I have dined here during the day only - campos coffee has been made well, hot and tasty each time dine in or take away. I have enjoyed the crepes, falafel roll and my son enjoyed his kids chicken wrap with aioli - all of it was delicious! Lovely cosy vibe indoors, with seating also available outside - high chairs available, dog friendly too. I understand some of the comments about the barista/owner - yes he did come off a bit intense but he provided good service to all those he spoke with!

This is a cute friendly cottage style with an open log fire, it has a really nice feel to it. So glad we stumbled across here. Nice campos coffee and omelettes

Went to Wisteria for lunch after a big breakfast and therefore only ordered a Crepe Leura. Crepe was nice with the fruits and yoghurt. Good service from waitstaff but the guy at the cash register. I was standing and waiting to pay with my wallet in hand but was completely ignored by him counting the till. I waited until one of the waitstaffs noticed and served me.
Overall ok food, ok atmosphere, ok service. Having said that I might try other cafes next time I'm at Leura.

The owner was absolutely wonderfull. She enthusiastically told us about the restaurant and showed us around, was very helpful in deciding what to eat and showed genuine interest in asking about where we were from and our plans for our stay in Leura.

The food was fantastic and quite unique with a very Eastern European style. They serve a variety of Czech beers and reasonably wines from New South Wales.

The place is also quite relaxing and cosy with nice quiet ambient music playing. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to family and friends.

A cosy cafe like a wooden cabin in the woods filled with interesting memorabilia. The photos of the place uploaded to Zomato seems a bit different compared to what I saw when I visited. They now have a lot more interesting mountain related things on shelves and on the walls to check out. They have attentive service and a reasonable amount of healthy and tasty selection of food. Visited on an overcast day for a late lunch and it would be good if they made the lights just a bit brighter as it was a bit dim. I would say the charm is more in how they have decorated the place. Worth dropping by to check it out.

I have been here a couple of times over the years (family live nearby) and wanted to try it again as it has just changed hands I believe, a few weeks ago. We sat out on the verandah and while I had to fix a leg on the chair it was okay, protected from the cold by the plastic curtains standard on any eatery with outdoor spaces. The menu is simple but offering a range suitable for a cafe, and our food was good. I've read a few reviews that have been negative, but I would like to add we found no evidence of the former owner's alleged behaviour, in fact witnessing the opposite. A family arrived (mum, her daughter and daughter's three little ones from 5yrs down) as we were beginning to eat, they chose to sit outside so the children wouldn't disturb people inside. The staff were very accommodating and brought 2 baby chairs for the 2 younger children without any fuss. Hopefully the new management will bring a new experience, enjoyable for all!

The Freudian Sip benefited tremendously from their recent change of ownership. Poles apart from the old Wisteria Lane, which was “ordinary” to say the least. Good variety in the menu; I’ve enjoyed a few dishes in recent weeks, and all tasted great. Friendly service, as I am accustomed to in Leura. Happy staff are the best investment for any business. Recommended without hesitation.

Appearing to be under new management and cleverly renamed to The Freudian Sip Café, this lovely little local is perfect for a casual meal & coffee. It has a cosy, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and the waitstaff are patient and wonderful. Their simple and uncomplicated menu is prepared really well by the kitchen staff— the pies are super yummy and the hot chips are worth the wait! Job well done to the family who runs this café, it’s become my new favourite!

Delicious crepes and sandwich selection. We had the Wisteria crepes and the veggie toastie. Seating is available in and outside on the veranda. The cafe offers table service with friendly and quick staff. The coffees are of a good quality with Campos beans used. This place can be a bit noisy outside with all the tourist busses dropping off and picking up tourist visiting the area - nonetheless definitely worth a visit!

Very nice and romantic family restaurant. We came here for the czech menu, the duck was amazing so was the goulash. There are also several czech beers available. The overall ambiance is very romantic, perfect for a date or a nice conversation. I noticed the bad reviews and was surprised as both the food and service were really nice.
