Review The Bridge River St. Cafe - Macksville

Very smart retro, renovated, stylish cafe. I love the timber booths and the original features. The cafe is further enhanced by smart modern and on trend Renos. The coffee is excellent, well made, nicely infused and structured. Staff are pleasant. Friends had traditional breakfasts that were nicely presented and made with excellent products and produce. It's a great cafe!

It was alright, food was pretty standard breakfast staff were chill and friendly Ice coffees were the best part

I had a pleasant experience. I got the ultimate bacon & egg roll and it was delicious and filling. The decor is an old wood theme and looks very welcoming, however the seats are a bit uncomfortable maybe some cushions would help. No air-conditioning so I was sweating (28° day) but staff were friendly and reasonable pricing

One of the best cafes in town . Opposite the river and bridge, there are toilets in the park on the River there is seating out side and has great booth style seating inside.👍🙂♥️🥧🥙🍔☕🥤

First time been here noticed sitting outside thought nice to sitting there looking over the bridge and the river flows. Inside even better. Although in old fashion but everything are cleaning tidy we enjoyed coffee ,tea and Banana bread. Good cake arrange to choose from. We do QR code in got a window seat sat down enjoying time passing by. I am so glad we stoped here to check this country town out. We have been drove pacific highway passing this town many times never stop to have coffee. Next time I must visit this cafe, you just got that feeling of totally relaxed! Highly recommended.

Longest wait for service, at least 15 min in line practically standing on top of people seated eating, food took another 15 minutes. Dry flavourless ham cheese croissant…..won’t be back. Way understaffed.

Great place for breakfast and coffee. Stopped here on our way back from Grassy Head. Great customer service, super good food, yummy coffee. The customer service is excellent. Bathroom’s are in the back, so you have to walk through the kitchen. Really clean kitchen and very cool backyard area! Really loved this place.

Very delicious breakfast with an original serving and professionally made coffee. The place is decorated as an old-style milk bar. We were happy to find it on our way to Byron

Makeover looks brilliant. Should be scientifically impossible to serve poached eggs so quickly. Short Black did not need sugar. Ticks all the boxes. Well done.

Was disgusted by the courtesy shown by this business . We approached them last week to enquire if we could book this venue for a private function for a wake . We were told they would get back to us to let us know . We left our details and also called leaving a message to let us know either way as we would need to arrange another venue if they were not able to do it . They still had not got back to us after 4 days and us leaving messages so we drove in to see them face to face . We were only then told they had decided not to take the booking leaving us 3 days to find somewhere else . I have no problem if they didn’t want to take the booking but the lack of courtesy shown by not calling us or returning our numerous calls is completely insensitive and just plain rude. We will be telling everyone about the lack of courtesy shown by this business .
