Really good coffee and friendly service. Has a really lovely local and relaxed feel. Haven't tried much of their food yet but am keen to in the future.
I get a coffee here regularly which is a good blend, well made. I recommend trying the bacon and egg role with home made relish; the relish is great.
Trainspotting is a small cafe filled with mix second hand furniture and wall decorations. The bench paneled with recycled doors give a cute little touch. Everything about this place gives it a nice homely feeling. The menu is written by hand on butcher paper and placed on the wall behind the counter. The cafe/kitchen takes up the whole half of the cafe and also extends to a window at the front of the store to create a ‘hole in the wall’ service for locals to purchase their daily coffee.
It’s quirky without being pretentious and instantly won me over with its friendly staff, simple but appealing menu, and good value. The interior is comfortable, bright and decorated with some beautiful images, including a wall of kids’ drawings. Cute!
Great place to grab a coffee. New management is an improvement.. The new owners are getting into the swing of things and are a lot better at customer service than the previous lot.
Coffee is pleasant and staff are making an effort to get to know the locals. Worth stopping by for a coffee. The only criticism is that turn around time could be a little quicker especially as many people are grabbing a coffee on the way to the station.
Cute, small, quiet. Had breakfast here - quiet place right near the train station so gets a lot of walk through traffic. Not a full selection - just smaller stuff so had brekky roll. Glad they didn't do the stupid thing of putting grease proof paper on the board if you're trying to use knife and fork. Interesting choice of music and staff seemed to have a broad range of interests.
Oh My! Breakfast!!. Trainspotting is my go-to for a delicious weekend breakfast. Its close by and the food is divine. A classy mix of savoury and sweet breakfast options. I had the Lust croissant French toast this morning and I've never eaten French toast so balanced. Yum!
Baked Eggs and brilliant coffee.
This place is understated, friendly and welcoming. A great spot in the innerwest to relax a little and unwind.
Baked eggs were perfect and the coffee smooth as silk and full flavoured. My partner had the banana bread which is baked I house and probably the best we've had. Tempted to ask for the recipe!
A great find in Lewisham
Using a little known but exceptional blend ,Bills, from Orange,in the hands of the skillful barista, for this style of light roated coffee, you won't find better in the inner west. As for the food, a simple, somewhat eclectic menu, lovingly executed by a professional chef of the kind you don't normally find in a cafe.
