We had dinner there last night for the first time. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, and she was very accommodating to our cheeky toddler.
The food was amazing! entrees and mains were out quickly and were delicious. So many good options on the menu. We'll definitely be returning to try more.

Just wanted to say that the food,staff,atmosphere in this place was amazing! Would have to say that the snitzels we ordered were the best we have had. And we have travelled around a bit. Keep up the great work

We ordered the Pork Bao to start and it was absolutely insanely amazing! Little too much parsley for me but you can tell how amazing it is by the fact that I HATE spicy food and I pushed through the spice because the flavour was insane!
I also ordered the Salt and pepper squid. I always risk it when I order this particular meal at places because I HOPE that they batter and cook the squid in house, but unfortunately it wasnt house made.
But everything else was divine and reasonably priced �

I would just like to give a big thankyou to all the staff at The Great Eastern hotel for their excellent service & food for my husband's 60th birthday celebration yesterday. We were a large group and they went out of their way to accommodate and everyone left happy .
Tonight the chef went out his way to cook me something as I am vegan that wasn't even on the menu yet! Safe to say it was delicious, the Quinoa Salad will be on the menu permanently, very happy about that
A great Hotel, in a nice village in the Adelaide hills, located on the main street, good parking, very friendly staff and a good selection of food and beer / wine.
Remember to look at the great mural in the front bar.

Wow what a meal! Had a chicken schnitzel with th GE topping and haven't been that full for a long time...it was a monster! Thanks chef! And a shout out to the top lad who served us(tall bloke with the beard) and the lovely girl that took our kids for a look at the dark dungeon lol(Celler) as they were a bit weary of what was down there 😄 will definitely be back!
Well a couple of things food prices are really good but the toppings on the snitty needs to be a bit more like the garlic prawns 3 prawns and not a enough garlic sauce the snitty was large and very nice the salad what salad not real good at all then they stuft up our order the one thing that really annoyed us was the table service not very good as they wouldn't let us go up to the bar to order like they forgot us so ife give it a 5x10 for service
