Really liked the place. Food is delicious and has a really unique touch to it. Liked the area as well. A must try when in a close location. I ordered the silks special burger not like any regular burger. I had to eat it with a fork and knife. Tasted really good though.

A perennial favourite and must do in Leura!!! Always high quality ingredients on a seasonal menu with excellent serving sizes. I miss the days of the quirky older wines but the current list is excellent with a good emphasis on local smaller suppliers. The lamb and the beef were both to die for!!!!

We have been coming here for over 6 years. First recommended to us by a friend. Every time we come to the blue mountains, Silks is a must. We went again recently and food is simple, very fresh and flavours are good. A must try is the banana and caramel dessert.

This lovely restaurant was recommended by our B&B host for dinner. Really recommend stopping by for meal. The three course meal was very generous in size and hearty. I definitely recommend the scallops for entree and lamb for mains, couldn't fault the food at all! And on top of that the staff were very friendly and made the night very enjoyable.

Very popular restaurant on the weekend, lucky we booked earlier in the week as it was all booked out. We were due to dine for the later session, but they gave us a call as the table was available 15 minutes early, which was perfect as we were just about to get there. From that point on, the service of the night was top notch, very friendly & attentive. The menu was a classic Mod Aust, salmon, scallops, steak, chicken, lamb, pork etc, just what you expect, no surprises. I had the scallop for entree, it was nice and light with the accompanied salad.  The smoked salmon with poached egg & caviar was nice too, but for me it still seems a bit of a breakfast combo. My main with the Angus beef was a bit of a mixed dish, the steak itself was good, but the lentils were really out of place & didn't go with the dish, also the potatoe cake was chewy & crusty, could've been crunchy if it wasn't being sandwiched between the steak & the lentils, and soaked through in the jus. The dessert of chocolate mousse & pumpkin sponge was good, but we were already so full from the first two courses, we shared one dessert & still couldn't finish it. Overall, a nice evening and a good dinning option when staying in the mountains.

Amazing service. The staff were delightful and knowledgable and were easily able to make recommendations. Absolutely divine food. I had the lamb and chocolate fondant, paired with a beautiful cab sav. Heaven on a plate! Highly, highly recommend.

Lovely meal had by all. Very reasonably priced. Interesting and delicious starters and mains. I ordered Scallops and Zucchini flower for starters and Confit duck for mains. Both very tasty. Desserts were OK. I ordered a Medjool Date pudding which was telling a date muffin which was a bit dry and didnt help with not having enough butterscotch sauce and small scoop of ice cream. The wait staff were very
attentive and knowledgeable and friendly. Kept our glasses full throughout the night. Nice ambience. The restaurant was fully booked but we could hear each talk.

Still, we had a wonderful evening at Silk’s Brasserie. This elegant restaurant oozes romantic old-world charm that typifies the quaint township of Leura. What began as a last-minute booking suprisingly ended up being the perfect twilight dinner for two in the Blue Mountains.

Silk's Brasserie may be the only reason for us to come back to Blue Mountains in the future. A subtle decoration, great staffs & fabulous dishes. I don't think the price is too expensive if you go there with the thought that you are enjoying a holiday and you will not have lunch/dinner there every single day.

We had an AMAZING meal at Silks. Scallops for entree, Chicken for main and Chocolate fondant cake for dessert - all off the charts. Would literally eat there every day if I could (and it didn't seem creepy).

We were lunched!!. Here with 4 adults on a Sunday which, in true blue mountains fashion, had turned rather wintry.
The dessert menu looked so enticing that we decided to skip entrees and have mains + dessert only. In any case the home-made tarragon and honey bread (served on the house) was so soft and delicious that a starter wasn't required.
I had the pork tenderloin on a bed of sweet potato with mint + black cherry jus (I couldn't really taste the mint) . My fellow diners had the Moroccan lamb and the lightly peppered fillet of beef tenderloin. The servings were generous and the meat was tender, all 4 plates were well and truly empty when we were finished! I also chose to have another slice of the delightful home-made bread (did I mention how mouth-watering it was...?)
Desserts: the best by far and away, was the warm bitter-sweet chocolate fondant with ice-cream and raspberries. It takes 25 minutes to cook but is well worth the weight. My friend was very impressed with her medjool date pudding with ginger and butterscotch sauce (perfect for the cool weather). I had the trio of ice-creams (Belgian chocolate, raspberry sorbet and pistachio), whilst it was lovely it was not a touch on the other desserts present. Our other diner had the cheese platter, his comment was perhaps it would be better with a few raisins or dried fruit as is normally present on such things.

Overall the meal took a couple of hours, the weight would perhaps be a little long if you had somewhere to be. We however enjoyed a Sunday indulging in good wine, excellent food and great company.

Silk's Brasserie deserves the praise, the decor was lovely and the staff were pleasant.

Costly but lovely!!. Lovely overall menu... went there for a birthday and the service was lovely however all the staff seemed a little shabby with their attire. I could not fault the meal entree, main and dessert was perfect. Australian modern cuisine, lovely!

A great fine dining experience. We started off with fresh, warm bread. I haven't enjoyed bread liked this at any restaurant or bakery, so it was surely made on the premises. We liked the bread so much that we ordered extra slices at $2 each.
For an entree, I wanted to try the lamb's brains, but I chickened out and ordered the scallops instead. Good choice. I tasted my partner's selection, the Fish Soup, which was also fantastic.
For mains, we had the Lamb Backstrap and the Duck, which we both enjoyed. Our shared dessert was the Middle-Eastern Orange-Almond Pudding, a very unique dessert.
This is by far the finest restaurant in the Blue Mountains, with great food, skilled and friendly service and a warm ambiance.
Entrees are $21, mains in the upper $30's and desserts are $15. Sounds exy, but it really isn't, you get value for money.
Warning; they have either a 2-course minimum or fixed dollar spend conditions on certain days, sometimes even for children, depending on their ages, so enquire when booking, or check their website.

I've been coming to Silks for years but have only ever come here for a weekday lunch when I usually have the sensational gourmet sausages with creamy mash, fresh green beans and red wine jus, or the beef burger which is a flavour explosion in every mouthful. I have never had a bad meal at Silks and the service is always friendly and exceptional. Today is a Sunday and they have their a la carte menu, so there goes my usual choices. I ordered the Tenderloin of grain-fed beef with Dauphinoise potato, veal sweetbreads, Dutch carrots, onion jam + red wine jus. OMG. Amazingly good. Beef cooked medium rare to perfection and the sweetbreads which I've never had before were excellent. The minister for war & finance had the Roasted Tasmanian salmon fillet on grilled eggplant with kipfler potatoes, salsa verde, gremalata + tonnato dressing which she couldn't stop raving about. Now if only we could convince the meat and potatoes brigade of our family that fine dining is not all about funky food, I'd be able to bring them all for dinner. 10/10 Silks. As always.

A brilliant experience. In our entire state in Leura for a planning weekend Silks Brasserie is by far the best we restaurant we have eaten at.

Initally we tried to dine on Saturday but at short notice they were fully booked ... good for us because we got in for the Sunday night at 7pm.

Prior to our arrival we checked their site for a menu and noted that on a Saturday or Sunday night there is a minimum food charge of $50.00 per person. This did surprise us as did the reference to 10% surcharge on public holidays (they need to change that part because you cant charge a % surcharge) but I digress.

I arrived first and was seated in a prime window table.

The staff were all attentive and pleasant.

We each had a entree and main, and even with our quirks they followed or order exactly.

All the meals were well-presented and certainly well worth the price.

Total bill for three people including wine came to $240.00 which was not bad for a 'high class' restaurant in Leura.

We would highly recommend your dine at Silks on your next stay in Leura or even Katoomba but I suggest that if you want to dine on a Saturday you book well in advance.

A wonderful experience. Silks is a predominantly French-influenced bistro-style restaurant with a casual, yet elegant, ambience. All the staff are warm, friendly, attentive and very knowledgable. Our food was served very promptly and was uniformly delicious -- make sure you try their unique tarragon and honey bread, freshly baked on the premises! We loved the whole experience and will be coming back again.
