Our favourite cafe on the Gold Coast, we have been coming here for a few years now. Always warm friendly service and atmosphere, great coffee and yummy French based dishes and pastries.
The chicken and mushroom crepe is really good..a must try for chicken lovers..the plain cheese croissant is delicious for all the cheese fans
This place is great!! Love it I feel like I'm holidaying in France food is always yummy and coffee is good! They have lovely seating out side under trees. My 2 daughters love the French toast and I love the omelettes think we are going to have to try the crepes next! Only downside is that the food can take a while otherwise I would have given it 5/5!!
Had the most delicious brunch at Le Jardin. The coffee was exactly what I asked for and the French omelette was perfect…not to heavy with cheese, and the eggs were beautifully fluffy and light. The restaurant was quite busy this morning, and the waiting time on my coffees and food was perfectly acceptable. The atmosphere…sitting amongst the garden with lovely french music playing was perfect.
For all those people who want super quick service, have forgotten how to socialise and relax with friends, and think that 'good food' has to be akin to a MasterChef finale, guess what…..there's a McDonalds located just up the road.
Great service and excellent food. Good value for money.
Amazing service, amazing food, outstanding coffee and the atmosphere was spot on. My Paris-obsessed 5 year old Miss was blown away. Just perfect!
Quaint French. A small casual charming little place. The food is very good, from great sandwiches and baguettes to great crepes and french toast! the staff are french and very sweet and nice. Only 2 people running the place so can be busy and thus a little slow, but thats not from lack of trying! and its worth the wait as everything seems homemade. Lovely little outdoor courtyard seating with vines, a nice place to sit and eat or have a coffee and read the paper. A refreshing change from all those typical or tacky places the gold coast has to offer.
Diana. Tried Le Jardin twice, the first time coffee was great & served with a smile, second visit not quite up to par (different barista & a little miserable I thought) but the taste was there (being Merlo) Loved the crepes & the chic French setting, took me back to the back alleys of gay Paris
Had the strawberry crepe, was yum. Service was good. Only downside was the cup holding the sugar packs was full of water so couldn't use the sugar and my fork was bent, thought they would check that when washing up.
Just stumbled across Le Jardin :)
It's a quaint lil French inspired Cafe tucked away down the end of Tedder. It offers all day breakfast & sandwiches as well as some mouth watering Crepes. Well worth considering when cruising Tedder Ave.
Le Jardin is a very charming little café tucked away on the corner of a trendy street. Unassuming, yes, but there are lots of reasons to stroll on in:
* It’s very French (Oh la la!) and even a bit quirky!
* There’s a garden atmosphere. We love to dine with a view of green!
Really excellent coffee and the croissant was as good as I’ve had anywhere. Also ordered the Parisian crepe, a salmon baguette and a small cooked breakfast. Would recommend if in the area.
Excellent food, I had the waffles with strawberries and banana which were great, fruit compote was lovely.
Good Coffee too.
Well worth a visit, other food coming out looked amazing.
Crumbed Camembert salad was to die for!!!! Chocolate Banane crepes were nice too. Cute little cafe, you really feel like you’ve stepped away from the Gold Coast and into France! Highly recommend!
Had a nice coffee here yesterday afternoon. Glad you guys are open. I know times are very tough on small businesses like yours. Thank you.
I also appreciated the small touches that are included as decorations or fittings in the shop.
I would love to come hack here and enjoy some of the interesting items on the agenda. The omelette looks tempting.
Great food and everything came out relatively quick considering how busy it was. I have some food allergies so Chef Camilo was making sure my meal is 100% safe and yummy. Would def recommend
4.5 stars from us to be honest. French dishes are exceptionally good with the great variety of French omelets and salads. House wines were fantastic (we tried rose and white). Music selection and volume level were also very good and comfortable.
Unfortunately your coffee blend is terrible, also espresso was served in the cold cup and was room temperature, and latte had too much milk, so after a fantastic lunch we walked for coffee to another place.
Overall we're giving you 5 stars and hope you will improve the quality of your coffee.
Cappuccino is phenomenal. We drive all the way from Brisbane to have a cup of cappuccino. Crepe is a bonus.
We love going to Le Jardin when we are at Main Beach! The food, coffee and atmosphere is fantastic.
All the staff are lovely too and seem happy to be working there.
We have always thought the owner/manager is friendly. Sometimes it is extremely busy but he does a good job trying to accommodate everyone with a table whilst keeping standard up- well done and thanks for making our holidays happy!!
