Couldnt rate it better sorry, I stopped in on the way to work, the lady said "I wont be long, Im on the phone", I stood there a full 5 minutes and still no service, I couldnt wait any longer so left without trying their pies. I wont be back because I didnt feel very appreciated as a customer. Shame, pies are my thing, we travel a lot and we try pies all over the place rating them as we go.

Nice square shaped pies. Love going to different places and trying local bakeries. Just something about them that makes me seek them out and give them a go. Thanks guys, you'll be seeing me again next time I pass thru Mackay!

I requested a pepper steak pie. The assistant said, "I'm not sure we have any" then she picked out what I assumed was the right one. What I got was a standard, ordinary pie. WTF? I should have realised when I saw it was square that something was up. Also, as far as pies go, it was pretty average. The pastry was thick and hard. The top wasn't flaky and the filling was bland and only luke warm. Even the extra peas (only 10 cents which is a bargain) were tasteless.. I give it 2 out of 5

Great range of fresh bread, pastries & cakes. Friendly service. I especially love their darker breads like rye. Tasty pies & other savoury treats and for dessert more items than can make choosing easy. Cold drinks. Try to avoid parking onsite during peak traffic times unless you arent a hurry as you can take a while to re-enter Milton St.

The service was great. Pleasant smiling staff makes a huge difference. The bread rolls are so fresh, lamingtons large and fresh as well as the peach balls.

I found the staff at crustys bakery to be friendly and efficient. Their bread, cakes, pies and pastries are lovely and fresh. I had occasion to place a large order for a function today and was most impressed with the way it was handled.

Just walked in to place an order as a trial for restaurant burgers, it would appear I disturbed the lady.. I asked how are you she replies with "busy" I started to place order and she huffs n puffs. I'm sorry you are having a busy day but this was my first time in this store and you were totally rude. Dissapointing.
