Review Barefoot Cafe - Macmasters Beach

You don't get much more of a stunning location than this!! Beautiful views over Macmasters beach & plenty of space/tables. A few good options on the menu. We especially loved their hollandaise. Everything was cooked perfectly. Could sit here for hours! Would highly recommend, we'll be back when we can!

Went to Barefoot with no expectations, and was greeted with an awesome pan-asian menu of house made steamed prawn dumplings, vegetable dumplings, house made prawn spring rolls and pork buns. Right by the (on this day) pumping right hand point break. Result. There’s also curry’s and a pad thai, didn’t try, perhaps next time. There’s your usual standard cafe fare of burgers, F n C, salads too. Super friendly service and amazing location, combined with surprisingly good asian food by the beach food. I’m going back, perhaps tomorrow.

The view is amazing. However, I asked for table water, they told me I could fill up a plastic cup at an outside bubbler or buy bottles water! I said don’t worry, to their credit they realised my astonishment and brought out plastic cups filled with water. But really can’t you provide glasses for people to drink out of? The meals below were ok, the smoked salmon avo smash was expensive for what it was at $22. The toast was pretty sub par, no sourdough or artisan bread options. The coffee was average. The meal was fine for a passing breakfast weekend away but I won’t be back. I hope the business rethinks their no table water policy.

Great burgers, yummy nachos, cocktails great for the kids. Reasonable serves about a 30min wait for food when it wasn't too busy. Otherwise stunning view and location. Perfect for after a swim.

23.04.2022 - Poor service, food came out cold. Ordered a schnitzel burger, got a fish burger. Took my mum from NZ there as I had a reasonable experience a couple of years ago. Won’t be going back unfortunately, they have such a great spot to be a premier diner but it really is second rate.

Great view, Good Food and Service The Barefoot Cafe offers great local food at very reasonable prices, located right on Macmasters beach it's perfect or a quick lunch or coffee EFPOS is not always available so make sure you have cash. Food was fresh and had a real home made feel about it

The coffee was really good coupled with the toasted banana bread. Relaxed surroundings overlooking the beach watching the surf activities.

Location 5 stars, actual coffee shop 2 stars! No EFTPOS even though they do have a sneaky machine if you beg to use it. Terrible customer service and the food portions are extremely small. But the worst part by far... is the coffee! it's possible the worst in NSW. It tastes like the back end of a sick elephant. If it wasn't for the amazing location this place would of shutdown years ago. Take a stroll down the beach and grab yourself a proper coffee and a decent reasonably priced feed from Copa.

Walked along the beach from copacobana about 20mins to Barefoot Cafe, was it worth the walk? NO!! was it good? NO!! was it worth what you pay?NO!! ( 2 poached eggs 9$ with salmon 7$ on schiacciata bread 16$) and a mocca 4.50$ pretty average not the best coffee, all up 20.50$!! ...Not happy Jan!! �

Had a wonderful breakfast yesterday. Being new to the Coast, I think this particular beach is amazing! My wife & I love the food. The staff were friendly.😊

Friendly service, tasty coffee AND a brilliant outlook from Macmasters to Copacabana Beach to enjoy it. On top of which a jazz had set-up to entertain the customers. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven! :)

Went to have lunch here today and when I asked for a high chair for my 1.5yr old was told it was locked out the back and would take too long and be too hard to get! Such bad customer service

I love the Barefoot Cafe. There coffee is really good, service and quality of food...awesome. Price totally reasonable. The Barefoot ‘steamboat’ and ‘King Prawn Spring Rolls’ are so delicious and good value. Cannot beat the location, it’s casual, the kids can enjoy and dogs are welcome on a lead. I really enjoyed the Jazz band that played this morning whilst having a coffee after a lovely swim. 🌟

Food ok, a bit overpriced , and Was told no EFTPOS during the day but can use for Dinner time due to Bad signal ��� my phone had good signal , more like cash only to keep away from tax man ����
