Really delicious Thai food. I have been to this restaurant a few times and got some takeaway on Friday night and can honestly say the quality is still extremely high. While they continue to serve during these testing times, I will continue to purchase.
They deserve better reviews. Had an awesome dinner there last night. Went 5ish for a early dinner with family. The waitress took the right order but placed the order wrong on the system. We got Pad Thai with beef instead of chilli basil flat noodle with pork neck. But they took it back and apologized. Got a new one after 10mins. We also had chilli basil stir fry chicken mince, roti, pork spring rolls, and ginger fish for the little one. Every dish we ordered was excellent.
They do pretty spicy food here, just be careful with the spicy level you order.
All the food got great flavors, and veggies were nice and fresh. We enjoyed them all. Couldn’t finish them and had to take them home. Was still so tasty for the next day. If you’re craving for Thai food in this area, don’t miss out this restaurant! Was enjoying too much so forgot to take photos 😂

I went here by myself one night. Walked in with my hat on and saw a hat rack filled with many hats. Looked around and saw that no one was wearing a hat. So I did some quick maths ( I got kept down in year 5 but doing it twice really helped my maths get quicker) and came to the conclusion that I should take my hat off. It was also close to closing time and they gave me free dumplings.
Fantastic food, atmosphere and service, every single time. This is our go to, almost every week. Tom Yum soup, red, green and yellow curry and the pineapple rice are all must haves went you visit!
Excellent Thai restaurant. The staff were very polite and cleared the dishes away as soon the plates were empty. Water was provided on the tables. Our food tasted great. The chicken in the curry was chunky while in the stir fry it is in smaller strips. The beef in the other curry was very tender.
At last - exceptional Thai food... my mouth and belly are still singing happily with the striking range and intensity of flavours. A genuine Thai meal, with a broad selection of dishes (we tried the Tom Yum, Toong Thong, Som Tum and Green Curry - all of which had me blissing out - but there is a dozen more I want to try next time), all of the highest quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was elegant and fun, and I appreciated the table to table check in by friendly staff - they were really tolerant of my teething toddler, and in their kitchen garden ringed outdoor area had toys and a tuk tuk to distract him with! Thank you for finally bringing some tantalising Thai to the valley!

We picked up takeaway we phoned through about 15 mins earlier and everything was great. From the friendly customer service through to the magnificent food itself it was a delight. This is the only place I'll be getting local Thai from anymore!
Great restraunt for lovers of Thai cuisine. My wife and I had the banquet (which I highly recommend), with each dish becoming better and better as it was brought out. At last we have a fantastic Thai restraunt in our area! A word of warning though: you MUST book a table. This place is very popular and with good reason.
Another Thai restaurant in Lilydale! I hear you, but this is not just any Thai restaurant...it is one of the best in the Yarra Valley, if not all of the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne...and the best bit is that it is right on our doorstep. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Fantastic food with great presentation and full flavours. My only criticism would be there are far too many tables so it is crowded. Taking out just two small tables would free up the space and give diners some elbow room. But overall I love this restaurant.
We had a really great experience there. We did the banquet and had no idea what was coming out but thankfully everything was delicious! We were worried too as the place was packed and all the staff were running around like headless chooks but they must just be really efficient! The starter was so tasty, the meatball with pineapple wedge and the cashew chicken was amazing. Oh and the owner can make a decent cocktail!
Awesome Thai food not dumbed down at all. Fresh and delicious with lots of flavour. Barramundi salad on special was wonderful. Waiters are lovely. A great addition to Lilydale.
Amazing, amazing, amazing! Full house and the service was so quick and the food was beautiful!! They have only been open 7 months & the owner is really friendly. Best roti bread & peanut sauce I’ve ever had!! Red duck curry awesome! Would have given a 5 but we ordered the pork & prawn doughnuts and they weren’t anything special. But everything else spot on! Even the coconut rice on its own was delicious!
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Food is amazing!Beautiful flavours and very fresh. We had the sticky black rice and mango dessert which was by the best dessert I've ever had at a restaurant! The staff are very friendly and service was quick. Will most definitely be coming back here!
Overall I had a nice experience here. For entrèe we started off with the chicken satay skewers, which were delicious. We also had the spring rolls, however these lacked flavour. The filling seemed to be way overmixed, leaving it all stuck together. For the main I ordered the Mussaman Curry. This was delicious; the meat was tender. I had a glass of cab sav to go along with it. I also ordered a side of garlic noodles but wish I'd just ordered rice. The noodles were like those out of a two minute noodle packet and they were all stuck together. I couldn't finish them. Whilst there were some things I didn't like, I'm keen to go back yo try the pad thai.
Delicious food! Golden bags for entree was crunchy and a lovely vegetarian filling with a light chilli sauce accompaniment was just right. main course of yellow vegetable curry had wonderful whole cherry tomatoes, whole baby potatoes, fresh peas (not frozen peas), snow peas, corn etc a mild delicious curry sauce. We had take away but I noted the restaurant was packed so book a table. We will be returning to try other yummy fare.
This is an absolute gem. I've never seen a suburban restaurant so packed and you can see why. The food is outstanding and service is very fast and friendly.

Imm Oon is an interesting contemporary Thai restaurant, along the main street of Lilydale. The décor is urban -industrial, with a polished concrete floor, off white painted brick walls, with some timber panelling, and exposed beams set against a black ceiling. Some suspended lighting, including several large ex-factory fittings, complete the effect. I attended on a Saturday night, and it was bustling and chaotic, the ambience marred by loud people chatter, and a constantly ringing phone, and the entrance was congested by people milling around the tiled counter to order takeaway and settle bills. The dining space was full to capacity, and I overheard one party of potential customers being informed there were no available tables. Clearly it is a very popular venue, but not a place to have a relaxing meal and a quiet chat. Fortunately, on my first visit, I elected to have takeaway. The menu is not as extensive as some Thai restaurants, but it includes several of the usual Thai favourites, and vegetarians and vegans are quite well accommodated. I selected the veggie spring rolls, a vegetable green curry, and roti. And the verdict - the food was very good, explaining the high level of patronage. However, I am not sure I would want to dine in, having witnessed the cacophony and bustle. It is hard to assess the service, as they were busy serving and taking orders, but it seemed adequately casual and courteous.

Been here twice now, a few small faults (sticky tables, really loud and really cramped) but it is all worth it for the food! The staff are friendly and very attentive. Food is amazing. I had my first ever curry puff here and loved it! I will be returning for sure!
Do not be turned away by the ratings on zomato ... thankfully we didn't! We also looked up other sites and facebook has high ratings on this place. even though we had another booking elsewhere, since we had passed by why not? And boy were we glad we gave it a go! taste was exceptional and customer service was superb.. love the details that the chefs take in presenting the food. not to mention generous serving portions too!! 😊😊 will be back next time we are in the area!

Booked for 830pm on a Friday night and the place was packed! For some reason they didnt have my booking written down but there was still a table available, the only one.
Despite being very busy the staff were super attentive and all drinks and meals came out in great time. Started with some roti and peanut sauce plus the pork and prawn doughnuts. Both really nice, the best roti and peanut sauce ive ever had. The roti was the perfect combo of soft, chewy and crispy somehow all at the same time. For main i ordered the soft shell crab and my friend the chicken larb. The first half of mine was delicious but the sauce was very rich, salty and sweet and with not much of a side salad to have with it so the balance was a bit off and i was really thirsty by the end of it. It was cooked well and beautifully presented but id suggest less sauce and more salad for better balance. The nori sheets confused me as well, they seemed very random and as if they didnt belong on a thai dish. Still really enjoyed it all and ill definitely go back
Yayyyyy finally some great Thai food in Lilydale. Can't speak for the venue as we got takeaway but the food is amazing. The pineapple fried rice is the best rice I've ever had and the Pad Thai is bang on. Can't wait to come and eat in and try some more dishes. ❤️❤️
Lovely new Thai restaurant. Gorgeous interiors with a warehouse feel, exposed beams and brick. Friendly staff. We got vegetable spring rolls, chicken stir fry with oyster sauce and massaman curry with beef. Food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. I would have liked more heat in both of the dishes. Servings of rice need to be bigger. Family friendly. Takes bookings.

I am a vegetarian so ordered the green bean curry. They added crispy tofu for me and extra coconut rice. Divine. The carnivores had satay chicken and spicy prawns etc and raved about it. Great service. Not too price. Will definitely go back

My friend and I ordered soft shell crab, vegetarian spring roll, Pad Ke We (sorry I forgot the right name) and Pinapple fried rice. All of them was delicious. The prawns and squids on that picture? They are real, massive!! I am a fan of Thai Tea. Their interior is amazing! The bathroom made me feel home (Bali). Definitely will come back again!! You guys better book the table before go there, crazy busy but the food came out fast.
Always a pleasure coming here. Even when they're short-staffed and doing their best to manage timing, there's a smile, friendly service and simply great food. Absolutely delicious. Every dish was great. Coconut rice was just delicious, won tons, beef curry, stir-fry veg with water chestnut, Yum all the way. Can't wait to order again.
I come here again and again and again for the best pad thai I have ever had so far in Melbourne.
The other dishes are fantastic, too, but they have the most generous amount of seafood and giant prawns in their pad thai out of any restaurant I've ever been. Dare you to find me another place that serves this much prawn on a single noodle dish... you will lose. Only Imm Oon.
