Great space (attention to detail on point), freshly sourced produce and seafood, nice to see organic wine and vegetarian options on the menu, staff had good knowledge about the food and wine. Service was attentive, friendly with great style and energy. Best almond mocha I have had in a long time!
Definitely look forward to our next visit with a group of friends!
Absolutely amazing food!! The pizza was incredible the venue is stunning and the staff are awesome! You must have dessert the crème brûlée is insanely delicious
I can't fault anything from the vibe, staff and fitout of the restaurant. The food was amazing I had the Ricotta Gnocchetti which was the highlight for me. You don't come across cocktails that are $12-$14 and expect much however the cocktails are on point . I will be back in a few weeks for dessert .
Came here for my birthday dinner, and had the most lovely dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was fantastic. They were so welcoming and friendly, and made my whole experience all the more enjoyable. Have told everyone and anyone who would listen how much I loved this place. Thanks guys, will definitely be back.
Stopped in for some beers and pizza. What an awesome place, friendly staff and amazed that there is a space like this now available so close to home
I am in love with this place! Incredible food, coffee and cocktails! The staff are full of good vibes and lots of love to give ! Mel, Naz and Johnny made my night !
We thought we would just try something new today so we went to Mac street diners and it was somewhere we would definitely go again!
The pizza and service was amazing and the our server Micheal was very friendly and helpful.
A quick visit to Sydney and our good friends took us to dinner at this fabulous establishment.... food service ambiance couldn't be faulted... OMG what a great restaurant... next trip to sydney I'll be there. Thank you to chef Joe for the wonderful food recommendations and to our friends Raffaele and Antonietta for taking us. Visitors from Bunbury Western Australia...
Fabulous food, wine, fitout, service, and a Liverpool first of craft beer on tap. Emphatically raises the bar for local dining in a major step change improvement.
Great atmosphere! Loved the food and the staff are fantastic great service and very engaging defiantly going to be a repeat customer
Surprisingly to have such a great diner with fantastic food here in Liverpool. Thank you Guys keep doing what you’re doing!!!!
Friendly staff, great food and wine and such a funky decor. I’ll be back!
Went there for the first time and was really impressed. Good layout and well designed. Loved how they had the kitchen in a container, gave it that bit of a rustic feel. Really good service and the food was delicious and exceptional. Had some pizza and spaghetti marinara. They called the marinara old school and it certainly was.
Really great service! Staff are a standout and really suit the vibe and concept. Fresh and amazing tasting food - love that it’s always changing. Nice ambiance and some of the cocktails are great also.
Great food, great staff. Atmosphere and setting is perfect! Will be back with family and friends.
I came to Mac street diner with my boyfriend for dinner for the first time, the staff were all so lovely & the food was amazing such good quality produce. Would definitely recommend & my partner & i will defiantly be returning, thank you very much 😊
Great experience here. Friendly staff and great food recommend the pizzas :) Also the cocktails were a hit. Good place to have dinner, will be back soon👍🏽
Mac Street Diner is turning things up for Liverpool! From the building, to the greeting, decor, the menu, the service and of course the food. I’m back for a 2nd session this weekend and am looking forward to trying their pasta. Last time we got pizza and it took me back to Italy. Allora
Lovely ambience and great vibe! Perfect for a date night and group dining.
Dining area was dim litted, Mac street diner offers an extensive Italian menu, the dishes as designed to be shared so ensure you do choose one of almost everything.
We dined in a large group and got the large banquet menu. Food was delicious! Portions were extremely generous.
Definitely recommend
A local gem! It’s a simple and straight forward menu. Couple of pastas, lots of share plates and a few pizzas to choose from. Already been back twice and recommend it to all my friends.
Visited for dinner on a Sunday night, nice location on Macquarie St with parking spots out front but you can also park on nearby side streets.
Great fitout with ample seating within but we sat and ate at the bar. Their cocktails are delish and so is the food, we went with their Margherita pizza and Gnocchi. Super yummy! Pizza is on a lovely thin crust and pasta was cooked to perfection. Shoestring fries were also tasty and the soft serve affogato was divine! Perfect dessert to wrap up a good meal.
Staff were friendly, food came out in record time and menu pricing was reasonable so I will definitely return for more! Lovely addition to the Liverpool food scene!
Absolutely in love with this place, everything was on point and money’s worth!
After watching tonnes of pizza videos online wishing we were in Italy, we craved for real woodfire pizza and discovered this joint nearby (Thank goodness!). We walked in a bit after Mac Street Diner opened its doors on Sunday, beautiful interior, friendly staff, food came quite fast and everything we had tasted amazing!
We ordered: Margarita Pizza, Carnivora Pizza, Shoestring Fries w/ truffle pecorino and the soft serve Affogato
Just what we craved for, like authentic Italian pizza! Shoestring fries came out hot which melted the truffle pecorino after time and there was the perfect amount of salt. The soft serve Affogato was deliciously creamy! I honestly can’t wait to come back for more and try out their other pizzas, pasta and other dishes. I highly recommend this place!
Such a cute place! Cosy vibes - similar to Grano in Wetherill Pk. We had the arancini balls which were ok, the cheese was not melted as it came out quite cold. Salami and ham pizza, truffle fries (yum), mushroom gnocchi (very tasty) and my favourite the affogato soft serve! The ice cream is so creamy and rich we had to have seconds! Will be back.
Love this place!!! In an off beat place in Liverpool, they have transformed an old garage into a funky hip bar and restaurant. Food is excellent, drinks sooo good and a great atmosphere! Good value for money also. I’ll definitely be a regular here!!!!!
Came here with mates for the Wednesday night $10 pasta special. We shared calamari friti and pizza marinara. Calamari or squid was cooked perfectly. Pizza came out fast and the dough and sauce was really good. And for the pasta special I chose the penne Sicilian (which was a alla norma). You would expect a skimpy serving of pasta, but no. THE PASTA WAS GENOROUS AND AL DENTE! The eggplant was perfectly cooked and the ricotta was also generous. The wine list has a good variety with a decently priced. My glass of imported Chianti was only $10! Service was quick, friendly and professional. Can't believe this hipster diner, which was once a mechanic shop, exist out in the suburbs! Not out in a inner city neighbourhood!

Liverpool’s latest addition: MAC STREET DINER 🍾 everything, from the food and friendly staff, was great 🍕 I’ll definitely be back for more pizza and pasta!! Oh and the Italian cheese burger 🤤🤤🤤
On a Saturday night during the Australian Day long weekend, the restaurant was quite packed and full of diners, however the wait staff were pretty relaxed, friendly and efficient, with our orders coming out fairly quickly – food served fresh and piping hot.
We were quite impressed with the food that we couldn’t resist ordering dessert, so we ordered the soft serve affogato and the coffee creme brûlée.
Great venue with friendly staff and amazing food. I loved the prosciutto and wood fire pizzas were so fresh and delicious.
Will definitely be back to try some other things on their menu.
You eat with your eyes and this was a feast! Rustic cozy venue with quality food at reasonable prices. Stand out dishes were the Prawn Linguine and Affogato Coffee! Good cocktails also

Mac St Diner Review:
Fantastic Italian dining with excellent pizza and great wine.
Food ordered:
Pizza special - pork sausage and truffle.
Arancini, Olives, and Gnocchi. To finish, Tiramisu.
The pizza was great. I like truffles too! It did need a bit of salt in my opinion but the crust and base were excellent. The arancini were delicious. The Gnocchi was great too, light and fluffy and not too heavy with the sauce. The olives... should have been warm! But I ate them all regardless. The tiramisu was delicious and a generous slice I might add.
Ambience:
Our waiter seemed new... he was chugging down a Powerade right next to the bar and then walked over to take our order. It wasn’t particularly great service but the guy who welcomed us in was very warm and funny.
The place is set in a warehouse and still manages to be somewhat cozy for a party of 2. I imagine big family dinners would do well here too.
We will definitely return for more! It’s really great having quality Italian in this area of Sydney.

Such lovely Italian food in the middle of Liverpool. They also serve coffees here. The staff were friendly and allowed us to hold a small baby shower with our friends. The truffle fries and pizza are well worth it.
Great and unexpected to find such an original Italian pizzeria like this one in this side of the city! Cosy and with a very friendly stuff.
Loved the pizza 🍕 and the Spritz Aperol
Great new eatery with high quality food and friendly staff. All pizzas tasted so fresh coming out of the oven and the pastas were very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend
This restaurant has style and a casual class to it. The food was fantastic and there was a delightful range to suit most palates. Highlight, however, were the staff who were attentive, friendly and insightful - they had an intimate knowledge of the food and wines being served and were able to recommend dishes with confidence.
Funky, vibrant atmosphere with good food and attentive service. The wood-fire oven is a bonus!
