Review Malaysian Noodle House - Leichhardt

We come to play football and to follow we have the fried chicken with honey sauce from this place - it is so delicious and easy better than your run of the mill honey chicken. This is an annual treat for us... We'd happily play against Apia more often for the love of the chicken! We must also mention the special fried rice, and the delicious spring rolls. Yummy!

Came here for lunch. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing people. Food was ready very fast, Singapore noodles are the best in Sydney. Will be back again!

Well we ordered from the Uber Eats Menu via delivery but some items are not displayed so we rang the Restaurant owner of the pre-order of Prawn Crackers that also didn't arrive with our order of Chow Kway teow which didn't have the flat noodles instead they give us fettucini noodles. 😤🖕👎Also the Mongolian beef with more vegetables than the beef with more oil no sauce. The only good thing that we got was the Large Special fried rice but no more orders from us. You have lost ur favourite customers sincerely. No 🖕👎 star rating status from us now we'll go order elsewhere thanks but no thanks. Had to walk to the restaurant and tell the owner we were not happy so they give me a Prawn crackers to go home with. Wow but no deal!! Next time we'll go with Mr Q's Restaurant owner instead. Goodnight.

To be honest, the food is disgusting, and please don’t use as a Malaysian , this is totally not Malaysian food! Google it what exactly the Nasi lemak is, the photo of your restaurant is the right one, but serve with different, that’s a lier! Never ever come again

We love this place. Super affordable for the family meal. Food is really tasty. We normally order combination fried rice, malaysian noodles and a stir fry of some kind. That's enough to feed a family of four of two adults and two young kids. We often come here or get delivery from them.

The food is VERY cheap and if it was advertised as a rice bowl I would not complain but this is not nasi lemak. It had a sushi rice base, there was broccoli in it, the chicken was basic Chinese stir fry you get at shops, it didn't have sambal just some weird salty gravy. It is ridiculous how wrong it is I added a photo because I didn't think anyone would believe me otherwise

This place deserves a far higher rating than it has. Really good food, especially the fried dim sims. Ask for the hot chilli soy to go with them.

Ordered a selection of dishes. Half didn’t arrive. Those that did were missing items and the quality of food was fairly abysmal. Such a shame. I won’t be purchasing food from them again especially as there are many alternatives. They need to lift their game.

Ordered take away through Uber eats and the food was inedible! The Sambal beef and Nasi Lemak (beef) was so tough, it was like chewing rubber. Had to throw our entire meal in the bin which was disappointing. Money down the drain!

Ordered nasi lemak with chicken curry. Service was quick and the old guy at the shop was polite. Definitely not authentic nasi lemak but it tastes good surprisingly! It has lotsa chicken in it, tender and nice, lotsa ikan bilis, half an boiled egg, no sambal and no cucumber but I wanna emphasise again, it really taste not bad and it’s really pretty good! Considered a bit pricey for a neighbourhood restaurant but the portion was big. They were also very generous with the prawn crackers.

very bad food. had a nasi ramas but tasted nothing like the real thing, gluggy, and revolting.  a poor cantonese version of the real thing. also a  supposed laksa  which i couldn't recognise............very disappointing

So impressed by the friendliness of the staff here! They're always happy to adjust their meals to my vegan requests, and last time I was there I was short on change and the woman who served me was completely understanding and kind about it. Food is delicious, they offer huge portion sizes for very cheap prices, and always ready impressively quickly!

This is the worst 'called Malaysian' restaurant.  The chef is from Mainland China & he doesn't know how to cook authentic Malaysian food at all.  The two dishes we ordered, didn't look or taste Malaysian at all.  It was awful, half of the food was cold.  I don't know why they still retain the colourful Malaysian food photos on their wall.  These must have been from the last owner, very deceitful.  It wasn't cheap, a waste of money.  I've eaten in very exceptional authentic Malaysian restaurants around Sydney, this is nothing compared with them.  One rating is more than they deserve!!

Not bad - prices reasonable. My husband and I ate there last night. He had the beef green curry with rice, while I had the combination laksa. He enjoyed his beef curry, though it wasn't very authentic in my opinion (I have eaten many green curries in my time!) but it was at least tasty. The combination laksa was a bit disappointing - ok but nothing special. I wouldn't hurry to go back, but if I lived locally I might order takeaways. They have a very extensive menu for such a small place!

Laksa goodness. Had some terrific take-aways from here. The Combination Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice are great.
