Absolutely love this place, stop here on my postie run. The pies are great, the cakes are great and most importantly the staff are very polite. Good job, one of my favourite bakery's hands down! 👍

If you like fresh pastisserie. This is a great place to have a quick brunch and coffee. Omg 😱 I’ve never seen so many different types of rolling pins before!!! Just awesomely beautifully displayed as you’ve walk in. Fantastic quiches, cakes and other yummy pies, pasty, and gourmet pastries to list them all🥰🙌. You must come and find out for yourself!

This morning , the young Man barrister ( I don't now his name ), made the perfect Belgium hot chocolate so far. Not too sweet but still can tasted the richness of the dark chocolate. 😋

Best custard tart I’ve ever eaten. Short crumbly pastry, smooth sweet custard. And good coffee too 😍

Small Cute cafe in Magill! First time popping in. Their sausage rolls are super generous for a good price. I wanted alone croissant but they didn’t have any so I settled for plain ones which were good to take home and add chocolate spread to:)

Great local bakery. Friendly service, tasty pies and treats, great coffee with classic antique spoons from around the Pacific. Easy to recommend to anyone passing through or living locally.

Quality pastries.

I loved the steak pie and cheesecakes I tried. If you have time, I recommend ordering one of their spectacular hot chocolates to enjoy on-site.

Cool joint! Very modern and stylish but simple! This place I think is connected to Mayfair. The family do a great job and not over complicate what they do!

Quaint little coffee / bakery in North Magill
Just popped in by chance and ordered a "skinny hot chocolate..extra hot" Large which is reasonably expensive compared to other places.
My extra hot was warm! However, the microwave at work is a beauty had it extra hot in no time.
The actual taste of the hot chocolate was nothing special.
Better places with hot and less expensive HOT chocolates.

The desserts here are amazing.
The savories are okay but not to my liking.
It would be good if they opened on a sunday. I don't understand why bakeries close on Sunday.

Friendly service, simple deco. Coffee is decent. Had the sausage roll, cheddar steak and bacon pie, chicken and pinenut quiche and the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. Cheesecake was okay, felt that it was overrated - cheese taste wasn't very strong and so were the raspberry and white chocolate. Very light texture so I guess it's not bad for breakfast but not as a dessert. Didn't enjoy the quiche as it wasn't eggy enough. The pie was decent - liked the chunks of steak, but couldn't taste the bacon.

You know those days where everything seems to goes wrong. Those days where a big bill arrives in the post that you don't know how you will pay it? Those days when the boss is a (insert favourite expletive here)? The kids are driving you even crazier than normal? Well, this place can make life a little bit better. The love they put into their product is easy to see. Grab a cake and a coffee, zone out and make life good again. My personal favourite is the cheesecake. Melt in your mouth goodness. A lot can be said about the simple things in life.

Seriously good bakery. Fantastic pastry encasing chunky, meaty fillings filled full of flavour.

We also had a raspberry and passionfruit, a lemon meringue and a strawberry and marscapone tart and all were really excellent. A complete delight.

Every tart is a winner so far. I am working my way though all the tarts and I have not found any that are not awesome!

Get your meat pies. Great meat pies! I had their beef, cheddar and bacon pie - it was very delicious with real meat and gooey cheese.

Also tried their nutella cronut, was very tasty.

Visited this cosy bakery yesterday for the first time and we were very impressed. Lots of delicious patisseries to choose from at reasonable prices, with a friendly relaxed ambience. It all looks very fresh and authentic. The tarts were delicious- the pastry was light, the fillings flavor some and they looked very appealing. The staff were friendly and the youthful team behind this delightful place really add to the relaxed feel to it. I hope this new eastern suburbs gem does well.

Rare Find. With so many franchised bakeries opening around the place, finding an 'actual' bakery isn't easy these days, with most just buying in the same generic range of bland offerings from an external bakery. In this case, the entire display of offerings comes straight from the kitchen that happens to be situated immediately behind it, where you can watch it all being made in full view. The pies and pasties are like nothing you'll find in other bakeries, yet they're no more expensive? The pastries are a real delight, with crusts exhibiting the perfect amount of crunch, and there's no doubt in my mind they use real milk and eggs (something I confirmed), and not the powdered rubbish most bakeries use to save money these days, at the expense of quality, and most importantly, flavour!

Without a doubt the best bakery in the eastern suburbs, and maybe even Adelaide. 5 Stars Keep up the good work, and thanks for the wonderful food!

Stunning French Patisserie. I walked in to a friendly warm reception from the staff to the owners. Their french tarts, bread, pies to die for like the Parmigiana Pie and Cheeseburger Pie.....I now go every day for a hot chocolate and friendly chat - not to mention always buying something.
Try their Almond Croissants - superb...!!!

After one visit I am seriously in love with this place! From the friendliness and enthusiasm of the owners to the amazing display of pies, pasties, tarts and macarons this bakery has it all. The chicken schnitty pie was fantastic with really light, crisp pastry. Great quality coffee and a really tough decision of which tart to try. Am definitely planning on becoming a regular!

Soooo glad this place has opened. A good coffee in the area was much needed. Bonus that it is walking distance to our house! The boys make a great team - amazing coffee & hot chocolates (best in the area) & to-die-for pastries and pies. My favourites are the cheeseburger pie, sausage rolls and I was lucky enough to get a pistachio croissant straight out of the oven today. Yum! The raspberry filled macarons are also amazing but you have to get in early! Two thumbs up!

I have been here a few times now, each greeted in the most friendliest of ways by these guys! The food is amazing, the cheeseburger pie is a MUST, not to mention the most perfect macarons and other pastry delights you'll ever eat. Top service with a smile and a great deal of personality. You've won my vote!

I stumbled upon this place by accident, and I am so happy I did, the service was great, the guys were super happy to wait while I struggled to decide what I wanted, which with all their super delicious things was certainly not easy. Amazing food and amazing service, definitely give this place a visit

Best tarts in adelaide!!
Delicious Please
When I saw this in the display counter it was definitely a "I MUST EAT" moment. How could anyone say no to something so beautiful? The macaron shell was slightly too chewy and not crumbly enough, thought that may be due to it's size. The passionfruit creme was packed with flavour and the raspberries were incredibly juicy and plump.

My wife recently introduced me to this little bakery around the corner from our house. She's been getting desserts and baked goods here regularly for the kids but the main reason she let me know of this place was because they just started selling Cronuts!
I Only Eat Desserts
I have a soft spot for bakeries, supermarkets and markets … maybe just food in general? There’s just something in a bakery where you see the place overfilling with pies, bread and cakes – the madness of trying to just pick a few! The Rolling Pin Bakery has been on my to eat list for a while and I have finally made it to this casual, chilled out bakery :) The crumbly pastry of the quiche was so tasty with flavoursome chicken and filled with delicious eggy custard :) Chicken Quiche Caramelised puff pastry was really hard to cut through that I ended just stabbing it and squishing all the cream down – my heart broke as something this pretty was destroyed by me wanting to eat it. Although hard to cut through, the puff pastry was crispy and tasted like a biscuit with smears of French vanilla crème and chocolate crème. Chocolate & Vanilla Mille-Feuille An easy, no fuss lunch with things quite cheap – all together for a pie, coffee, quiche and mille-feuille was $16.
