Booco - Lismore - Photo album

Read the reviews and it was all true. Delicious and tasty cuisine with unique flavours. We usually steer clear of Asian food because it can have so much sugar but the dishes here were wholesome and fresh and not sweet. Loved the authenticity and it was such good value for money!
The pork adobo ($17) was very tasty and moderately spicy with good portioning. I'd prefer fatter pork pieces, but can't fault a dish for a subjective opinion. Will be back to try other dishes and the leche flan, I hope they'll also have lechon in the future.
Fantastic food and service, it's becoming a regular when visiting Lismore.
Tasty and fresh ingredients cooked in front of you the vegetarian options are excellent and the staff are always friendly
Lovely intimate eatery serving light and hearty meals based on onions, garlic and broth due to the Spanish cultural influence on this Filipino menu. My favourite now is the Bullalo ( beef in broth with vegies) but I'm trying other things on the not too complex but varied menu.
Super authentic laid back no fuss and seats on the street. Smallish shop. The meat dishes are very meaty and plenty of GF options and some good vego. Feels like home style comfort food from Philippines. Always the fresh chilli! Nice people too.
I moved to the area around 2 months ago and found this fantastic little place. The food was fresh, super tasty. The staff were polite and efficient. The location is convenient. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff, impressive chef and delicious flavours. Very reasonable priced. We left wanting more and can't wait to visit BooCo as soon as we have a night in Lismore again. A little hole in the wall type-restaurant well worth a visit.
