Off the beaten track but well worth seeking out! Beautiful waitress Elanore, passionate & enthusiastic lead us thru a sumptuous 5course Degustation w’ matching wines. Ample servings of food & wine, good pairings although go for a serious long lunch, not part of a wine tour as you’re there for the long haul! They’re busy, always a good sign!

Perfect little spot for a quite wine and a grazing plate. The scenery here is really something special. Would love to go back for a meal as the restaurant looked beautiful

We came for a wine tasting as well as lunch & it was an outstanding experience. Georgina & Coco welcomed us & gave us a superb introduction of their wines. There’s a range of tastings (@ different price points) which can be used towards wine purchased. The pinot noirs & most of the whites are just delicious & Georgina’s introduction & explanations were excellent! The highlight was lunch at a set $90 for a degustation meal with wine pairings for an additional $30! Excellent value & a great way to experience their wines with food. The standard of food was exceptional - fresh, delicious & innovative. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & the views are to die for as the location is at the top of the hill. Reservations are necessary & this is definitely a must do when visiting Adelaide Hills! 👍🏼

Booked in for a wine tasting and lunch. Very impressed with our experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff in the tasting room and dining room were informative, helpful and professional. Enjoyed the wine tasting experience. Different prices for tasting and all reasonable. No charge if you buy wine. We did the degustation for lunch. Every course was well done. The only complaint was two of us couldn’t eat it all - the serves were so generous. The quality was exceptional. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend a visit.

Service was excellent. We had the degustation and the dishes ranged from stunning (scallop dish & desert), to very, very delicious (all the rest). Very reasonably priced, especially the wine. Service was very prompt, which suited us, while the offer was there to take pauses if we had wanted to. The view and ambience were also 10/10. I can't think of a criticism (poor show, I know!) We'll be back, even though it's a fair drive from our home in Christies Beach. Can't wait for the next season's menus.

We had a wonderful time in such a great location within the magnificent Adelaide Hills. Pike & Joyce dealt with dietaries with ease and far more than that. The Chef's passion was obvious in how these dishes were put together and the complexity hidden in making such seemingly simplistic dishes come together was wonderful to taste and experience. We went away feeling utterly fulfilled. Thank you.

Group of six for a 60th birthday. Table on the top deck verandah. Superb ambience, efficient & unobtrusive service, knowledgeable staff and superb location. The a la carte menu was excellent, the food fantastic, the wine from the vineyard was great. Will definitely be returning! Thanks very much!!!

Fabulous views of the valleys over the vines, beautiful food that was presented immaculately. The ingredients are sourced locally and are fresh and taste amazing. The creativity of the menu was something to behold. Well done to Garry, Sharon, Chloe & the Team at MT Lofty Vineyard. Oh the wine is awesome as well. The Chardonnay is a winner as was the Riesling, Pinot Noir, the late pick Riesling. Great Venue for a group of friends to spend an afternoon eating great food drinking amazing wine and having a laugh...

Just that all-too-rare combination of very good food, very good service and beautiful location. Well worth the drive up the hill.

Best place ever - great food amazing wine fantastic view

We visited MLRV with friends yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our 5 course tasting menu with matched wines. Such exquisitely presented food and fabulous flavours with some unique wines. Very impressed with the staff that were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and passionate about the produce and food and wine experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was incredible, even catered for my choice of vegan food, as we had a 5 course meal. The service was absolutely beautiful!! And they had a lovely fire going due to it being winter. It was such a cozy warm atmosphere. Will be going again!

Chardy under the Vines as part of the 2017 Crush event was very special last night. A small group of 28 were treated to beautiful 7 or 8 course meal each with a Chardonnay vintage with commentary from a wine writer. (apologies I can't remember his name). Wish I could post a photo.... a better spot you'd struggle to find. I have to this restaurant twice in the past & it never fails to impress...... food is always brilliant.

Winter reds at Mt Lofty Vineyards was a fantastic night. Excellent food, wine & service. Highly recommend!

Tucked away in the Adelaide hills, this establishment is best kept secret. There's something in the food which makes it so good! and the wine has a class of its own. With nice log fire burning away and admiring the view , the staff attend to your every need. Loved it ,

We had the degustation menu with their delicious Reisling. This was our second visit and this one was to impress our discerning Sydney foodie son and nothing about it disappointed. We had an excellent day, beautiful food we would otherwise perhaps not have tried and loved it all.

Stumbled across this beautiful cellar door a couple of months ago and came back for the degustation lunch this past weekend. Phenomenal menu (that lamb!!!) and beautiful wines. Especially the 2013 Pinot. Can't recommend Mt Lofty Vineyards highly enough.

We had lunch at MLRV on a cold and misty Sunday. Could not fault the service, food, wine or ambiance. Every staff member had a smile on their face and were genuinely engaging with our group of 4. We had the 5 course degustation menu which was varied, generous and beautifully presented. The wine is pretty amazing too. The 2016 Shiraz was rich and fruity and the 2017 Riesling was just delicious. We left with a few extra bottles after our meal (with a discount for all diners). Well done Chloe and team.

Have been going here since it was a small cellar door doing tastings and platters only. I have dined here 3 times in the last 2 years and the food has been excellent each time. The view and atmospheric is great service is good and friendly.
