Never had a bad dish from this place. Everything has always been so flavoursome & reasonably priced. The staff is also very friendly. Better than every asian style restaurant in the area for sure!
Their food has never failed so far. Very very good. Hood service as well..
Perfect for craving Malaysian cuisine! Love their staff attentive and friendly. Recommend hainan chicken rice/ noodles was delicious indeed.
We stumbled upon this lovely Malaysian restaurant in Lyndhurst called Asiana Kitchen. This is one of those hidden gems far away from the CBD. The lady running the show originates from Ipoh, Malaysia and she was great at giving us suggestions.
We had a variety of dishes. The beef rendang was quite spectacular. The meat was tender and there was a spicy kick in the sauce. They also had Hainanese chicken with bean sprouts which was simply delicious. The fried beans were crunchy but the highlight was the char kuey teow, probably one of the best I've had. Unfortunately I was so mesmerised by it that I forgot to take a photo!
The banana fritter was serviceable.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at Asiana Kitchen and we are already planning our next visit!
Looks quite big from the outside but upon walking in cozy! Great options, friendly service. Potentially one of the best beef dishes(beef and veggies) I have had. All ingredients so fresh, tasty not to
Mention tender! The curry puffs also delicious! These guys are generous with their servings at low prices! I was very impressed and cant wait to go back!
Came here for dinner with some overseas visitors from Singapore ... they love it !! Dishes are very authentic Malaysian and reasonably priced. Roast duck was excellent ... very crispy on the outside, but very juicy on the inside !! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family !! We will be back !! Note : If you are coming here for your lunch, don't forget to try the Roast Duck Noodles ... very tasty !!
This review is a long overdue but, the best ones come little late sometimes isn't it? Me and my friend were in the neighborhood and his cousin took us to this place for having this delicious lunch. I was pretty new to Melbourne and this place was very far away from the CBD. There were not so many people at the store but, he strongly recommended to have food from here. Turns out, he wasn't wrong!
We tried Chicken Skewers for Entree, Beef and Vegetables with Cashew nuts, Poached Chicken Dumpling with Szechuan Chilli oil, Combination Crispy Noodles. The Beef and Vegetables with Cashew and Chicken Dumpling is definitely going to be must try items in here. The skewers were garnished using pineapple pieces, a very good combination. It was very delicious and cooked to perfection. The Noodles had some prawns and was very delicious. We also had some plain rice.
The best thing about this place is, the food is very delicious, has a good parking space, the pricing is very good, in fact very cheap compared to similar restaurants in Melbourne. The place was well maintained and the old lady was very friendly.
Food here is fantastic. Rarely do you get these type of dishes, this tasty and quickly served. Sizzling Tofu, Kung Po Chicken and Eggplant with Chicken.

Have eaten at a lot of Malaysian restaurants over the last 20 years and this is clearly one of the best. Char Keow Teoh is perfect, honey chilli chicken ribs are to die for. Everything on the menu is great as is the service from the friendly staff. We order 5 dishes each week which costs $52, incredible value.
This restaurant is amazing!!!!!!!! Try their Nasi Lemak, Calamari, Chicken Curry, Roti, Fried Butter Chicken, Banana Fritta, Sago Pudding, Coconut rice, Duck Fried Rice and everything. It is worth the visit and the people are very friendly and the service is on point. I have taken family and friends here and they loved the food. Very welcoming and reminds me of home.
I love this place . The people and the food .
They make their food really yummy and serve it in time always !!! The Malaysian Chinese is to die for !!
Authentic Malaysian restaurant that’s a hidden gem in the south eastern suburb.
We came here for the first time for dinner and was impressed with the service and food served.
Ambience:
Spacious little restaurant that caters for small to medium size groups.
The restaurant is clean and inviting.
Service:
Friendly, welcoming and accomodating.
Food:
We ordered Char Kway Teow, Mee Goreng and Salt and pepper tofu.
The serving sizes were huge and great value for money.
Most importantly, the taste was authentic and flavoursome.
I would highly recommend the Char Kway Teow.
I would definitely come back again to try the other dishes.
We love coming to this hidden gem! One of the most authentic malaysian restaurant in Melbourne . We enjoy the chau Kueh teow & salt & pepper tofu dish. Really everything they cook! They are accommodating to vegetarians & vegans too! Best service & food ! Thank you asiana !
Wow! Brilliant discovery - best Hainanese Chicken in Melb!! Food is authentic and delicious. Service is friendly and price is reasonable. Baby/child friendly restaurant. Definitely coming back for more yummy food!!
Been referred to this restaurant by family because the original chef of Kotajaya moved here. Glad I gave it a try!
Don’t let the middle of nowhere vibes fool you, this restaurant is a hidden gem! We had the stir fried sambal kangkung with coconut rice and coconut butter prawns, they were super delicious! The sambal kangkung was exploding with the delicious sambal taste and the prawns were deep friend with a crusty exterior. Be sure to try chunks of the deep fried butter, you won’t regret it.
The coconut butter prawn and sambal kangkung are their signature dishes, you can’t miss trying them! The price is reasonable and the staff are generally friendly. Because it’s a small restaurant, it’s easy to get their attention.
Highly recommend! Would love to drop by again to try their other dishes 😋
We order drom Asiana Kitchen most Fridays for work lunch. Never ever disappoints. The staff are lovely and can always accomodate you whether it be intolerances or allergies. Favourites dishes are the honey chilli pork loin, Asiana duck fried rice and the seafood curry laska. We highly recommend trying them you will not regret it. Whether you eat in or take away the quality does not differ.
Beautiful, fresh authentic Malaysian food served in a timely manner by smiling, friendly staff. We ate seafood Laksa, Nasi Lemak, and bought a Char Kwai Teow to take home. Haven't had the CKT yet but expect it will be very good.
Ordered roast duck noodles and sweet and sour pork rice. It was beautiful!!! Loved that the sweet and sour pork was separated with the rice and there was even fresh salad too!
Super yummy food! We got the combination crispy noodle, Mee goreng and honey chilli chicken. Everything was soo good. I think the best dish was the honey chilli chicken, which was super tasty.
Great little Asian restaurant.. Good food.. Delicious.. Mee Gurang, Salt and Pepper Chicken Ribs and Coconut prawns are to die for! Highly recommended..
If you ever around Cranbourne botanical garden, try not to miss out this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Friendly and good service. Food served were tasty and you can feel the typical home cook Malaysian style foodies 😋
I love this place since the beginning. Before their foods were inconsistent either flavour or somehow not cooked. But lately we've been visiting them again and its very lovely. I think they improved a lot, as always customer service is very lovely from the 2 girls. Foods not even a question because it's always really good and best Malaysian local restaurant. Prices are reasonable but please heads up that they gonna increase it from 28th of June.
The minus is just because of the automatic door than very sensitive so it opens very often that makes the place cold. Also we really like the Asiana fried rice however they very often run out the duck :(. It's everyone's favourite and I think they should improve it.
We ordered 5 dishes in total with Salt Pepper Tofu not in the pict and cost us $17pp / $71 the total.
This is a good and trustworthy eatery with simple dine in and takeaqay. The Staff are very kind and friendly. You get the classic personal service on each visit. Whenever we have been tjr place is always Bustling with activity
Yummy Malaysian and Chinese cuisine is dished out.
Highpoint is the Family feel - great place to bring the family
Parking is just enough inside the compound but plenty of on street parking. Order ahead for takeaway. Good value for money.
Been there a few times. This time we ordered two serves of roast duck noodles with thin wanton noodles. $14 each, good serving size, really worthwhile. One noodles serving is tossed in yummy savoury soy sauce with pork crackling. Other noodles serving are in hot, clear, tasty wanton soup. Both wanton noodle styles are cooked perfectly, neither too chewy nor too soft. The roast duck serving in separate plates are maryland cuts, have crispy skin, and have plenty of meat. The roast duck sauce makes the meat even more flavourful.
Legit wok hei and char kway teow Malaysian style. Amazing!!
Bought takeaway fried rice and noodle soup. Items were packed well and order notes followed perfectly. Shop seemed clean and staff are very lovely, would dine in next time!
Highly recommend the Hainan chicken with noodle soup. Chicken is tender and juicy, while the soup is light and hearty, perfect for when the weather is cold. Staff is helpful and provides great service.
They serve really nice Malaysian food! My favorite is honey chili pork! Love it with jasmine rice!
Highly recommended place
I would say this place is indeed a hidden gem known only to those who live outside in the far South Eastern suburbs. Great for no fuss family dinner. Delicious south east asian dishes that are always yummy. On this occasion, we ordered salt and pepper calamari and honey pork that comes with fragrant rice and a serving of lightly dressed salad. Can’t go wrong with these.
