Review Coral Sea Seafood Restaurant - Mackay

Ordered the King Prawn Pizza - never thought they would be actual chunks of garlic thrown on it along with the barely-there small prawns. We went on Easter Saturday & understand it was busy but that’s just lazy, poor effort.

More of a 3.5 starts. Sometimes the staff can be a bit rude and there is always bugs in the salad for some reason… The pizzas are good and the fish & chips are nice. Nice location and pricing is reasonable. Thanks! 😊

Not really a seafood restaurant, it's more of a Fish and Chips joint in a posh place. Their Pizza was better than their actual seafood baskets 😅 Change this to a woodfired pizza joint and probably more people will come. 🍕 Pizza was delicious!

Pretty good. The crumbed prawns were moorish and the scallops very good. Also the chips were hot and good quality. The only issue is bins for the cardboard the meals come in.

Pizza's are great but the Fish and Chips can be a little hit and miss, however, never bad....just not consistently awesome. Great views and live music on a Sunday evening. Nice place to eat.

Ordered a piece of battered fish it cost $8 it was swimming in oil press on it and it oozed out. Took it back and was treated with hostility and rudeness with the young girl saying to me what do you want me to do with it? I asked for another piece and told her it was totally inedible in all the oil. I told older lady I owned a fish and chip shop years ago and usual reason for oily food is oil not hot enough she said it's up as high as it can go. The older woman called to cook to drain it after cooking was extremely rude towards me. No apology I am new to Mackay will never be back here

I was very disappointed with everything here today and would not return. The place was grotty, the floors so dirty you literally stuck to them. Wrong food delivered and rice not served at all even though ordered. Terrible service, no clean cutlery, average meals and than over charged. Extemely disappointed. :(

The best place in Mackay for incredible seafood. The oysters are a real treat, fresh and tasty. Great service too. Thank you for making our function such a success.

Dinner was amazing last night we celebrated our 7th Anniversary and had Roast Duck and Whole Coral Trout which we have had many times but you guys did extremely well it was beautiful and waitress was very polite and helpful we will return.

Being my 50th which should be really special wanted to go to a lovely place for dinner for my special day after asking a few people what it was like they couldn't say enough about it so we chose Phoenix restaurant on the marina when my daughter rang up to book she asked about my grandchildren who are 3 yrs of age they said it would b children prices . Dinner was booked for 630 pm entree was served it was lovely my two grandchildren had a little as much as a three year old would eat then main which they never touched being three they don't eat much the main very average after main we went to pay for our meal to find out all kids any age pay exactly the same as an adult we questioned it but was a complete waste of time I said to my daughter we will pay but will never go back I was absolutely disgusted how they could charge that for a three yr old $50 a head
