First time here but the carpark was hard to navigate in the dark as it was not well lit. However the food was great and worth the wait. The specials of pumpkin soup 🎃 with garlic toast then veg lasagna and salt and pepper squid 🐙 were outstanding. Worth a try!

We popped in, after visiting the Lyndoch markets, for lunch, I had the salmon the wife the burger. Both meals were enjoyable, a tad expensive but everything seemed to be in this town. It's really a very short drive to get there from where we live
Good value meals with large serves, better for arriving on heated plates. Swirl of balsamic reduction on the garlic bread plate is a class but simple addition, unexpected in a traditional country pub.
Big schnitty tasted great however the Parmigiano sauce ended up overbearing and had to scrape half off. Ambience of lounge was great for a group of a dozen or so.
RUN!! Would not recommend this hotel.... confirmed late check in at the property and then they lock guests out, refusing the late check in!! Happy to charge your credit card though and be completely rude over the phone when contacted to gain entry to a room that's being paid for. Absolute waste of m
I love the food and staff so friendly and helpful. There is a snooker table which you can play for free. Worth stopping in for a bite!
