Decent cafe food, fresh salad and tasty but VERY oily toasted sandwiches. They made a mistake with our order and missed a dish but they quickly rectified and the service was good. Could do with more veggie options.

To be honest I love DiBella Coffee and albeit I had a decaf it was good. The pancakes were a bit of a rip for the price as tasted like the shake and make ones though.
Partner had the bacon and egg Turkish bread and he said he liked it. Lorne is ok for food but standards are a lot lower than Melbourne.
I eat here on a regular basis and love the freshly squeezed juices and the variety in the menu. The pork roll is just amazing. Watch out for the wraps as sometimes they've been sitting in the fridge all day and can be soggy.
Every school holidays my family go to Lorne and we are never disapointed with the food at Lorne Larder. Not only is the food DELICIOUS but the staff provide EXCELLENT service ! Personally my favourite meals at Lorne Larder are the 'Turkish Pide' and the 'Pancakes'. We stay at the Cora Lynn apartments just down the road from Lorne Larder so it's nice to ride by and get a friendly wave hello! Lorne Larder also make freshly squeezed juices. My favourite is the 'Paradiso' (made from Pineapple, Mango and Orange). Lorne Larder is without a doubt the best eatery in town! I rate Lorne Larder five stars.

This was a really pleasant surprise, I have pretty high standards when it comes to eating out for breakfast and this one slotted right up there with some high level spots back in Melbourne.
Strongly suggest having the "Turkish" as it was undoubtedly the best egg and bacon sandwich I have ever had. I will be getting this anytime I am down Lorne way.
In Lorne camping for one night with one breakfast and most importantly, morning coffee to account for - went off Urban Spoon and was proved accurate!

After a terrible experience I suffered at another Lorne Cafe, I was willing to give up hope of finding decent coffee in the area. Needing my arvo coffee fix I reluctantly decided to give Lick & Sip a go and I must say it was a experience that reiterated my hopes that a good ole cup of Joe is possible in Lorne..Food was excellent and staff friendly and welcoming..Will def be back for more!
By far the best coffee in Lorne da Bella coffee and they really know how to make a good coffee. service was great the owner was very friendly. We also had the soup which was beautiful.
Best meal we've had in Lorne. On our last day we stopped off for two big breakfasts, and two eggs with bacon - we couldn't fault it! Great big servings and delicious flavours. Great coffee too. Reasonably priced and friendly service. All around very impressed.
Great spot! Stopped on our way through, just for coffee but the slices were to tempting. we were assured they were home made ave certainly tasted it. Delicious! Ended up staying for lunch and the three meals we shared were great.

Recommend for a brekky and coffee. Big breakfast with scrambled eggs was good and loved the sourdough. The poached eggs on toast were cooked perfectly.
Their ice cream and hot chocolate was great so only do take away. When we ordered in they forgot about our order and we were waiting for 25 minutes . However, they were apologetic and offered us a cake.
Great spot for breakfast/brunch or to grab something quick and healthy if you're on the go (not the easiest to do in lorne). this cruisy little cafe takes pride in good coffee and plenty of menu items are homemade.
Best banana smoothie!!. One of the most delicious and fresh banana smoothies I've had! Can't wait to sample some more from the huge menu :) yum!
Had a flat white and brekky roll (double bacon egg lettuce BBQ) both were delicious! Highly recommend the brekky roll, flat white a little warm, excellent customer service with some humor

Lorne larder is a beautiful little cafe that serves all day breakfast along side an awesome lunch menu.
Meal was mouthwatering and melted in the mouth. Staff were friendly and service was fantastic.
Nice area out front of cafe to sit and have a meal whilst taking in the scenery and watching the many cockatiel flying around.
Prices are reasonable.
Chips are awesome.
Deliciousness in a cup.

Lorne Larder
Another place situated across the road from the Mantra, near hiking paths and of course, the beach is Lorne Larder. Had the honour of meeting one of the owners, Cathy, who took management over, about 18months ago. The staff are hard-working and care about regulars and tourists alike.
This isn’t ‘just a cafe’, but offers much more: toasties, bagels, salads, granola cups, muesli, bacon and egg Turkish rolls, cakes, slices, homemade lasagne, to name a few. They even sell small plants and succulents in cute pots and fabric pot covers - wish they had them when I visited! [Another reason to return!!]
Whether you eat in, grab and go or try their grazing/catering boxes, great for picnics by the beach or sustenance for road trips, you won’t be disappointed by the selection or quality of food delivered. Drop-in and support this lovely cafe.

Abhishek in particular - most courteous, attentive, comedic and friendliest person you’ll ever meet - always serving with a smile and happy to stay around for a few minutes to ensure you’re completely happy with your serving experience. Give this man a raise!
