Review Burger Urge (mackay) - Mackay

Amazing food for a chain. Great value for money and very quick service. The only downfall was that the staff member that was on the counter at the time was very hard to understand so it made ordering a little difficult (but that isn't a them problem). Pictured is the Hotel Cali.

Juicy beef burgers full of flavour! 🤤 Was quite a long wait because it was super busy. Would recommend avoiding the weekends but great to see that the quality was not affected by the busy period.

3.5 ⭐️ Highlights: The staff here are always friendly and professional. The atmosphere is nice and the store presentation is great. The chips and onion rings are amazing!! Lowlights: I’ve tried so many of the burgers here, as I have been determined to find a great one since it’s specifically a burger joint. I just don’t like them. They’re not that good, they lack flavour or they’re just generic burgers. I feel like they should be more impressive or special since you have burger in the brand name ya know? I have to say though, they do always look like the pictures.

2 years ago 4/5: Good food, meals always come out quick. Pretty tasty. Love the veggie fries, its a shame they are only limited edition. Actually shared this meal as it was too big for myself. Today 3/5: I thought I would try this place out again after not being here for 2 years. Average food, fries came out cold and under salted, the plantbased fried chicken patty was so bland. The burger bun was good. The young girl chewing gum at the counter was very silent and had a careless attitude. When I asked for my burger to be made vegan she looked confused. If you have vegan options on your menu you should make sure your staff know what vegan is. I had to break it down and tell her what to change on the burger to make it vegan. I'm unimpressed. Burgers came out quick and were overall alright but I won't be returning.

I am visiting town with a good friend of mine, and a local guy I know recommended this burger place. It was amazing I had Waikiki classic, it was so yummy. Just wish it was spicier, the chicken was so crunchy and juicy, the pineapple was a little small but it was so tasty! My friend had the Boston burger she said it was amazing, I also had the aero mint thick shake it was one of the best I have ever had! The service was fast can’t wait to go back

Burgers were nice and had some good ingredients and flovors. The staff are friendly, and to food came out quick. The shake wasn't anything overly special. It's definitely worth a look, but it not the best burger I've ever eaten.

To be honest this used to be one of favourite places but I won’t come here much if at all anymore. They took away the birthday burger from the bite rewards, the sweet brioche buns are no more and have gotten even more expensive than before. I mean you pay for sauce with chips (aioli) even. It’s disappointing from how good it used to be but oh well it’s with everything I guess.

First time here and got to say wasn’t disappointed. Had the El Diablo and it was awesome. Loved the hot chilli on the top which was a great way to start the burger. The combination was great with the onion rings complementing the bacon and beef. All the veg was fresh and high quality. The service was fast and friendly and the pricing is quite good. If you like burgers you must check out this place. Worth a visit!
