A quality place filled with quality food! The sushi is fresh, the prices are low and the staff are friendly. This place does great main dishes to for anyone who can’t score a train seat! Highly recommend 🍙🍣🍱🍤🥟🍥
The sushi quality here is very nice and more affordable than other places. I come here often with friends for a quick catch up. Highly recommend the grilled salmon: it’s very soft yet delicious and the rice complements it well without overpowering the salmon.
This is one of my favourite places for sushi!
Casual dining, excellent service with creative and filling dishes all priced at $3.80.
Amazing variety, always fresh and great value for money :)
The crab leg meat sushi is great 👍 and seaweeds was great 👍
It’s 3.8/plate,but pricing.
But the food is freshly made.
I believe that I will come back.
Very friendly staff. Good food at peak times (5-7pm) because it is freshly made. Sushi is good quality and full of flavour. When you order hot food or specific sushi, it comes quite fast. The kimchi udon was good. We always come back here when we're in Macquarie Centre!
RANDOM MACQUARIE CENTRE DEGUSTATION PART 2: It’s just another sushi train, but I really like the decor. It’s ultra funky modern and the good service is worth noting. I had Salmon two ways (spicy crab and roe) and a Crab Nigari.
Mitzu is a popular sushi train in Macquarie Park Centre. They serve really good sushi for a really good price; $3.80 a plate except for fancy stuff which is $5.50 a plate. À la carte and drinks are also priced differently. This place is a favourite of one of our friends who we met up with for a quick lunch.
This place is pretty damn good for shopping centre sushi train. All plates (excluding sashimi and elaborate sushi) are $3.80 so you don't have to keep an eye out for the colour of the plate (that is such an out-dated concept by the way). The variety here is pretty good, there is black rice sushi rolls and rice-less sushi for people that are carb-conscious. I definitely have my few favourites which I get every time. Because there's a high turnaround in this restaurant, the food are constantly being made and therefore are hot and fresh. Highly recommend it.
Been here a few times. The vegetarian variety is very nice and the spring rolls are a must try! The staff are very very friendly. I definitely recommend this place!
Trying to find sushi with that "fresh" taste is hard in sydney. With all the popup sushi shops and stalls at the shops or in the city. Mitzu has it! This place was great. I have been comming here regularly at least twice a month and it never dissapoints. Staff are always friendly and the chefs are always making fresh plates when im there. Definately value for money!
My family and I have been eating at Mitzu regularly for about 7 years now. As always, they never disappoint, and the manager and staff are ever-so-friendly! The sushi is well-priced, and always delicious, with most plates being $3.50 for two pieces, although the prices do increase with plate colour, and sashimi is $7 I think for 7 pieces, which is not bad.
Everything was fresh. Really liked the avocado, salmon and rice mix sushi. Comfortable seating, and having tried Japanese after a really long time would be going back for more again.
Also liked the crab sushi and boiled beans were really chewy :) overall a light and tasty lunch
With table for 3, we ended up having 7 plates. So costed around 35$ including drinks
Yummy sushi train in Mac centre. We had the edamame which were still warm and tasted super fresh and lots of varieties of sushi. All the usual ones are here and you can order from the menu.
I like that there are ample tables for 4 off the train as I will come back with work people. Worth going
Excellent Value & Very Tasty. Surprised to read the poor reviews, although they're not that recent so perhaps Mitzu has lifted it's game. I'm not from Sydney and this was a complete unknown when we decided to have a sushi train lunch, whilst in Sydney (from Perth) for a long weekend. We had delicious fresh plates of sushi, very yummy, great service from smiling wait staff, and excellent value. Almost all of the plates were $3.50 each, which we both thought was very good. The miso was also quite acceptable. If I lived nearby I would definitely go here regularly whilst doing my shopping. My only suggestion would be that they should serve wasabi made from powder, rather than the little packets of paste.
Average. Mitzu is a Japanese sushi train restaurant within the Macquarie Centre serving not only sushi but also main meals. It's options on the sushi train are nothing special and very plain and unappealing to many other sushi train places i have been too. Prices range from $3-$8. Their mains range from $10-$15 from memory and i ordered the Udon with Chicken which is fried skinless chicken which was quite enjoyable. Girlfriend ordered the chicken katsu with rice which was also very well made. The decor and atmosphere in Mitzu could do with a lot of improvements. The chefs behind the sushi train are blocked by a barrier 3 sides around the sushi train. Instead of seeing the chefs at work preparing food, diners are presented with a glass cabinet that houses plastic figurines of fish and fruit and your reflection given off the mirror on the wall of the barrier, giving off a very cheap and outdated look to the restaurant. Mitzu was an enjoyable meal although i wouldnt go here specifically for its sushi train.
I absolutely love japanese food and this was no exception on the deliciousness. I only wished they had more carb free choices.
Nice japanese food inside the Macquarie Shopping Centre
This is probably the only sushi train in Sydney that I can vouch for their quality of food and menu options. The menu options are extensive, always fresh and delicious.
Good place to go if you want sushi. However there will be a queue on dinner time.
One of the good restaurants that my family and I experienced. Food is always fresh and delicious. We just found a fish bone, It is dangerous for kids and we were lucky my son didn't swallow it ! happened. We informed the restaurant manager but I'm sure this is not always happening.
