Review The Coffee Shop Northern Beaches - Mackay

Tried this place as it was recommended as good Filipino food here in Mackay QLD. I must have made the wrong choice and ordered the baby back ribs which was extremely disappointing. The ribs were so dry and way over cooked, it looks and even tasted like leftover that was reheated the next day and yet it took forever to arrive at the table, more than 40mins. Rice was somewhat undercooked and hard. For $25, this would have been heaps better from local bistro. Although other menu items looks appealing, I don’t know if after this experience I’d be wanting to return to try other meals. Very disappointed :(

Amazing selection of food and drinks. There is seriously nothing missing (maybe soup) 😂 so many delicious drink options. Pricing is reasonable and the staff are friendly. The location is really my only lowlight, it’s such a great cafe but just not the kind of atmosphere you want to sit and enjoy for multiple hours.

Great food, very friendly staff and service with a smile, the smoothies are absolutely delicious, nice place to stop in for a bite, ill definately be back. My breakfast chicken kebabs was delicious, compliments to the chef.

This business (John Winner) ordered from us and then cancelled the card transaction, dodgy, do not supply to them, their tel number also does not work

Very friendly and helpful staff , great meals at a very fair price . They are very hard working and amazingly seem to work in a very small kitchen very successfully. Go there very regularly John Short and Marilyn King

Good food. Quick service. Worth the visit. Good size meals. Yummy iced chocolate and hot chocolate.
