Review Sorbellos Pasta Express - Mackay

Wow, after all the hype. I was honestly expecting more. We went through Friday night for the Chicken Parmi special and a large fettuccini Carbonara. The chicken was very dry, missing cheese, there was very little sauce and the steamed vegies were mush. Both the pasta and sauce were bland but thinking no worries, I'll give it a day or two for the flavours to soak in. Nope, it was just as tasteless today as it was on Friday. Not sure why there was two different types of pasta in the serving either? It didn't help that none of your staff looked or acted like they wanted to be there either. I'll gladly give another go the next time I'm in town again but for the money we paid for our meals, we were really disappointed.

Food was cold, salad was missing ingredients, called and finally spoke to the “manager”, was very cocky and pretty much called me a liar. Will never order from here again. Very disappointing as the one in town is spectacular

I will never order from here again. Food tasted bland and called the manager courteously to let her know but wasn't at all sympathetic. I spent $57 on 3 dishes and sad to say but frozen meals from woolies and Coles have more taste in it then the meal I had tonight. Will NEVER order from here again unless you like your pasta dry with minimal sauce and taste like cardboard! I wasn't expecting a refund and I'm not one to complain but I wasn't even offered and alternative or anything. Complete waste of money!

Always always on point. Never disappoints. Great Italian cuisine!!

This store used to have consistently great food only a few years back. The last 4 times I have ordered the food it's been tasteless and bland. They obviously don't taste their own food because it tastes so bad. I won't be returning.

This is why we can’t have nice things. Food was okay. I also don’t mind paying the fairly high prices, but how’s this for serving size?

Frozen pizza bases, more grease than anything else and customer service was a joke. Felt ill after eating a slice of pizza and the pasta was just pasta and cream, barely any other flavourings.

Very very bad. But at least it's expensive.
