Review Anderson Hill Cellar Door Restaurant - Lenswood

The fungi wood fired pizza was hands down the pick of the food ordered today, closely followed by the gin cured salmon and oh the wine was pretty good as well. Plenty of tables inside and outside. Parking, views of vines and friendly happy staff. Love the dogs walking about the customers, so well behaved.

We had the best time at Anderson Hill Cellar door today, the wine tasting contained the best wines we had Today, I especially enjoyed the sparkling Chardonnay. The Cheese platter and Pizza's were really good too. The service/staff were amazing, enthusiastic and super welcoming, and they took all the time for the wine tasting. This just the vibe we were after today! Thanks for the awesome time! We'll be back :)

Anderson Hill winery is a beautiful location nestled in the Adelaide Hills with friendly staff and amazing food. We went on a cold Saturday that was slightly overcast and were quite pleasantly surprised that the staff had gone out of their way to book us both a table inside and outside if we were cold. I can see a lot of people complaining of poor customer service, but our group of 6 experienced nothing except fantastic staff who were very talkative, friendly and helpful. The wine was amazing and their 2018 award winning Shiraz was beautiful and went nicely with our cheese platter and wood fire cooked pizzas. All pizzas tasted amazing, but in particular the mushroom pizza and chicken/bacon pizzas were a standout and I would highly recommend. The only thing I will say is be prepared to smell like smoke for the rest of the day if sitting outside near the wood fires. I would highly recommend visiting this place and enjoying the great food and wine, scenic location and friendly customer service.

Hidden away gem! Gorgeous views, cosy fireplace, fantastic, friendly service. Loved every wine we tasted in the canapé/wine tasting. Adored the carpaccio, spinach ricotta gnocchi which was so light, more like a soufflé than gnocchi and the funghi arrancini which was out of this world!!!!!! Very sweet doggies around, so well behaved (or well fed) that they didn’t show any inclination of taking our food even though we were seated on a low table by the fire. Wonderful example of warm, Adelaide Hills hospitality.

Great venue, excellent food & wine. We were lucky to get a table for the two of us, I would suggest make a booking. Will certainly return thru the warmer months and enjoy the outside area

Great experience. Had a cheese platter and tasting. Tasting was a generous size and they were very descriptive with the tastings themselves. Views were amazing and having 3 dogs around the place made it even better

Had a great lunch with friends. Beautiful spot. Fantastic service from Will - very friendly and knowledgeable The only qualm is the size of the pizzas. They were significantly smaller than what we were expecting for the price. If this is a standard thing, it needs to be addressed. 12" should be the standard for ~$25

Service was great 5/5, wine was also great 5/5. Only let down was the pizza's weren't the best for the price. Sourdough crust & wood oven would be much more fitting for such a nice winery. Would still go back, keep up the good work.

I have been a visitor to Anderson Hill for many years and have never been disappointed with the cuisine or the service. The new extensions have gone one step better. Absolutely professional first rate service and the view is one of the most beautiful to behold. And the home brewed beer is first rate! Try the ale, my favourite!

Absolutely great menu. Excellent quality, well presented food with best prices of any winery we've visited so far. Very friendly staff. If you enjoy a quiet, more romantic lunch, I'd go during the week, from Wednesday -Friday. The relaxed atmosphere, exceptional and varied menu, superb views , two gorgeous welcoming dogs AND great wines makes this winery a place to strongly recommend .

This is THE winery to go to in Adelaide! The scenery is second to none, the staff are welcoming and kind, the atmosphere is so warm, and the wine and food are just divine! I have been to so many wineries but Anderson Hill is second to none! Its always such a wonderful experience and I cant wait to return again! Its a must do if in Adelaide, see for yourself xxx

If you want a fun relaxing day w the most amazing food then this is the winery to check out. Family friendly, great service, beautiful wine and a view like no other. This is a hidden gem!

Our first visit to the new Vine Restaurant today. There were 4 of us dining and we were all super impressed with the menu and quality of food, it really was fabulous. We love going to Anderson Hill Winery, great platters and yummy pizzas, oh and the wine and beer are amazing and the views are spectacular in all seaons.My grandchildren love throwing the ball for Ruby the dog a great fun place for the children. We take all our friends and family and all have enjoyed afternoons there!!!

Fantastic food, great service and a magic outlook over the Adelaide Hills. Hubby and I went for the Valentine's Day dinner and were not disappointed. Will have to visit again to do a full wine tasting.....and hopefully to sample the food again.

My partner and I ventured around the corner to have lunch here on Friday. I actually regret not coming sooner! The food is amazing on the eyes and the taste buds and not too harsh on the walle4, the staff are personable and conversational.

Beautiful winery, great wine and pizza and lovely hosts! Had a birthday lunch a few Sundays ago with 15 people. Pizza & wine group deal was excellent value, and the whole day was relaxed and easy. Highly recommended :) Can't wait to see the place after the reno's 👌🍷🥂

I booked a table for 16, Claire was so accomodating!! We were under the veranda so out of the weather in case it was raining. The most breathtaking views in all of the Adelaide hills. I paid up front and while everyone was getting seated then wine and beer just appeared at our table, this was great because we were on a timeline. Same with the pizzas, we didn't have to do anything except enjoy each other's company. The service was amazing and the food and drinks were delicious. it is the kind of place where you could just stay all day. 👍

Great food, great view, very relaxed atmosphere, great service and....well appointed ladies amenities. Loved my visit, the time just slipped away. Will come again.

I really enjoyed our evening at this winery, the views are spectacular. The host was really lovely she was very welcoming and made you feel at home. The food was plentiful and delicious I particularly enjoyed the soft shell crab taco. The wine was great and everything was reasonably priced. 👌 I look forward to our next visit.
