Review Sizzling Fillo Restaurant - Lidcombe

First filipino food in my life! It was fun to eat food with hands and food was amazing :) Garlic rice and fish was my favorite but other dishes were great too. Highly recommend this place!

Super busy venue. It is fully booked when we got there at 6 so it is recommended to book before hand. Food is great, pork knuckle is our favourite. All meal come very quickly and price very reasonable.

It's a pretty good filo place. Yummy food, maybe the portions are a bit on the smaller side? The ambience is very simple, no real specialty. You really just come here if you want to eat filo food.

Friendly staff food is great, Have come back twice and didn't disappoint.

Prices were a bit High for the Portion size of the mains (pork, Kare kare). The garlic rice was yum so there’s the stars rating for that. Service was poor did not refill our water jug often. Food otherwise was a bit bland and didn’t make us love filo food.

Undoubtedly, the best Filipino restaurant we've been to in Sydney! It was exactly Valentine's Day when we went to Sizzling Fillo to celebrate the day and also to celebrate my partner's birthday (we drove from Canberra). The location is pretty accessible, especially if you are travelling via public transpo as the restaurant is located in front of Lidcombe railway station. Firstly, we were treated with such amazing dishes! We've been to a lot of Filipino restaurants (and tasted a variety of them), but this one is an exception. We ordered our usual favourites: Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare, Pinakbet and, of course (since we are in Sizzling Fillo), a Sizzling Sisig (pairing them with a bowl of rice) and a tall glass of their tasty Halo-Halo for our dessert. They didn't just cook Filipino dishes, they've done it really well and the presentation is superb! Not just that, since during that time it was also their 9th Anniversary, they served complimentary desserts to all customers! And there's more— since it was my partner's birthday, they did a special birthday song from all the staff with, again, a complimentary dessert with a birthday candle. Such a treat and such a great experience! Truly recommended and worth visiting. We'll surely come back on our next visit to Sydney.

Fantastic Filipino restaurant. Loads of varied dishes and the wait staff are all very attentive and friendly. Really enjoy having some tradition Filipino food, can definitely recommend.
