Review The Glasshouse Dining - Macquarie Park

Located ~10min walk from the hustle and bustle of MQ Centre main entrance 😟. I was a bit confused if there was table service or counter service (staff approached us though a laminated sheet of paper at counter said "breakfast and lunch please order & pay here"). The chicken nasi goreng that I ordered was mildly spicy ... and I would bring my other spice-loving friends if we could adjust heat level! Prices were a bit above my expectations but our stomachs were presented with good quality food and decent coffee. Loved the atmosphere - quiet Saturday morning, bright sunlight and The Beatles! 😎

Superb customer service! Nice coffee. The poke bowl was fresh and packed with flavours. The mee goreng was yum. A great place to enjoy a quiet meal away from the crowd.

Very attentive service from the gentleman this past Friday evening. Great conversation and awesome food! I was so jet lagged that I wasn’t super hungry, so the pork belly lettuce cups were just the ticket! Delicious! Go get these - skip a meal somewhere else to do so if you have to!

Very close to Macquarie Uni Station. Good location. I like this glass house. You can enjoy the great sunshine on a Saturday morning and have some reading here. It’s very quiet during weekends. Food is good and the price is reasonable. Very suitable for students and office workers to enjoy a quiet day.

Small restaurant mainly serving the Holiday Inn Express guests. Good food and quick friendly service.

Love the food and services, while I am staying at the hotel. Grilled Steak and Grilled Salmon are my favorite.

Had a great experience here! The customer service was smiling, friendly and proactive. He answered most of our inquiries and he served the food with a delightful persona. The food itself was great, especially the poke or rice dishes. The chicken schnitzel was alright but, the server's attitude gave me a positive lasting experience. P.s. my friend and I forgot our bag of fries and he ran to us, outside at the street and gave us our bag :)

We visited for dinner using a deal voucher so we were not expecting anything lavish. The area is dying for some good new places to eat so we were excited. Unfortunately it was the smallest of things that let it down. We ordered bruschetta as a share entree... it was simply big chucks of tomato on some nice bread with a small amount of oil, sprinkle of feta and a few baby basil leaves... I'd love to leave some feedback for this dish "where was the seasoning?" Tip: keep the bread ,dice the tomato or slice the tomato add some red onion, salt pepper, oil, drizzle with some balsamic glaze!!!! Mains - steak- no complaints , jus was delicious. Would probably add a small side salad to this dish if anything - pork belly- the belly it self was Devine and melting. The crackling crumb was a lovely touch but again NO SALT, I found this a bit funny to have pork belly with no salt not even in the crackling crumb. The Asian sauce was quite nice but I'm not sure it fitted with the dish. The side of smashed roast pumpkin was ok but again not sure the dish as a whole works. There was way to much pumpkin with no seasoning , a small amount of feta and seeds on top. I would suggest perhaps serving this dish more traditionally maybe with potato and cabbage or Somthing or even turning it into a pork belly roast with an array of roast veg with one sort of jus. You would be surprised how many people would enjoy that at the end of the day. While atmosphere was ok it was lacking in warmth. Staff were friendly but not overly attentive. I've traveled a lot and a fair amount regionally. This place could do very well for it self the menu just needs some tweaks. Especially with the number of business travellers they would have coming in to eat. We want small places like this to survive in our area... they just need to get some feedback about what people want and enjoy.

Extreme rip-off. Ordered the chicken breast and salmon from here for delivery and what arrived was an entree of each at best. The salmon and chicken breast were both absolutely tiny and the chips with each didn't even take up a quarter of the container they came in. Those combined with some wings and side chips was $74, for which I would have been expecting something substantial, but what was delivered was nothing short of robbery. If I'd paid half of what was charged for each meal I might have understood but as it was, we ended up making our own lunch afterwards anyway.

Great coffee, great meal, scrumptious sauces. The sous vide method really made a difference to the steak and at only 2-3 dollars more than typical lunch fare in Macquarie Park CBD, really good value.

Great staff, great food, good prices. Plan on eating here a lot while I am in Sydney for the month.

The signature steak is so tender. It was an amazing experience. Coffee and waitress/waiters were good. Must try if youre in the area.
