Review Quattro - Lennox Head

Beautiful restaurant in downtown Lennox Head NSW . With amazing ocean views and ambient feel it's a fantastic spot to enjoy a fabulous meal . They specialise in pizzas extrordinaire. Amazing Aronchini balls beautiful salads and lovley Italian cuisine. Oh and the best home made sticky date pudding I have ever tasted . Great choice of beers wines and spirits. Highly recommend.

Exceptionally friendly waitstaff. Great vista looking at the ocean. Some of the best mussels I've ever eaten. Plump, juicy and not overcooked. Delicious buttery sauce that could have overpowered the mussels but their superb flavour remained amid capers and olives. The crispy bread also a highlight. Warmed olive sidedish was also superb. The variety of olives highlighted their diverse flavours. The brisket burger was a let down. A big blob of relatively tasteless slow cooked brisket unceremoniously plonked inside a bun which was probably crispy before it drowned in beef juice and became doughy, kept company by some rocket leaf, hardly constitutes a burger. The shoestring fries were crispy and tasty. Would I go back, absolutely. I just wouldn't order the brisket burger.

Atmosphere and service is great! Food is rather pricy but the vibe is worth it. I ordered the Spaghetti Pescatore(as shown), which was delicious. Bill can be paid seperate and there is a Sunday surcharge of 10% Overall, would recommend for couples and friends gatherings.

The meal was tasty and was made quickly. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. As we were celebrating a birthday the staff brought out the cake signing happy birthday. The night was enjoyable for all.

It's a really popular spot with lots of locals. The food is tasty but service is slow. We went on a Sunday night and it was packed. The staff were friendly but the service was slow. They really need more staff to handle the amount of patrons. The portions are huge so if you're wanting entrees, you might want to reconsider. We ordered pastas which were all really good. The pizzas looked amazing.

We had such a lovely dining experience at Quattro. Not only was the food excellent - well presented and most importantly delicious, the service was really great and the amazing cocktails just topped off the whole experience. Great vegan options and a beautiful view with it being right on the beach too!

Had a lovely anniversary dinner, delicious food, great service and a nice atmosphere. The tiramisu was a bit disappointing though.

We had a fabulous dinner at Quattros last night. Food was delicious. All the staff were outstanding, very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Congratulations to the management on employing young people who obviously enjoy their job and create a lovely atmosphere for guests. Highly recommend.

Lovely breakfast, beautifully presented, and all the staff were lovely. Not to mention a view to die for! Highly recommend.

the most disappointing experience we have ever had at this restaurant last night when a staff member (duty manager) ruined my most important night with my family celebrating a milestone. I am a local and have eaten there several times. I booked a table for 4 more than 24 hours in advance. on our arrival we were allocated a table in the far right of the restaurant crammed in a corner which is only suitable for 2 not 4 big individuals. on the right hand side of our table the cutlery cage was located where staff constantly picked up the cutlery. on the left hand side of our table was the access to the back of the kitchen where staff constantly walked in and out taking the used dishes and so on. When our main meal dishes arrived there was hardly a space on our table for wine glasses and I brought this to the attention of the duty manager who brashly insulted my intelligence by justifying that this table is usually used for four table. a simply apology would have resolved the issue but the duty manager chose to lecture us and berate us for more than 10 minutes because I expressed my complete outrage by her behavior and the inadequacy of our table by saying that "I can poste this shit on facebook" if you are not sensitive to our dissatisfaction and demand and be treated with respect and dignity? I am appalled by this staff's behavior and the restaurant's lack of training their staff to understand the customers satisfaction when they pay more than $200 for a table crammed in the most undesirable part of the restaurant. I know this staff member very well since we have been at this restaurant many times so she was not a junior staff who would be given the benefit of doubt. This staff's brash and insensitive response to my concerns are so bad that I have decided not to eat there anymore and will not recommend it to anyone at all. I feel that perhaps it was my name that gave this staff the impression to step over her line of duty. I am a senior academic member of the local university and have never felt so bad to be treated by a staff in such a rude and brash manners. by the way, I ordered Chicken Parmegiana which was nothing but a few pieces of chicken cooked in a can of diced tomato with basil.

The staff were fantastic, put up with me changing the booking at least 4 times to 18 people, nothing was a bother, our waitress was lovely and knew her stuff, the food was amazing and the cake presentation was awesome, worth every cent what a great night, Cheers Quatro

We were at your Restaurant last night celebrating our Wedding Anniversary - firstly we had 2 waitresses checking on us - both asking if we would like tap water. Then we were left for dead seemingly, wondering when one would come back with a drinks menu or to take our order. Eventually one appeared - by this we had already been seated for at least half an hour & I might add we came in at 6pm - Restaurant was not busy!! Eventually our orders were taken - my husband ordered Seafood Pasta which was served very hot - I had Fillet Steak with Veges - had to call waitress as veges were cold & steak Luke warm!! She took it back to kitchen & I assume I was served new meal!! This was not good service for the prices you charge!! On the whole a good meal but didn't start off too well for what you are expecting 5 stars!! We also shared Affrogatto which was very nice. We were visitors for Easter from Qld & will be back again next Easter - you will need to be more on the ball with your staff!!

Despite our pizzas being delicious, I was very disappointed at the poor service today. It was not busy by any means, three tables occupied at any time, and I stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence for a good ten minutes. I eventually approached the counter and asked for a coffee while I waited for my friends. As three mums of bubs, we dine out weekly on a thursday at various places around the northern rivers, and we know when we are welcome. We definitely did NOT feel welcome.

The food here is excellent- the service however is a shambles. We ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down but didn't receive them until we had finished our meals... One of our meals was wrong and so that guy didn't receive his correct meal until we had finished our food... Don't get me wrong the staff are lovely but they all run around in a flap achieving very little other than looking confused and they need some serious organisation. Simple idea...allocate the servers set areas/tables so that they know what is going on and there is some level of continual service which is helpful for the patrons also. To be fair to the place the manager did adjust our bill to reflect the errors and again I have to add that the food was good but it was a frustrating experience. I'd probably go back but only for takeaway.

I had the lamb cutlets, best lunch out for a while. Definitely worth the drive. Cabonara was good too.

Very disappointing. Raw burgers had to go back. Poor choice of food on the menu. Coffee was good!

We had a top-notch fish dish, an entree pizza and some oysters. The service was great too.<br/><br/>We would thoroughly recommend this place for any others to try when travelling to/through Lennox Head.

Came here for breakfast - used to come here all the time years ago and had great memories. <br/>We ordered the Epic Roll and the Benedict with ocean trout, along with an iced latte and iced mocha. <br/>My partner said the roll was the best breakfast roll he had ever eaten - and he orders one every single breakfast. <br/>The eggs in my benedict were over cooked, and I found numerous fish bones throughout my meal. <br/>The iced latte was nice - however it is not listed on the menu and so I requested it exactly how I wanted them to make it.. not a lot of room for error. The iced mocha on the other hand was very weak, with huge amounts of milk and ice cream - not great for someone who actually enjoys coffee. <br/>Service was OK - a mistake in recording our order meant the Roll came out 5-10min before the benedict, but it wasn't the end of the world. <br/>Overall a mixed experience. There isn't a LOT of options in Lennox Head, and so this is a good one for the location, but not worth making the trip from Byron for ...

Food here looks and tastes superb. Orders were quick to come out and staff were happy to accommodate those with food intolerances. The only beers on tap was the local Stone & Wood Pacific and Garden ales which are a must try but if those aren't for you there's plenty of other drinks to choose from. It is a bit expensive for pizza and pasta and as it was a public holiday there was a 15% surcharge. However, you get what you pay for as the flavours and freshness is unreal. Not from the area but will call in again when in the area or if you're making the trip up or down the east coast you must make a slight detour and eat here.

great pizza lovely waitress but the sour faced women who gave us a table well she's not a happy face and it wasn't only us who said this anyway the stuffed olives were very nice I would go back just to make her smile

Maybe I am softening in my old age but this place ticked all the boxes. The pasta was fantastic and the highlight of the evening. Ok the wine was not right but was replaced immediately with apologies. The pizza was way above average but for service and food this place is a must. Great job guys. It's a long drive from Brisbane but worth it

Hubby and I had lunch here recently one Sunday.  Service was okay; waitress friendly enough.  Our meals were a bit disappointing.   I had a very limp, leafy King Prawn salad which admittedly had 3 large prawns on top.  For some reason I thought it would be a cold salad rather than grilled warm prawns.  The tomatoes were very squishy and should have gone to the compost heap days ago.  Hubby ate those! Prawns were over cooked; maybe just re-heated? so they had dried out. Sorry to say I ate very little of this salad.  Hubby ate his Local Angus burger and chips without complaint.  Sorry to say Quattro - certainly not one of the best lunches we have had down your way.  And call me stupid - but I hate the way the bills show the added 10% surcharge on each item and then as a total at the bottom of the bill.  I would prefer it as just one total on the bottom.

We absolutely loved the food here, we ate here twice in 10 days so that says something! The service was great and the kids menu kept all the ages in our group very pleased indeed. We enjoyed the oysters so much we ordered them on both visits. Worth a try but do book if going in peak season as they get very busy!

Awesome! Service was A class and the food was delicious! We had the Duck Ragu which was as good as I've had and Seafood Marinara was full of fresh seafood. Will definitely be back on our next visit!

Highly Recommended. I was thoroughly impressed with Quattro. I've visited the restaurant multiple times over the last week on a business trip and the food is nothing short of amazing. To top it all off, the staff is wonderful, highly attentive and amazingly friendly. The atmosphere is great with the beach just across the road. A benchmark for other restaurants in the area, thank you Quattro!

Good location and atmosphere, service was reasonable. Pizza was OK - a little soggy and lacking in topping, over priced for what it was. Duck ragout pasta was delicious. Not a bad experience, would probably try other places around the area next time though.

Great overall experience. Staff and friendly and happy to take complicated orders. Food was delicious.

Breakfast experience. First visit, nice location & plenty of room as we didn't feel jammed in like some cafes. The service was welcoming yet it did take awhile for our order to be served. Unfortunately my bene rye was cold, cold salmon & cold egg is not enjoyable but I was hungry so I ate it anyway. My partner enjoyed his meal thoroughly. Personally, too overpriced for what it is. Overall experience 5/10.

Arrived here at 3.20pm. Sat down,finally a waiter arrived and asked if we were having a drink or food. We said we'd like to eat and she gave us a menu. Took our wine orders then went and got the wine. We ordered 3 anti paste dishes. She took the orders to the kitchen and come back and said - 'sorry, you can only have pizza' why the hell not tell us before we sit down and order??? Would not of stayed as we wanted a light snack. We live in Lennox Head and have a tourism business in town. I really do not understand the mentality of 1. The wait staff and 2. The business for not proving meals all afternoon in a 'tourist town'. Dissapointed greatly!

Amazing restaurant! Go here once every couple of months for lunch or dinner and have never had a bad meal. Wonderful service every time too.

This restaurant is such a shambles and its such a shame. The service is consistently terrible. We have been a few times this year and it just doesn't seem to improve. Long wait for food, people's orders were missed and never showed. For some reason we waited 30 minutes for water glasses only to have half of them cleared away before we had even finished entrees. The wait was so long between entree and mains that we were twice asked by staff I we had enjoyed our meal and would we like dessert, them assuming we had eaten! The worst was that we were sat next to the owners family of unruly children who screamed the house down and left such a mess at their table. I felt embarrassed for the owner as she twice bragged that she owned the place, but none of us thought it was anything to boast about.<br/><br/>The pizzas and pasta were good, the mozerella bread was excellent.<br/><br/>The next week friend of ours ordered take Away pizza only to go to pick it up and they had run out of pizza boxes.<br/><br/>For the price you pay it's just not worth it.

Delicious breakfast. Perfect poached eggs, sweet Roma tomatoes & bacon cooked just the way I like it.

Terrible. We had 12 + people who ate here and spent over $800, however at the end of the night they still added an extra bottle of wine to the charge. When confronted they didn't question it but quickly said 'Yes, sorry about that'. One of the people at dinner said the same thing happened last time they were there. <br/>On top of that, the food was ok but the 'spaghetti marinara' was served with penne (???) and the tomatoe sauce totally drowned the seafood.<br/>Additonally, 1 person's order was completely forgotten but no discount given.<br/>Will never eat here again. Oh yeah, only 1 waiter to look after us, porr guy...

Very happy with the food offering - excellent options on the menu with entre sized pastas and chance to do 50/50 pizzas.. Gorgonzola pizza and the Marinara were both delish. Service was a bit muddled but didn't get in the way of a nice well priced experience. Thumbs up !

Great food and ambience, staff are nice. But, a little disorganised. Also, they are a little but pushy- we sort of got pushed into ordering a salad of that waitress' suggestion, which of course ended up being an 18 dollar salad as we discovered when we got the bill!

Great food and location. Unbeatable. BUT... Service can be hideous! Of the dozen times I've been, I have at least one negative experience with the service. Although the last time I went, there was a young guy with a shabby beard who was absolute perfection! He saved the place! The girls all look so shabby, like they've come straight from the beach to their shift, but not in a good way...

A Favourite. I have never had a meal i didn't like. All pastas are amazing, marinara risotto is pretty good, i don't even like risotto. Is Celiac and vegan diet friendly. If you are a wino you will appreciate their wine list! We always brought our visitors here as the service, food and prices are perfect!

Fantastic dinner menu - Wonderful service and very fresh seafood my partner and myself have eaten there about 3 times and meals have been delicious. The wine menu is impressive for such a small restaurant and atmosphere of hearing the waves and ambient music is wonderful!

Very poor service from lunch time staff.Completely ignored us until he was ready to serve us.Food came quickly and was tasty but a bit over priced also.Nice location but we won't be coming back.

Located across the road from beach, with sea views and ambience plus. Inviting impressive open plan, comfortable seating. Menu is extensive, which includes. Classic italian food. plus award winning pizza's. There is also a large takeaway menu. All of this is combined with good friendly attentive service
