Review Valley Thai - Liverpool

Since they renovated this place seems the staff attitude change. I'm about to pay the bills but seems the lady cashier was chatting too long enough to another lady, I gave her a sign of bills. Instead she told me "wait I'm still talking to her"! What the heck!

Had the beef larb, Lao sausages, ox tongue and papaya salad. All dishes were ok but were all missing the wow factor. Affordable and local which is good if you don’t want to travel far for food and you live in the area. Portion sizes a tad on the smaller side which explains the cheaper prices. I’d still prefer to drive an extra 10 mins and pay an additional few dollars and eat in Fairfield/Cabra/Canley though as I think the taste is more authentic.

Excellent curries!! Partner & I ordered Massaman & Red Thai Curry & we were not disappointed! Very big portion size and tasted phenomenal. Pad Thai wasn’t the best but the curries made up for it. Will definitely be coming back. 5 stars.

Solid selection of traditional and western inspired Thai dishes, with portion sizes easily catering to 4+ people. Solid location, and friendly staff. Take away does get a little busy, but rightfully so. Suggestion of sit down or take away any time of the week 👌

I went there after seen those review but way to far from impressed. Overly charged for take menu, regular Chilli-Basil fried rice is way too hot and lack of vegetables, it's just rice, eggs, chicken and few beans. Not going there anymore.

Yum! This place is a pretty good Thai joint in the area. If you’re not bothered to go to Fairfield/cabra, this is a good alternative. I’ve been here when I used to eat meat but also just revisited and got some vegetarian options. Tasted delicious. They can accomodate to vegan so just ask.

While the food at Valley Thai during my recent experience was fine; the service my associates and I received was absolutely appalling. We had arrived and ordered the same dish as a couple who entered in a long while after us, with approximately a 10 minute different in between the time they received their meal versus when we received our (identical) meal meaning there was priority given to other people with absolutely no basis. This leads me to believe these actions were racially motivated, which increases the severity of this review, (I do hope this was not the case). Likewise, the same couple had received their water with accompanying glasses, but when we asked for water we did not receive any glasses. Moreover, our small requests (i.e. asking for a container) met long waiting times, and when the request was 'fulfilled' the item was dirty, I had to request a replacement for a teacup which had evidently not been washed as well as a plastic bag that was stained what seemed to be soy sauce. Albeit, a very unpleasant experience overall, this behaviour (excluding the prioritising of other normal customers) could somewhat be justified if they were busy, but we went on a Monday night, before 7pm and there were only two other individuals being served. I sincerely hope the staff at Valley Thai learn to treat all customers equally, with respect and checks items before erratically giving them to customers. I will not be dining here again.

i will never go there anymore... used to be my fav place but not anymore.. is looks like is under new management... because the OWNER sits in the corner.. was fully drunk... and he put the music too loud (his phone)... and singing too loud. and he staring at my wife two times... and he went outside.. left the door fully opened behind, i went to close the door.. he said: you not alowed to close the door bro.. i said: is too cold.... he shut the door at my face and he kicked the door on his feet two times... he walked in... in same time my son dropped the fone at the table... he came to close said: tell him the table is too expensive... im sure was fully drunk.... and he kept singing while sit in the corner.... thats why the shop was empty... bcoz of this guy.
