Went for lunch with another couple and the four of us were very impressed with our meal - the steak sandwich was the absolute best👍 The staff were all very pleasant, the wine was excellent so overall, a very pleasant experience. Would most definitely recommend and will return again. Well done.
We went here for Fathers' Day lunch. All fathers were offered a free beverage of their choice from the Kies Winery's range followed by a good selection of lunch options from the menu, not forgetting the children. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food arrived promptly and was delicious. It was accompanied by some excellent wine.
Overall a great experience, hopefully to be repeated soon.

We have been to the Monkey Nut Cafe on several occasions and it seems to get better. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was really yummy and of course the wine Dear Stalker is my favourite.
A beautiful day was topped off by stopping into this gorgeous place. The coffee was great, our sharing platters lovely and most of all the service was the best.
We sat outside to enjoy the sun and the kids were able to explore the garden. Looking forward to heading back there soon.

We had lunch under the rotunda for my sisters 60th birthday. Lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent. Meals were tasty and well cooked. We had a mixture of dishes: fish, pork chops, calamari, prawns and warm chicken salad. Everyone was happy.
A fabulous lunch stop en route our cycle between Gawler and Angaston. So good in fact, that we did it both ways. Friendly service, great wine and food.

Our first visit here ,have passed by so many times & glad we finally called in.
Greeted with a smile as we entered.As we arrived after 3 on a Sunday ,we were able to grab coffee & cake.Absolutely delicious sticky date pudding & apple crumble 😋 Perfect size serves without any going to waste.
Hubby popped next door to the wine tasting & once trying a few he grabbed a pack of Sparkling moscato & a port for $45 in a gift box. Excellent service ,we highly recommend going .

Lovely venue
We did a little wine tasting first and the staff was friendly and informative and the wines to try were a large varied choice. Gift shop. Outside pergola eating area as well as indoors. Very child friendly.
Meal was delicious and again staff were professional and attentive. Well worth a visit and ask why its called Monkey Nut while you are there!
Drunken Monkey salad is awesome. A must try. And so the natural surroundings.
We visited recently as a group of 10. Staff were exceptional and really made sure we were comfortable and looked after. Food was lovely and fair prices, wine was delicious. Highly recommended.
A fantastic place to stop for lunch. The anti pesto with wine combination was fantastic and great valley for money. Staff are excellent, comfortable atmosphere.
