Neither cheap nor good..Service was not very welcoming. Never been very disappointed with Malaysian food soo far until now.
Tried Malaysia chicken curry (just eatable no Malaysian rich flavours)
Would not recommend unless nothing else available and have to have something.

The service at this restaurant was very good, but the food was not authentic Malaysian food. We ordered a Malaysian chicken curry which tasted odd and included potato that tasted like it had been frozen and although the sambal calamari was quite good, it was too sweet
Come over and over again on my short stay in Mackay. Portion was generous and worth the price.
Love the Nasi goreng, Nasi lemak with curry chicken, Soft shelled crab, and mee goreng everything seems so yummy.
Come on lunch time to have a best deal.

When there are many 1 star reviews, listen to the people's voice!! 1 star from me too for food quality, food price and mediocre customer service. Folks, it is not worth your money. There is a Nyonya restaurant just 200m away, go there. At least they also don't demand cash only. Regret eating here.
It's not authentic Malaysian food. Average taste. Expensive and totally laden with msg. Extremely thirsty after the food. When I asked about the msg level, only to be met by very rude response by the lady with short hair. Disappointed. Definitely not coming back. First time last time.
Can have delicious Malaysian food with reasonable price. Lunch special is really good deal.
Lovely restaurant. Have so many variety of dishes to choose , but then every dish was so yum. Favourite was beef curry.
