Review Zambrero - Mackay

Good location. Staff was efficient friendly and helpful. Made up my meal exactly the way I wanted. The meal was prepared with good attention and the person serving me took pride in the preparation and ensuring I was happy with the end product. The meal was perfect and tasty. Will eat here again.

Zambrero Mackay is my mood food go to place, dropped in there on Sunday for a little lunch snack takeaway. The staff never fail to deliver (it's been a while since I stopped in, staff have changed and are still as delightful as ever). Quick easy service, fresh, bloody spicy (my choice) and it reminded why I continue to go back. Whatever it is you are doing behind the scene, keep doing it x

Ordered through menulog. Order arrived in time, but made incorrectly. Called store directly, they could only offer us a refund and to reorder. This would then have cost us an extra delivery fee. Store said they would call us back to see how they could help. waited over 30 mins no call. We called back they stated the team member helping us had gone on a break. We ended up with a refund for the individual meal, and a voucher from menulog. With no help from the store.

Nice informal vibe. Eat out of disposable plates but it was ok, part of the vibe. And the waitress who served us (didn't get her name) is a credit to your business: explained everything, friendly and with a great sense of humour

I LOVE ZAMBREROs !! I honestly love Zambreros or I did…Whoever is making the guacamole needs to chill on the salt, it be making my lips dry :(

Wish I could leave a good review as I love their food, however was let down last night when ordered through their Menulog system, driver did not arrive until 2 hours from noted delivery time, and ended-up delivering to wrong address and disturbing a fellow-unit occupant and I did leave specific delivery instructions including a contact number. I WILL However Thank the Zambero team for their assistance for helping to troubleshoot.

I don’t usually review places, mainly because I have don’t have time however, I believe it is important to share when you have had such great service for so long. Customer service in Mackay as a whole is quite poor having of lived in Brisbane for 8 years. The efficiency of the staff at Zambreros is outstanding! I have always left this place feeling great. The owner is also genuine, lovely and will do anything to make the customer enjoy their visit. Great work guys x #supportlocal

Thank you. Thank you to Jacinta tonight who made us feel so welcome and looked after all our needs. I have 2 coeliac children and she went over and beyond to make sure their meals were prepared on a separate counter with seperate dishes to eliminate any cross contamination. It was no trouble at all. She had actually told me at the beginning that she was going to do this. I had a silent tear in my eye cause it’s so hard for us to go out and know our kids are safe without the fear of them getting sick. You have a real gem in Jacinta. She is the kindest and beautiful spoken lady. The meal was beautiful and the kids and I are keen to come back for more.

A friend bought this one lunch and it was amazing! Never had it before. Went back on my own and told the counter I had no idea and she clearly explained all the dishes and how it works. Kinda like the subway train u pick what u want. The service was outstanding for a city like Mackay. Best fast food restaurant service I've had in ages. Well done team!

There's a girl working there that always compliments my eyeliner so I come here every day on my lunch break. Your staff are so lovely and polite. Love it.

I had chicken nachos. Very nice, tasty, but hardly any meat, my daughter in law had same, also little meat .

We came in to order tonight having never had zambrero before and the service we got was amazing! The lady that served us( we didn't get her name) was the loveliest most helpful lady ever! Friendly and very informative and made it very easy for us to choose what we wanted to get!!
