Used to be a good club but has gone down hill dramatically, no atmosphere. Coffee shop tables never get
cleared away only as some one leaves. Lack of courtesy bus to regular patrons from the north side is also a big issue for myself and several friends.

Called before arriving to confirm the kids room was open, told it was. Arrived & now told it was closed. Ordered a steak medium/rare, came out well done this happened twice. Wife’s meal went back as no avo or sauce. Three fisherman’s baskets & none had sauce, fish burnt and tasted like old oil. No wounded there are never any people here. Never going back.

Everywhere advertised kids eat for free on Thursdays... when I got to the counter to order was told no sorry that is only for members - this wasn't written anywhere, the server had to go ask management she wasn't sure either.
Waited for nearly an hour for our meals to be ready. When went up to collect our meals, they had forgotten to cook all 3 kids meals.
Our meals were covered in oil and so greasy to eat. We could barely eat half our meals.

Sadly it has gone downhill in a big fashion, cold food, rock hard under cooked potatoes, every week it gets worse. We won't be back after giving it a few chances, even after calling the club to give them feedback nothing changed.

Hadn't had a steak in years and probably won't after it came out and just tasted burnt and looked like the grill was dirty .. favourite part of the meal was the bread rolls

Fish was great, staff lovely, but I don't like whatever it is that is being put on the chips. I don't like the 'seasoning' I just want chips with normal everyday salt. Also just a suggestion when doing roast pork, it should be served with apple sauce and mint sauce for lamb and Yorkshire pudding would be great! Otherwise the club is pretty good.

Souths hosted our wedding on 15-04-17 and we could not say anything bad about the night. They made sure everything went smoothly, I had nothing to worry about, fed 180 people an amazing double banquet feed, amazing staff which were also dressed to the theme perfectly, personalized bar service, curtesy bus, extended venue higher and allowed the reception to look amazing the whole night! Sarina Saints held their presentation night at souths last Friday night and we couldn't have asked for better service, food or friendly staff. Big thanks to all involved and i would recommend the venue to anyone wanting a fun and relaxed night.

The food is horrible. The steak is absolutely terrible. The cook can't heat a can of baked beans if it meant life or death! When I made a complaint it was either a free drink or nothing. This venue is the epitome of all man kind, and I highly recommend to never step foot near the venue. Management, where the fuck have you gone wrong?

Not impressed with meal as roast meat was cold. It seemed like it was from the fridge not the oven. Would not recommend as there are a lot better roast meals elsewhere in Mackay

A few of us usually go there for UFC we buy food and lots of beers The old barmaid in sports bar has very bad service and manners was there for UFC she stuffed the channel up during the fights stuffed up the sound system over a raffle draw then we lost all sound on the main fight when we got it back it was formula one we weren't impressed so made a complaint the duty manager didn't even want to deal with the unhappy customers which wasn't just at our table and nothing was done about it
