After a morning of whale watching we were ravenous and decided that Hogs Breath Cafe was a quick easy option.
Upon arriving we were promptly shown to our table and our drink order taken.
We both decided on a burger. I chose the Aussie Steak Burger with sweet potato wedges while hubby had the Crispy Chicken, Brie & Bacon burger with curly fries. We both opted for the turkish style bun, than the normal milk bun.
Our meals seemed to come out within 10 minutes, which we were super happy about!
The burgers were big and super delicious! The only thing I didnt like was the burger wasnt toasted or placed on the grill for a couple of minutes to warm up.
What struck me, was the seats were way too low for the tables in the outside eating area. I felt like a little kid sitting at a big adult table, but was so hungry after a while I forgot about it.
The waitress checked on us regularly and I must admit, its was exactly what we expected and got. A good hearty meal with no bells or whistles, served promptly.
Great quick service and a filling meal. The wedges were a tad too salty but hey, thats the chance you take ordering fries.
It's great value with an Entertainment Book Coupon which they happily accepted and processed.
If I find myself at Mariners Cove again, definitely will return.
Really really nice. The menu is great, service was quick and reasonably priced. If anything, it would have been nice to have vegetables or some salad with the kids meals instead of fries. Overall it was pleasing.
One of the better hogs breath cafes. Only had to wait to be seated once.. I think we have been around 4-5 times. Food is good and service also good!
Hog's Breath Main Beach was one of the better ones we've been to - really friendly service and the share tower is perfect - curly fries, chicken tenders and spring rolls! Great cocktails but they took forever to come out so we would of had heaps if we had the chance. The loaded potato skins are great as a snack and they have good choices for lunch too with a lunch menu if you want something lighter.
Fabulous Experience!. Tonight we headed to Hog's Breath Cafe for dinner with two little boys. After reading the reviews on here we were a little concerned, though we can say that the service we received tonight was fabulous all round, great wait staff, through to order taking, to meal delivery, front till and drinks. Please do not be put off visiting from the reviews left on here. Thanks Hogs Breath cafe main beach, for a great night.
Impressed Melbournians. We ate at this restaurant Monday night this week. We had a great experience from the food to cocktails and especially the service from 'Catwoman'...We will definitely be back here again when we are up from Melbourne!...Highly recommend!
Great food, especially the ribs, the best. We had mixed quality with our steaks, a very nice cut and a terrible one. Overall nice but overpriced.
This is a great franchise. Have dined at several of their restaurants throughout Australia. The food, service, decor, always consistently good. They are popular which is a good indication. So headed to the local Hogs Breath. I was not disappointed. For a family this is great value. The coffee was tasty. It was well worth the visit. Shall return again
7 out of 10. Great food and service Excellent decor & atmosphere, we had a lovely meal, huge portions, slightly overpriced but worth it!
