Review Carnarvon Golf Club - Lidcombe

I had my first game there today. Course is in stunning condition, such a great day. Visited the 19th after our game. Great clubhouse and bistro, highly recommend the Burgers!

I took mum to the Golf club for an early mother's day dinner. The food was fabulous!! Sam, a staff member was very friendly and welcoming. I love this club !!!

This is a paradise in the city. Best valuable golf course in Sydney. The easy-to-walk course, newly renovated clubhouse, friendly staff, and the food are also delicious.

Wow!!! How good is this golf course and the Clubhouse is beautiful👌👌 Fantastic staff in bar, restaurant & Pro shop. The menu changes seasonally and lots of choices to suit everyone! Great food & good prices. Plenty of parking. Love coming here. Good vibe🤩

The bistro at Carnarvon Golf Club was recently rebranded to become Nottinghill 65 and now offers a wide selection of contemporary flavours with stylish plating. Some of the standouts here include Confit Pork Belly, Fillet Mignon or my personal favourite, the Wallaby! For something more laid back we recommend the Grilled Barramundi, Chicken Schnitzel or one of the bistro's trendy burgers. The views across the fairways are incredible, and Carnarvon has always had a family friendly sociable atmosphere, more great reasons to visit this Western Sydney gem.

Very nice menu with fine food and pub staples, surprisingly not busy for a weekend lunch time, perhaps a hidden gem. Very welcoming even if not a member :)

This is the best place to do your event at!had my baby shower yesterday here and it was an awesome turn it! Loved the staff they were so welcoming and kind!!!! Great team of stafff!!!! Thank you all for having us !!! ���

I love Carnarvon golf club especially the staff they are warm and inviting.. Thanks so much to the functions co ordinator, Heidi for going above and beyond expectations to accomodate for my client's event to ensure everything runs smooth.. It is a wonderful environment & great view to hold your special event or just to relax and unwind.. Highly recommend this place for your next event��

We had Fsthers Day breakfast yesterday unfortunately not a good experience. Orders were all mixed up coffees were cold very disappointed. The rush was over when we arrived so there was no excuse. Having said that we had our Grandsons christening there in July food was amazing Bar staff wonderful 🤔🤔

I have been here several times with Family and it's always a great experience and the food is amazing. My Wedding Ceremony and Reception was held in their function centre on 18th September and although it was slightly raining the Staff did very well to prepare the venue before guest arrived and maintained well service throughout the night. I highly recommend to have a visit if your in the area, the golf course itself is just incredible.

I and my guests thoroughly enjoyed my retirement celebration at the Carnarvon Golf Club. Nothing was too difficult for Heidi Manson, Functions Manager, and considering there were 3 other large events on the same day before mine, everything was in place. Food was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked and pre-requests for special dietary requirements were excellent for their particular needs. There was a trivia night held at the same time which also did not impact on our function. A big thank you to all concerned for an enjoyable and memorable occasion. Jennifer Dyer

What an amazing day at Carnarvon Golf Club yesterday for Mums 90th birthday. Thank you for making it a special day for us all. Great food great service and great view overlooking your beautiful golf course. Special thanks to Heidi for doing everything just right for us to make it the special day that it was. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Typical club setting. Food acceptable but not exceptional. Needs an internal refurbishment.

One of the best courses in the area & always in very good condition.

We had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing. Heidi and her team turned our dreams into reality and the food was so delicious. I would totally recommend this venue for any event. I hope to use the venue real soon.

Played the front 9 holes with Mr. Parvez Buttar. Beautiful course with amazing lush fairways and greens. Would definitely love to play here again and see the back 9 holes as well.

I had organised with a lady (cathy) who new about my fathers wake, including funeral time etc, explained she would tell heidi, but got it so wrong saying my party of gatherers would be there at 3pm but we arrived at 1pm with nothing ready. Very disappointed, and I do not understand why clubs etc dont ever cater for vegetarians.

We have had couple of team lunches here. I ordered the veg club sandwich and was very disappointed with the toasted sourdough. Next time around I requested they make the club sandwich with burger buns and they obliged:) the chips are really good. Will go back to try the pizzas!

Have been here for both breakfast and dinner, they do pancakes or big breakfast special on Sundays which is great. Their meals are done well and it’s a nicely renovated venue with gorgeous golf course view during the day. I’d give 3.5 and it just lacks a little atmosphere on the occasions I’ve been. Will go back again.

You don’t need to be a golfer to enjoy the lush green fairways at Carnarvon Golf Club, the best views are actually from the bistro!. But if you do play golf, Carnarvon Golf Course is rated among Sydney’s best! . For me, Carnarvon is all about the food, and it's also my local club, so I am never far away welcoming glass of wine, juicy piece of steak and one of the best dining views in the west.

Carnarvon is a hidden, quiet place where I did placement for my TVET hospitality course in year 11 and 12. They serve bistro style food accompanied with a view of a spacious golf course through floor to ceiling windows. I often find bistro food not cooked well or fresh but this is not the case with the menu at Carnarvon. Definitely a nice place for an affordable and quiet feed any day. I recommend the perfectly cooked barramundi.
