I've been to stix and stones a few times. Loved every time I went. Never disappointed.
The food is amazing. Both yummy and presentation beautiful.
My casual visits with friends and family were great. Loved the atmosphere. The cocktails were yummy too.
We loved it here so much we had my daughters 18th there with about 40 guests. It was perfect. The food service everything was just the best. Nothing was too hard. The management were fantastic. The waiting staff we had were awesome too

I came here one morning for brunch with a friend. Long story short, we waited almost an hour for our food & the mistake was discovered that our order had been misplaced somewhere in the kitchen.
The staff were extremely apologetic, promptly organised the food & told us they would wipe our bill. That gesture was much appreciated! We did not expect that at all, so thank you.

Lovely atmosphere and venue. The garden bar is very family friendly and plenty of room. We ate inside and the food was very reasonably priced and tasted great. Staff were friendly and efficient. Could become a regular haunt. Highly recommend.
Made a last min booking and was pleasantly surprised at service and friendliness from staff. They were very attentive to special requests, ensured all was to our satisfaction, which it was. Food was awesome, prices are very reasonable for such a great place, grounds are very stylish and fit for families with young children and for young adults at the same time!! Plenty of parking, beautiful gardens, plenty for kids to do. Would highly recommend :)

Visited last night for the first time. All of our wait staff were wonderful, especially the 2 waitresses we had. Introduced themselves to us, and checked on us regularly. Our meals were all wonderful. I had the open lamb souvlaki. Oh my, I could cut the lamb with my fork, it was so tender. Teamed that with a strawberry daiquiri moktail....yum. Finished with the crumble and coffee, and left completely full and satisfied! The venue is gorgeous. The service and food, wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Can’t believe I have never been to this restaurant previously! When I first arrived I noticed how lovely the location and interior of the restaurant was. Great place to go with friends especially if you are a bigger group. I went for a work dinner and the service was on point, they made sure everyone was taken care of and all the waitresses were very friendly.
The menu has a great variety including vegan and gluten free alternatives, plus the dish prices are reasonable. Majority of us selected pasta (gnocchi, spaghetti and lasagna) and a variety of pizza flavours with many bowls of chips on the side. I went for the pesto gnocchi which was very soft and flavoursome. Was left a little bit hungry and actually would have liked more since I enjoyed the dish so much.
If you are after some great food and cocktails this is definitely the place!
We enjoyed a fuss free, tasty dinner with our toddler here. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy (Melb Cup Day), which suited us fine as it allowed some space for our son to move about without disturbing anyone else. The service was attentive and quick. They have a standard kids menu (though don't have kids sized cutlery so BYO). With a surcharge of $3pp on public holidays it wasn't the cheapest (and they did inform us at time of booking). The meal sizes were generous so the overall value isn't bad. They have pumped a lot into the indoor and outdoor decor here making it feel pretty cool. maybe we went on a quiet day, but it's good for a nice night out with the family.
Three of us arrived on a Saturday night and they were very busy. We were quickly seated and were introduced to a lovely waitress that was able to have a bit of a laugh with us throughout the evening. We started with some garlic focaccia that was great as were the fried calamari. We had a coupe of the pan grilled salmon that was cooked perfect as was the pork ribs. For dessert the creme brulee was classic and my apple pie was one of the best I've ever eaten. It's a little noisy inside but there is ample spacing between tables to give a little privacy. Will certainly return as we were very happy with the evening, the food and the service.
Very nice location and very beautiful outside area. The decor inside isn’t the greatest (it’s a little passé) but let’s be honest, people read/write reviews for the food and not so much the decor. The food was beyond yummy and the prices are quite competitive with other restaurants in the area. I would definitely eat here again.
Being local, we had been to the 2 previous restaurant incarnations on this site, so we were curious to check out version #3. Went early with husband and 2 kids and no booking, which was not an issue. Staff were unfailing polite and helpful for the whole visit. (Because I am, like, ancient, I remarked to my husband that our waiter was ‘a very nice young man’. And so he was). Making a dish DF for one of us was achieved with minimal fuss. All meals were prompt and delicious. Great option for family dinner out. Well done to the owners.
Firstly, there are great vibes at Stix and Stones.
We both ordered the chicken salad (sprout and farm), and although very tasty, the amount of chicken provided was lacking.
Otherwise, the venue was great, as were the staff and the service. Will be back.

Lovely scenery to look out on from any of the tables as the walls are glass windows on the outlook of the restaurant! Loved the Chicken Skewer was delicious, a great place to celebrate any event or just a friendly catch up. Looking forward to coming back and getting the share platter!
What a lovely dining experience. Jess, our waiter was so attentive and caring as well as all other staff on the floor tonight. Food was simply beautiful. We ordered a Parma, Double Cheeseburger and finished with the Apple Pie and Chocolate Brownie. Sorry we didn’t get any photos, it just looked so good we couldn’t stop for photos. Can’t wait to come back and bring our families.
Generally the food was pretty good I thought as did everyone on the table.
- Started with calamari, farmers sausage, chicken wings (good size well cooked and good flavour) all were good.
- Pizza has beautiful flavour but base was way to soggy and you couldn’t even pick it up
- Beef short ribs, pork ribs and beef skewer all really tasty and well cooked 8.5/10
- Brisket was waaaaaaay too dry as you can see by the photo and the Parma was ok, bit strange on the flavor.
- MAC cheese was a bit runny and tasted like packet Mac cheese (which is not entirely a bad thing as packet Mac cheese is ok)
Nice setting inside and out, service was friendly and drinks always come quickly which is nice!
Great, chill vibe in a beautiful setting. I can see myself sitting outside in the sunshine with some drinks and some beautiful food. Service is attentive and friendly although food does take some time to come out, it’s nearly perfect when it does. Highly recommend the feasting platter if you like your meat!
Came here for dinner on a Thursday night. Love the ambience of this place.. the restaurant itself is beautiful and can definitely imagine going to their outside area on a weekend for drinks! 😍 Staff were really friendly and never seemed frazzled or stressed.. always gave us their full attention and with big smiles too!
I got the Double Cheeseburger for $25. It was filling, cooked well and the flavour was delicious. I do think it was a bit overpriced just for a burger and fries though.. Other’s on my table got pastas (which were very reasonably priced) and they said their meals were good.
I had the creme brûlée for dessert and omg.. delicious! Portion was just right, beautiful crack when digging in, and it was so smooth and creamy! So yummy 😋
Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
Went here on Wednesday night for the first time , and we really loved it . We had the feasting plate and was not disappointed - really delicious!!
The only negative points were , the wait just after ordering and the coffee . Desert was yummy . So we will be back for sure !! And keep up the good work !
Popped into Stix & Stones on a busy Friday night. Booking just one day before, we could only get an 8.30pm booking. Upon arrival, the place is hidden but the decor is super pretty with the outdoor area lit up by fairy lights. Staff were welcoming and friendly!
What we ordered: 2 x main serve Greek Salad w/ chicken, Beef Ribs, 2 x entree sized calamari and a side of chips. Food was delicious, we all enjoyed each flavoursome option. The Beef ribs and Greek Salad w/ chicken were definite winners!
One of us is coeliac and the staff were very attentive in assisting us with what was / what wasn’t gluten free. May be helpful if this was listed on the menu to save the hassle of finding out.
The staff kindly offered to spilt the bill for us but then swapped staff mid way through transactions which caused a lot of confusion. We ended up paying a little more than we should have but due to nice service, we didn’t mind this time.

Firstly absolutely loved the look of the restaurant from the outside, was so beautiful and inviting!
i came for dinner with some friends and as i walked into the restaurant i was greeted straight away by the extremely friendly staff members! i was told that a waitress would be looking after our table specifically which i thought was so great! the staff asked if i had been to the restaurant before and made a big effort to talk to me about their menu and general conversation!
the menu didn’t state gluten free options but as soon as i asked the staff about what options they asked if i was intolerant or coeliac and i thought it was so great they cared so much about a really important dietary requirement as i am coeliac! the waitress was able to tell me what they could do for me and said they can double check to be 100% sure!
i ended up going with the greek salad and i added chicken to it plus a serve of grilled calamari! i absolutely LOVED the salad!!!!! it was so fresh and packed with flavour and such a generous portion! i was so full after the salad but it was amazing and i would go back for more!!! hands down best salad ive ever had! my friends were very happy with their meals also!

I went on a Sunday - was busy. Lovely deck out the front would be glorious on a spring day! I had lamb souvlaki and I can honestly say it was the best piece of lamb I've ever had. EVER. Beautifully marinated and melted in my mouth. Coffee was flavoursome and strong. Good wine list. Went with a large group. All enjoyed their meals. A lovely place to sit back with a bottle of champers and enjoy the afternoon sun. Lots of parking out the back. Service was good and attentive.
It was generally a pleasant experience. The restaurant is located in a big block of land, has a playground for kids, and a beautiful view to the green surrounding. The staff were friendly. The chicken wings and the double cheese burger were both superb. The newyorker steak was a bit dry for a medium done, but it can occur occasionally in the best restaurants. I definitely recommend it for a family-oriented, casual dining.
Great menu and venue. Place for the kids to run around. Food is varied. Sometimes hard to get a table on weekends, so book in advance! Try any of the smoke meat dishes.
A gorgeous venue with plenty of space inside and out. Can’t wait to try it during spring/ summer time. Parking is available onsite and on the main road. We went for lunch and some of us had the lunch special, a main and a dessert for $35 including a drink. What a great deal!
We tried the lamb pizza, the Margherita pizza, the open souvlaki, the double cheeseburger and the WAGYU FARMER’S SAUSAGE SKEWER. For dessert we tried the apple pie with ice cream.
Only feedback was the bottom half of the double cheeseburger was cold. The rest of us enjoyed our meals and service was excellent. All staff were very friendly and attentive.

Ordered a brisket and a rumpeye steak for lunch. Great overall value for money the whole meal worth double drinks coated 70 aud per person. The staff were very friendly and experienced and the food was to die for. Would definitely go there again
Craved for cakes, we had carrot cake and cheesecake, though a tiny bit pricey but the flavour was just lovely! Would highly recommend their cakes!
Met a friend here bc I’ve been keen to try it & had two kids with me-the idea of them going out of earshot to play appealed.
The play space lived up to expectations despite wet weather but the coffee & cake definitely did not.
Coffee was ordinary at best & cake may have been presented for social media but it was just a lump of cold cake I could have got at coles for 1/3 the price.
Service isn’t bad necessarily-no one was rude to us-but there’s no warmth at all. Little things like being told we could on have our table for an hour presumably bc they were busy but then at the end of that hour there were literally half a dozen empty tables around us.
It’s a restaurant(/bistro), not a cafe, which was my mistake, I might go for a wine and meal but not for a coffee again.
So my mum heard raves from her girlfriends about their experiences with Stix and Stones, so it was only fitting that I shout her lunch as a Mother’s Day treat. We were promptly seated near the window to take in the views and we loved the decor - fell in love with the tiling on the bar. Our service throughout our lunch was lovely, yet attentive - the staff kindly recommending dishes and keeping an eye on us in regard to waters and drinks. We ordered the chicken skewer with salad and the pie with chips - not a word was said (ha ha) Was rather impressed with the presentation of the chicken skewer - the expectation being two skewers on a plate accompanied by the salad on the side, so kudos to the chefs for a fab arrangement there. A lovely place to come to so would recommend for a girls’ luncheon or date night - thanks Stix and Stones! 😍
Very happy to discover that they don't charge extra for gluten free bases for their pizzas. It was also one of the better ones we have had, thin and crispy without being flakey and falling to pieces. The Coeliac one and I split a Mediterranean pizza (chicken and avocado on a pizza, yum!) which had a delicious tomato sauce, and just a hint of chilli, not enough to burn, but enough so that you would notice it was there. We tried the smoothies - Bananarama and a Blueberry one (not a hope of me being able to type the name it had) which were also quite nice. We called in lateish on a Friday night and it was still crowded. My only gripe is that it was quite loud, you can see that they have tried with some soundproofing, but there were too many people and not enough soft furnishings. I have put this on my "I must come back on a spring day" list, as the outdoor area looked lovely.
Gorgeous place!!!!! Love the setting amongst the trees, away from the city hussel and bussel! Amazing wood fired margarita pizza and nutella calzone to die for.... cant visit without getting one! Definitely will be back. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
For a Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, I was impressed at how busy it was. The staff were very attentive and despite the crowd, our table was serviced very well. The parking can be a little tricky so don’t be surprised if you need to get a spot out on the main street.
Food was very nice, no complaints here. If and when they can open the outdoor area again it will give the atmosphere a big boost as it can get very noisy inside when it’s more than half full.
I haven’t got anything bad what so ever to say about Stix and stones. So tasty, great service, great food and a great experience.
Pork ribs amazing by the way. So much flavour that you dream about it nights after.

Loved, loved, loved this place.....From the driveway, to the car park, into the entrance. The decor is warm, rustic with some ‘quirky’ on the side and is ‘family friendly’. Everything has been done with excellence.
The staff looked like they wanted to be there and everyone had a smile on their face. I love a place where the workers like to be.
The food lived up to my friends hype (she knows I am fussy) I had the vegetarian breakfast & a most perfect coffee. I couldn’t be happier spending time whiling away the day.

What a great venue. We went on a Friday night and from the moment we walked in we felt like VIP's. We ate inside ordered a few starters and a steak each. I am not one who usually orders Salad but to mix it up and with full knowledge i could steal my partners chips I was pleasantly surprised. Not a cheap night out if you are dining inside but worth it for the well prepared food and great service.
We will certainly be back so Thank you so much to Management and your staff.

Recently had dinner here with the family. The staff were great - diverse, genuine and very friendly and warm. We had an issue with my mums sparkling (our fault) and they rectified it with a smile and no problem. The meat here was absolutely delicious, large generous serves and very tasty! You can only choose chips or salad with your meal so it does get expensive getting a side. Sauces are also extra which is not idea. I think both the chips and salad could be slightly better - maybe a bit more rustic type chips for instance. The place is busy so very, very loud indoors and there are not enough carparks. We had to park quite some distance away which was fine but something to be aware of. They also really, really need to add a vegetarian main meal. My daughter had to have a salad which wasn't great, heavy on the dressing and way too many sprouts and only a side size. Just have a big salad option guys!!
However, we will be back keep up the good work :)
Had the rump cap steak medium rare, delicious and perfectly cooked. Also kicked on with a few drinks at the container bar. Perfect spot to grab a nice dinner with a group and head to the bar for drinks after. The bar menu also looked well stocked with burgers, chips and pizza.
Great atmosphere & experience. Enjoyed food & good to have a large menu. Will be back..
