Really great local Thai restaurant, deserves better cred then some of the other Thai restaurants in the area. The combination pad kea Mao was very generous in serving, and definitely not lacking in proteins. The spicy is more sweet & spicy then the normal straight heat spicy you expect, still tasted good. The marinated crispy chicken wings were very moorish. Will definitely return.
This is my go-to Thai restaurant for when I don't feel like venturing far from home. It's always quick and friendly, with a range of delicious offerings on the menu.
I particularly recommend the pad see ew or the Thai fried rice!
Travelling to see family in Sydney last month, I arrived quite late in the day (and quite unexpectedly, too) so rather than force ourselves to go shop, cook and clean up afterwards, we decided to visit Khob Khun for a Thai dinner. To be truthful, I wasn't expecting much. Thai in the middle of Lindfield? Really? How authentic could it possibly be? Well, I was forced to eat my words. We ordered three dishes - the red duck curry, the papaya salad and stir fried fish, snow peas and mixed vegetables.
