Brilliant food, always delicious and freakishly consistent in taste and presentation. The Alu kofta and felafel are my favorites but it's a hard to go wrong with anything on the a menu. My favourite restaurant anywhere !

Brilliant! You must go! The lentil soup is great as is the stuffed nan and the curries! One of my favourite places in the world

This is a lovely, friendly vegetarian restaurant. It is only small, but that is one of its highlights. The courtyard was candlelit and also had a few string lights, making for a very intimate surrounds. Soft music was playing in the background. Inside was very casual, as you could sit on lounges as well as at tables. We were greeted with a warm smile, shown to a table and were given water. The menu wasn't large, but it was definitely interesting. I had the middle eastern platter, which was delicious with so many flavours. Generous meals, lovely smells and friendly hospitality. I highly recommend this place. I am not vegetarian, but I really enjoyed the meal as an alternative. A little hidden gem in Lismore. The name of the restaurant has a story of it's own. The only negative was they don't have Eftpos, only bank transfer or cash.

Can feel and taste the love poured into each and every dish. Am never disappointed when I dine here. Super cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Feels like you have been invited to a friends place for dinner.

Best restaurant in Lismore In my dating days I would ask girls out to dinner there and they would ask if I was vegetarian. No, I love a good steak, but, it's the best restaurant in town. It's not a business, it's more like a charity or a church My favourite dish from there, curry, a mixture of Alu Matar, Palak Alu or Chunna, and yellow Dahl. After an entree of pakora Kurgelis is lovely too! Turkish delight for desert

Lovely old place. The loud slamming door was annoying, the food well made though far too spicy and rich. One very young waitress was very helpful and charming, another almost surly. A little overpriced. Would i go back? Yes, i would like to see if it can be better on another night

Friendly staff, wonderful food, cozy and casual decoration. The backwards would be the duration took to serve the food (at least an hour), amount of food was low for the price ($30/person), the tables outside were not convenience for sitting long because of mosquitoes and candles were not sufficient to see the food. I would definitely try again though.

Seated and water. .and waited and waited. Place was busy and food coming out looked interesting. 10 minutes later we gave our order. And waited some more. Then entre finally arrived. 1 spinach roll and 2 verge spring rolls cut in half to provide 6 portions. Nice. Not brilliant. Then waited....3 of us shared the small banquet and other had some feep fried naan bread and corn fritters. The bread failed to appear with the banquet entrée as previously requested. And as we moved into the second hour a second bottle of water appeared. I contemplated ordering a pizza while we waited for the next stage of our banquet. The deep fried naan bread arrived with apologies for the lateness. 70 minutes from ordering to delivery! The second banquet included tabouleh, hommus, babaganoush. Came with aSINGLE SLICE of NAAN bread to share amongst 3 people. A new low. At 90 minutes in our experience was such that we lost interest. I'd not come back.

BEST VEGETARIAN IN AUSTRALIA!. I can't believe this place hasn't got more votes or reviews! I am a vegetarian, went with my (dedicated carnivore) husband and we were both amazed and blown away! He actually commented that he would never miss meat if he ate at a place like that every day. Everything we tried was so full of flavour and superlatively impressive. I honestly can not recommend the food highly enough!
