Review Pr Korean Restaurant - Lidcombe

ALICETANG -
Waitress don't like to smile, seems not friendly and unhappy working alone. Original fried chicken very crispy, side dishes are nice, fried rice taste good, stir fried chicken just normal average. Overall for this combo set is $62, good portion for 2 people.

Dakgalbi cooked to order! Huge & tasty portion size for two. We even had enough to feed us the next day. Highly recommend potentially with a small group of friends!

This restaurant specialise in Dakgalbi (spicy chicken) and it’s so delicious!! Love how they cook it in front of you, and they have combo sets (so you can order seafood pancake, or fried chicken etc as your other dish) and prices are reasonable too! Friendly service and they have few outdoor table dining also.

Very busy authentic Korean restaurant in the heart of lidcombe. They do a unique dish that not many Korean restaurants do in Sydney. Think of it like Korean paella. Service could be better as the staff run around tables cooking the paella for patrons they are often run off their feet during busy teams and can be a little unattentive. Food is solid.

Loved the spicy pork stir fry. It was hot and sizzling, tasty, tender and plentiful. Hubbie had beef stir fry and thought it was reasonably tasty, but we would like to return and try the dakgalbi, which appears to be a house specialty.

The service was great and food also good on the most part. We got the combo with chicken dakgalbi and seafood pancake - chicken and rice were great but the seafood pancake was a big miss. Would have given 3 stars but extra star for the good service.

Very delicious. They cooked the cheesy dakgalbi in our table with fried rice! Price was decent and the workers are very nice and friendly. The workers refills the side dishes before we ask them. Very satisfied with the service👍 Highly recommended. Definitely going again

This is a pretty good Korean restaurant. The highlight dish was the spicy stir fried chicken which gets cooked in front of you. We had the one with cheese and added toppings of ramen and rice cakes which was really good. Other dishes like the seafood pancake and spicy fish roe soup were also pretty good. The fried teriyaki chicken was okay but not super crunchy. Overall, great restaurant and happy to come back.

We came here after many salivating photos of their chicken bbq and we were not disappointed! Feeding four hungry girls, we ordered the seafood chicken bbq and it was both satisfying and filling! We definitely recommend this place for group lunches/dinners as the portion of the chicken bbq at least, is incredibly large.

The sweet potato noodles here were tasty and a large portion size! The chicken however wasn’t as crunchy as expected and not the best Korean fried chicken. Side dishes were good and service was prompt but some staff lacked English. There’s a surcharge for card payments as well which the staff had a hard time communicating to us.

You’ll be spoilt for choice if you’re looking for Korean restaurants in Lidcombe, but for something a little different, try PR Korean. Specialising in chicken BBQ, there’s hot plates filled with chicken cooking in red sauce on every table when we visit. Of course, there’s you usually Korean classics, but if you’re at PR Korean, you’re here for the Chicken BBQ.

RATE 2.5

my group wanted a little snack and came here. the service was average, food was little better than average. (we also got 2 servings of kimchi fried rice - that came much later)

the 1 thing that annoyed us was the menu. we wanted this cheese chicken dish, but we needed to buy a minimum of 2 servings equating to $50?! we scrapped that idea but left us really disappointed.

the chicken peices came out small and the dumplings were ok. honestly i loved the side salad served with the chicken. the sweet and spicy chicken was good too.

--- my mate (first time eating korean food) HATED IT so i would keep that in mind.

Headed to PR as I was craving some Korean BBQ. We sat down at the front restaurant but was told the BBQ menu is only served at the back restaurant, so we promptly moved there. We ordered two serve of the beef ribs and the loin. The ribs were definitely better, more Marinade and meaty. Lots of sides came with it and a complimentary beef tataki. Not a bad meal!

great customer service - good food; wasnt too spicy - wanted to try the cheese spicy chicken but unfortnately there was minimum of purchasing two serving! Was gutted as two serving was too much;

Spontaneously met up with a long lost friend, and after 20 mins of pacing-in a confused, an indecisive manner. We settled for PR Korean, as it was the most packed restaurant.
I'd rate the Korean BBQ menu as somewhat average, or "meh". The meat we got was frozen, still thawing; it wasn't pleasant to cook. Not worth the price.
Service was prompt, but attentive. The ambience was welcoming.

Korean restaurants in the Sydney CBD started out servicing the large international student community, though these days the punters are more diverse. Eastwood, Burwood and Strathfield are known for great suburban Korean. But Korean and Lidcombe doesn’t exactly roll of the tongue. That is, unless you live in the area. This is still an undiscovered hidden gem for honest Korean food.

BBQ Chicken & Chili Ninja !!!!Lidcome is like a sister to strathfield in korean bbq, PR korean restaurant provide an interesting "Spicy bbq chicken" dish with have vegies and spices all cooked in a big hot plate in front of you. Of course you can add noodles or other carb dish as extra but this dish alone can feed 2 to 3 people with no issues.
They also serve small hot pot dishes and other typical korean dishes but this place is known for their spicy bbq chicken, you can choose your spicy level and all the sides are FREE 😉 .... Until next time ..... keep eating!!! 😊😊😊😊
It's CAKe Time
PR Korean Restaurant in Lidcombe was one of a handful of Korean restaurants in Lidcombe. I had always walked past this place and admired its menu but it took me a while before I actually went in to try. For lunch time, I believe they have this $10 bibimbap deal or something, which a lot of people were having. But this wasn’t why I had travelled there for. I came for the dakgalbi BBQ stir fry. I shall get my dakgalbi.

It’s cold. You want to drink. But you’re also hungry. Hello dakgalbi. What’s dakgalbi? Picture a massive chicken stir-fry, mixed with a mountain of cabbage, sweet potato, onions and chewy rice cakes. It’s what Korean uni students eat when they go out drinking – cheap, generously portioned and the perfect bedfellow for a night on the turps.

The picture above is the end result of about 15 minutes of cooking a mixture of vegetables, chicken and chilli paste on a hot plate situated within the table and then eating half of it, it’s quite similar to Korean BBQ. As expected of almost every Korean restaurant we were given generous servings of banchan, we didn’t need to ask for any refills because the meal was so filling but you get the usual seaweed, potato, salads, kimchi and fishcake that you would get at any other Korean restaurant in Sydney. Before Cooking You start off by picking how spicy you want it and then it takes around 15 minutes to cook because there’s a lot of ingredients, the worst part about this dish is waiting for it to cook and having the delicious smell waft constantly over you. The best part is definitely that t
