Went for dinner with my friends(6 of us) on Sunday. Was our first visit to this place n to be frank, we had doubts on our choice initially coz the place was empty for a Sunday night!! Since we choose this place based on Google reviews😀we placed our orders n prayed while we waited... But to our pleasant surprise, everything went on very well! Meat n Fish were cooked properly n very delicious! Dish portion sizes were ample as well. Service was prompt n in the end the chef came down to our table for a chat! Overall, very happy with the place n will visit again with family 👍🏼 Thanks folks @ Riverside, you made our day.

We first tried Riverside last night and ordered Dahl Masala, Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma. I ordered mild, but there was definitely some kick. I love spice, but my wife has a very low tolerance. The food we ordered was that good, that she ate through the heat and kept raving about how good it was. The chef even left a note saying that if mild was too hot to ask for extra mild. We'll definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommended.

Overall a dissatisfying experience. We were greeted by a friendly staff however the restaurant was very large and empty and made us feel very awkward with the staff looking at us and laughing loudly every now and then. The food portions were small for the prices charged and the waiter made comments regarding how little food we ordered. There was also a $10 overhead charge per person that was not indicated on any signs or explained to us till we were half way into our meal. Not the worst experience but I would not be rushing back anytime soon.

Ordered pick up meal. Very friendly manager. Offered me a pappadum while I was waiting. Quite a busy place, even though it looks a little derelict from the main road. Food was great. They would've got 5 stars but they forgot my basmati rice in the order. Other than that, very nice.

Went on a Sunday night. It was empty. Us and one other group. The lady serving was friendly and helpful. The mild was hotter than we expected but the flavors were ok. Naan bread was good. Odd location and the sign out the front wasn't working, looked quite run down from the outside. Unlikely to go back.

Good quality & really tasty food, but severly lacking in customer service & the upkeep of the restaurant. The staff is not helpful, caring only about the bill & extra charges wherever possible. Its better to replace them with a 'self service kiosk' as we see in McDonalds. Overall not a good value for money as compared to other restaurants.

Me and my family were in Sydney for a weekend and were looking for an Authentic Indian restaurant. And this restaurant came up on the top of the Google list. We went there to give a try. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. For starters we had Chicken Tikka and Seekh kebabs which were too good and were cooked to perfection and for mains we ordered Butter Chicken, Paneer Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh. All three items were mouthwatering. Everything was amazingly cooked. Quantity was also good. Sawan and staff members, keep up the hard work. God Bless JD

- Great service - Always get complimentary papadam with yogurt and chutney dips - freshly cooked dishes, so you do have to wait for a bit to get the food on your table, but it's worth the wait. - lots of flavour, delicious traditional Indian food. - well priced - the decor is a bit old but we go for the great food :)

We got take away tonight, Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh - beautiful meals, so full of flavour and the meat was so tender. So glad we finally have found a good Indian restaurant close to home.

Been there before so many times and was extremely happy. Tonights take away was so disappointing Chicken Tikka was raw and butter chicken was not mild like i ordered and confirmed it with the guy on the phone.

Looks are DEFINITELY deceiving with this restaurant! For years I had been driving past it & never thought to check it out- until one night my friend took me here and although I was sceptical at first, I have now been back several times since. There's usually no one else dining in (and only a few take away orders), but nonetheless the food is always delicious! Some really great entrees and the butter chicken is delicious. Cheese naan is great too! Don't judge a book by its cover and check this place out

For a restaurant that is often quite empty we always find the food here to be of high quality. We have eaten here multiple times and ordered takeaway, the meals have always been of high quality and very authentic.

Service is attentive and polite, generally a good experience.

Looks are very deceiving with this place, may look very empty as its so large but the food is great. A lot of flavour in the curries but not a big selection with the desserts. As its made to order there is a bit of a delay with the food so I suggest getting appetisers. If you are having a party here the parking is very limited and you may have to park up on the grass next door. The chef here also does a lot of catering for functions onsite.

Best Indian in a long time.. Great Indian meal. Best in a long time. Perfect Lamb Saag. Beautiful fluffy rice. Prompt friendly service. Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Great food and great service! I took my family for Mother's Day and we ordered the banquet, there was way more food than we can possibly eat. The naan bread was fresh and superb, honestly couldn't fault the place we had such a good time. Great food, great service and great value. Definitely coming back again
