Tummy pepper-steak pie and friendly staff!
My daughter has been travelling for nearly a year and is currently doing farm work in Loxton.I wanted to make her birthday special and The Country Bakehouse did just that! It was no trouble at all to arrange a lovely cake and sandwiches which Tim delivered to my daughter. Thank you so so much it was all wonderful and made her day X� (All done from the other side of the world via the Internet and email �)
Best chicken and mushroom pies in SA. We always stock up and take them home to get us through til the next visit up to Loxton. Sausage rolls are bloody great too!
I always go to the Country Bakehouse when I'm in the riverland. Great coffee and Fantastic food. I love the plain pie and the pastie roll, but I will happily mix it up. Pictures of a beef cheese and bacon pie with a pastie roll.
I went there this morning for a dirty chai.

Popped in for a coffee but didn’t realize how delish it is! Lots of freshly baked goodies, bread and desserts.
Coffee is delish and strong, probably one of the best coffee in town/ neighbour of towns in the area.
I ordered the daily special of the Bruschetta, only $7.50 and it was huge!! Love love love.
Plenty of seating with the booths, great for workers stopping by with laptop. Each booth has a PowerPoint also.
Second time I've found a sausage roll that tastes amazing without having to kill it with sauce. Amazing pies and snag roll, great range of foods, drinks, baked goods and it smells delicious when you walk in! Definitely will come back again.
Stopped for morning a found this gem of a bakery. Great coffee and cakes. The best custard tart I have ever had and that's saying something. Also spotted cream horns in the cabinet. Not seen those for years.highly recommended bakery stop.
