then you've come to the wrong place.

Good family atmosphere for Sunday arvo and while busy, service was impeccable.

We had an entertainment voucher and even though the server I had did not know how to redeem the offer, he didn't muck around and promptly got a more senior server to help me out.

Food was great, as always. Don't feel heavy and gross after downing a burger and chips plate

I had been antisapating going here since my gf says its the best and the chips are to die for great selection of burgers and we ordered a side of chips. omg they were soggy and cooked in old oil just because they have herbs doesn't mean I can't taste the old trans fat oil they used and even found a raw chip emungst it. They offered to get some more for me but please fresh oil says alot. Don't think I'll go back!

Standard measure
Great to see a good burger joint in town to compete with the Thai and Sushi places. Pros: simple but tasty menu. We had two kids meals (some confusion over availability of juices, in the end we bought some Pepsi ), the kids were happy, a chicken and a beef burger and a selection of fries. All good.
Cons; cutlery was filthy, we didn't use it in the end anyway but it might save on te bad impression of you don't put the dirty knives on the table. The pint. I was thrilled to see a "Pint" on the menu and went straight for it. Top tip don't serve a pint in a 425ml glass, it won't fit. Again the beer was fine but I'd rather not be told that it is a pint as it makes me feel a bit robbed (of 50ml). Well I did say I was grumpy :)

The charity donation idea was pretty cool and was a great conversation starter for the kids, nice idea I wish more places did it. We let the kids choose who to donate to and it made them really think.

After signage teasing for months this place finally opened a couple of weeks ago and I turned up with entourage on the first weekend. So full marks for getting their act together from the get go; find a table, order at the counter, and wait not very long for your order.

It's burgers and chips with not too much to say except it's all quite nice and not fatty like certain joints. A reasonable selection of wine and beer adds to the slightly up market fast food experience.

It's dark in there with dark wooden fittings but the view straight out to Norton Street makes for a lively scene. Norton Street is starting to pick itself out of the gutter and this cheap and cheerful approach is the way to go rather than phony, overpriced Italian.
