Been coming to taste since I started working at Liverpool Hospital. It's the only Cafe I go to in this hospital. Quality food and coffee every time, but by far the best aspect is the staff. Every occasion I have been there I'm greeted by amazing and friendly staff. Lynn is absolutely amazing, smile on her face every single interaction. This is the kind of service that sets cafes apart. Although it gets incredibly busy during peak hours the staff always get through the orders at a very fast rate. You are rarely ever left waiting for more than a couple of minutes.

Would give a zero star if I could. Ordered my usual - a small flat white with soy milk. When my order was called out it was a small latte with soy milk. Told the barista and he was happy to make a flat white instead (would like to note that my milk was burnt). Out of nowhere the older Asian lady who served me yells at me in front of everyone. That 1. she heard latte, and 2. a latte is pretty much the same thing as a flat white. And she continues to murmur this. She was so rude, arrogant, and made me felt very embarrassed as I was surrounded by other customers. I am so upset by my experience and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Mind you you're located in the hospital. I have been going through so much I would expect much more from the service. I was so shaken and am ashamed for not standing up for myself. I should have gotten a refund! This was such poor experience.

Honestly the food and drinks are so good here! Love their baguettes! Love their coffee! The avo smoothie is delicious! And seriously you MUST try their bacon and egg rolls, they’re the best bacon and roll I’ve had! They’re also very handy with coffee phone orders, cuts down having to wait for your order! Service is fast and efficient nonetheless despite how busy it gets

After waiting for a while, was provided with the wrong order of drink and had to come back and tell the person working about it. Instead of apologising the old lady was very rude and unprofessional saying that it was my fault for getting the wrong order as it was my responsibility to get the right order??? She did not apologise about it. The absolute worst customer service and very rude lady that is serving customers. It is a rip off as well for charging $3.50 for the tiniest croissant that is burnt and hard to bite into. Very disappointed.

I have been going to Taste in the hospital for over a year. I was loyal of the early Taste Baguette shops like Macquarie Uni. Their food can be OK but I'd much prefer some grilled/toasted options like if they did panninis. The problem with this Taste is a couple of staff really rush everyone and can be ruder than just that. One particular lady is very rude and after the way she acted today, I'm going to wait an extra hour in the morning until Jamaica Blue opens to get proper service and much nicer breakie. The thing is that this lady seems nice to some people -remembering their names and acting friendly but I have seen her been very rude to most others.
