Review Mizuki Sushi Liverpool - Liverpool

Terrible! Ordered takeaway and got home to find a pitiful amount of sushi. Exorbitant prices for the quantity and quality. The size is not consistent. The salmon maki rolls had a salmon amounting to a thumbnail size of shaved ham. I have had sushi at many places in the area and this is the worst. Would not recommend this place.

Really lousy food. Rice is hard. They are not interested to serve high standard culinary. The way food is prepared is akin to Maccas, smack rice on seaweed, take some ingredients from a tuberware, roll it up. Tada......Udon? Prepare instant seasoning (I witness it), take out half an egg from tuberware, cook instant udon, assemble, put water. Tada..... There is a cat waiving hand at the counter representing bringing in wealth. Pffff......

Some really tasty sushi here! Loved the salmon sashimi, seared scallop ship and hotate. The seared prawn was also pretty spectacular! There's also cooked options for those who prefer - like chicken and avocado, beef, egg omelette and eel (just to name a few). All seating is along the sushi bar on stools.

I come here ALOT because the ramen is amazing the staff is amazing the musics not to loud but still loud enough to enjoy, the food always taste fresh, no ramen could ever beat the ramen i eat here

The person at the front is not welcoming the same person who makes sushi. The people skill is very poor. He did not wear mask during the time we were there and he is making sushi. He touches door and curtains, fridge handles and containers and he continues to make sushi without changing gloves. The vegetables are wilted, avocado is not fresh. Ordered Ramen and it came out cold. I did not eat the order as I wasn’t satisfied what came out. He spoke in Japanese or Korean I thought, a language that is foreign to my ears, when another personnel came out and by the sound of it he was talking about ramen and look at me side way. The rice of the sushi is gluey. Overall, I’ll say that we will never come back for our sushi. We went to another sushi bar and our experience was very satisfying, udon came out piping hot and there are lots of varieties and a lot fresher

Walked in 7:30. Empty and not even greeted by the two chefs. They talked to each other for ages louder then my own conversation with my freind. Couldnt get their attention for any help at all. Food was less then mediocre. I had low expectations but this was a slap in the face

Worst service ever. And the food doesn't make up for it. A customer left and she seated us at the table that hadn't yet been cleaned. After she took the previous customers plates, she didn't bother wiping the table with crumbs and leaked soysauce before she set the table. And then she didn't give us soy sauce bowls until we had to ask. Seating was also inefficient, they didn't seat customers next to each other during lunch time so there were seats of one in between every customer. This meant that groups of 2 aren't able to be seated. The sushi was particularly bland given the price. Sushi chains serve better sushi. They also overcharged us for sushi and had to correct when we pulled them up on it. When you go to sushi train and order from the menu, it is expected they make it fresh. But the waiter/chef literally took it from the train. Could've done that ourselves.

This place is below standard, not clean, chefs have dirty coats & very $ for the whole experience.

The best Japanese food and service in the Liverpool area or even Western Sydney! 5th time here and never dissapoints. Definitely recommend =) Everytime I am here, you can see the passion in the heads chef food preparation.

Been visiting for a two weeks. First place I tried sushi. The chefs are really nice and friendly. Food is great with variety. The loyalty program makes it rewarding for those who are returning often. I will have to try the ramen soon. Hope they stay on top of their game for a long time coming

2.5 ⭐️
This joint was just average. We ordered the pork bone broth ramen with chashu pork. It wasn’t too bad - the chashu was lightly smoked which was nice but the broth itself was very subtle. The noodles didn’t soak up any of the broth so our ramen tasted quite bland. The sushi train was also quite average but I really enjoyed the seared scallop dishes. Decent place in to get sushi in Liverpool but I personally wouldn’t return. Total was $55 which I found a bit pricey for the quality.

My boyfriend and I always come to Mizuki for - local ramen fix. We’ve been coming for almost two years and still the same chef serves us so kindly. Our go to is the tonkatsu broth (pork base) which is the perfect touch of creamy paired with the chicken teriyaki. We actually put our chicken into the broth to allow the spread of flavour... yum!

This is by far one of the best Japanese restaurant in the area! Great friendly service and meals can be made to order. My 2 kids and I r very fussy with what we eat and how its been cooked, and they were happy to accommodate us and get it right 90% of the time!!! Unlike other places where they get our order wrong! There are alot of variety to choose from. You just have to look at the menu and order instead of waiting for the train! The black spider roll is my favorite, which you cant find anywhere else! Grill praws on its own is nice too. Ramen and udon is authentic!! They use fresh quality ingredients not 2min noodles like most other places! However all these dishes mentioned above must be order so waiting time can be an issue. At times they are a bit slow. The place is a bit plain small, not quite the place I'll hang out with my friends, but good for family dinner or to eat on my own.
Prices are not cheap but then i dont mind paying if the food is great! Have been coming back at least once a fortnight for the last 4months.

Mizuki Sushi was decorated nicely and felt welcoming. The sushi was good, not amazing but still good. However I reckon it was too over priced. I had the shoyu ramen as well and it was great! I really enjoyed the soy and ginger broth. Will come again. Better than sushi bay in my opinion.

When it comes to sushi in Liverpool, choice is pretty much limited to either sushi shops in Westfield, sushi bay and now Mizuki sushi. I was very excited for the opening of this place as Liverpool is in great need of a good sushi restaurant considering sushi bay isn't that great and extremely overpriced. I was even more excited when i heard their menu included ramen, something not easily available in Liverpool's array of restaurants. Mizuki sushi is however even more disappointing than sushi bay and just as overpriced.
The restaurant was empty when we arrived so being seated and served immediately was a given. We ordered two chicken katsu ramen in tonkatsu broth and started helping ourselves to the sushi going around on the conveyor belt. All the sushi other than the lion roll was very average (sushi bay offers more exciting variety) with nothing really phasing me. In the end, i opted for ordering a few servings of the lion roll to eat whilst I waited for the ramen. Which took fairly long to come to me as the service was really slow despite us being the only customers in the shop. The ramen was even more disappointing than the sushi. It neither smelt or tasted delicious. In fact, the ramen tasted like nothing at all. It was like consuming noodles in hot water. There was no trace of tonkatsu flavour whatsoever in the broth.
We ended paying roughly $80 for two people (we like to eat a lot of sushi) but we hardly feel the food was worth the price. We normally do not mind paying for good food whatever the cost as long as it is enjoyable and the food here was far from that. We left the restaurant wishing we had just gone to sushi bay instead. Chances of us returning here in the near future are at the moment very slim to none.
