A great cafe to enjoy your meal before you tackle the Costco crowds across the road. 😙The menu maintains traditional cafe meals while exploring flavour combinations which look & taste fantastic. 🙂
Service was quick & friendly. Food presentation was lovely in big portions. Karaage Chicken Waffle was a great twist on sweet & savoury dish. It was stacked with fried egg with runny yolk, bacon, apple & cabbage slaw, served with sriracha mayo & sprinkled with crushed berry. The chicken has a nice crunch but a bit dry, however I still enjoyed the dish as the waffle was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The flavour combo was excellent. 😌
Service and atmosphere was very nice!
Cool little cafe in a slightly odd location. I had the vegan bowl and it was really good. They had some nice looking breakfast options if definatley go back for. Didn’t enjoy their lemon grass ginger iced tea so much but I can overlook that.
Loved this cafe! The service was so friendly from the time we entered to the time we left! Was recommended the açai bowl and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back for more! 🙌🏾
First time I visited as it was recommended by a friend. The food was delicious and I was very happy with the service from the staff. Will be back soon.
Been here plenty of times for some coffee and it's always been a nice spot for brunch. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good food and great service.
Great spot for a local brunch in Lidcombe, Coffee is always good and the food consistent. The pane pasta was amazing, very unique dish and great to take photos of. The Chicken & Waffles with the special sauce is to die for
First time that I ate here and I really enjoyed the chefs special witch was the crispy skin salmon, I think the pumpkin pure could of been a bit warm
The chicken and waffle was great had the best of both world’s, sweet and savoury can’t complain. The carbonara pasta was rich and creamy and pretty good in my opinion.
I would say 3.5, but close to 4. Everything is self service, but it would be nice to see some more smiles. The food overall was good! The Rosti Benedict was flavorful, with a good proportion of each element. The Acai bowl was also very nice, the granola had a cinnamon taste with bites full of good sweetness. The berry grape drink was also nice and refreshing.
Been here many times! Obsessed with the food and drink here! Love the entire vibe of the cafe! Would definitely recommend. Although can get very packed on weekends from what i’ve seen.
Love coming here for breakfast or for a take away coffee. Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Nice cafe for when you start your day with a yummy feed!
Nice cafe in Lidcombe center. The scotch eggs had awsome spices in the sausage meat and the yoke was soft. Overall a nice cafe in lidcombe where theres a lack of cafes

This place is hidden in the lidcombe shopping centre. Right next to Woolworths. I am quiet impressed in their coffee blend it's really nice. I like the set up and I like how there's an outdoor section. Literally took me awhile to notice this place.
Located inside Lidcombe Centre, this Cafe has standard menu as well as seasonal menu. First dish I’ve tried today is the scotch egg with avocado. Love it. The salad and avocado added extra freshness to the dish. The Moroccan spicy sausage is so good and the chilli jam added a very tasty kick. Highly recommend. Then I had their signature hotcake. Plated beautifully and the hotcakes are in a unique shape of fish! For drink I had the mango passion smoothie. It’s refreshing and very fruity. It’s a great dining experience overall.
Really love the spaghetti here💕
Pasta with bacon
$17
Similar to carbonara, but much better because of the sauce. Much creamy and cheesy.
I would like to order the same dish again if I have more money in my pocket😊
The smoothie is good, but if they can add more yoghurt inside, it will be much perfect😋

First time visiting this place and have to say I'm wow'd by everything.
We came in for lunch but didn't expect traffic to be so bad getting there. So we left little time to order and eat. When we notified the staff that we needed to leave they were very kind and understanding about it.
They packed the food they were cooking for us away and apologised for the wait. But it was our fault not their's at all. Very polite and understanding.
The food is yummy, I had the pasta de leaf. My friend had the shell pasta and my girlfriend had the salmon dish. Our friend that suggested we try the place had a wrap :) will most likely return and preorder next time now that we know it's an option :)
Thank you fellow Leaf people :D
Order at the counter, take a number and find a table. It was fairly busy early Sunday afternoon when we dropped by for coffee. Drink service is quick and pleasant surroundings to enjoy your brew.
I love this little cafe and the people are great! They are so friendly and offering us what is nice on the menu. I tried the beef burger and its so amazing for a little cafe in the local. Worth the price!
🙋🏻Friendly staff
👍🏻yummy food
💃🏻good price
One of my favorite cafe in Lidcombe shopping center
Try Banana bread, burger, blueberry pancake ❤️
So so yummy 😆
Popped in for the first time to order a hot chocolate and banana bread. Wow! The hot chocolate came out in this adorable mug, with Lindt chocolate shavings on top - but that's not all, turns out Lindt chocolate was used in the drink itself! It tasted diviiiine and a pleasant surprise. Toasted banana bread was lovely and nicely presented too. Smiley and kind service. I watched some other dishes go past, eggs and burgers etc, and they looked equally impressive. Will definitely be back for many hot chocolates and maybe try a meal! Thank you thank you x

In my honest opinion, this is probably the best cafe you will find in Lidcombe shopping centre. Amazing cafe vibe, nice staff, and a good range of food and drinks.
I was a little hungry so I ordered the pulled pork burger. It didn't get me that amazing 'wow' factor but it was a solid meal. I really enjoyed the brioche bun.
Overall, I recommend you to check this place out!
This place is always crowded. Managed to get in before the crowd so felt like winning half the battle already. The waitress convinced me to try the four hours cold drip coffee. Must admit not quite a big fan of cold coffee but this is one of the day where all the stars are lining up nicely. The Nutella roll and the cold drip coffee are a match made in heaven. Also tried the Belgian chocolate milk which is a bit too heavy for us.
Bottom line : Great food. Good service. Average value for money.
So nearby home there has been a recent revamp of what use to be a large waste of space housing nothing more than Anaconda, Party Warehouse and a rooftop Bowling Alley. Now it's a booming mall on it's on right with strong hitters like Kmart, Woolies, Aldi and many small cafes. One of the more noteworthy cafes has to be Leaf Cafe and Co. It's located right besides Woolies and constantly draws a decent crowd of diners. Fortunately nothing ridiculous though where you would have to wait in line.
I started with their Omelette with Rustic Loaf... which offers many choices and varieties. The first choice involve what you want in your omelette and the second involves the type of bread. Their bread offering is quite impressive and delicious. I found the omelette a bit on the dry side, espeically with no sauce. You can of course ask for sauce but it's a shame it doesn't come with any in the first place. The winner here was the bread. The boulot with butter just made the dish... with its perfect crunch and rich flavours.
My wife opted for their Bacon and Egg Roll - two free range eggs, bacon on schiaciatta with tomato relish. I think the first surprise was that it wasn't a roll at all and more of a sandwich. I personally love crunchy bacon to which this was not but at least it wasn't drenched in oil. The successful combination of bacon and eggs just works and both of which was also cooked well and paired with the light relish (despite my love for sauce, sauce and more sauce) was actually quite sufficient and satisfying. The bread again was the winner here. Love the bread at this place.
Things to know about this place:
- They left their weekday specials on the board on the weekend which initially drew me in and then to find out it wasn't available.
- You grab your own table and you order at the counter so don't stand at the door waiting to be served.
The staff here were friendly and were helpful with all the questions I had. The water is self serve as well near the counter.
The pricing is fair for the quality you get. I also love their industrial themed decore.
I'm glad to have such a nice and lovely cafe nearby home. Definitely worth the stop off if you're in the area and you need to cure the hunger pangs.
Visited today and a number of times before. I love the fit out but the donut today looked aweaome but it tasted like it had been sitting in the window for a week! This place has awesome coffee but. I find the staff are not very attentive.
Wonderful start to the day, scrumptious breakfast I ordered the smashed avo on sourdough. The pesto spread was a nice touch. The Aloha cold pressed juice is also a winner!
Hot days like today call for one thing. Cold Drip 😍
I'm loving this stuff right now so I headed here today to gives theirs a taste. Single origin from Papua New Guinea. They change it each week. Came in a cute little jar which I could keep.
The staff were very friendly and answered all my annoying questions with a smile.
$6 but I'm happy to pay that 😊
It tastes great. I'm drinking it right now.
Can't wait to come back for the food.
My husband and were pleasantly surprised to find this cofffe spot in lidcombe...if you are around, do try out. Mocha here is a must to try. Nice location with plenty of parking
My family and I have now been to the Leaf Cafe Lidcome twice and have enjoyed the delicious coffee, beef burger and pastries! The interior is welcoming and very stylish. Service is very prompt and pleasant with a smile. Price is very reasonable for a cafe standard!
Thanks and I will be back!
