Review Coquun - Maitland

Definitely a hidden place you need to check. Embedded in an architecture award building the pace have a welcoming indoor and refreshing outdoor view. Very friendly personal although the rush time. Excellent food and coffee. Check the picks below. Saved this place in my favourite list

How good ;) is this view ! The staff were welcoming and efficient on a hugely busy night due to a music event on the other side of the river. I had plum soda(non alcoholic due sport comp tomorrow) and the Wagyu burger. The location and decor feels like a much more expensive restaurant. Loved it. A lot! If you are visiting Maitland don’t miss the Levee precinct and this restaurant!!

Everything here was incredible!! Food, staff, views - all amazing. Had the vegetarian lasagne and chips, best chips I have ever had! The drinks were strong and very tasty! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time I am in the area.

Visited this lovely place over a long weekend. It was the only food outlet open in the area and thus extremely busy. I was thoroughly impressed with the efforts of the service staff who were completely run off their feet but maintained a casual and welcoming composure. The food was well priced, I did feel it was good value for money and tasted delicious. Given how busy it was the food arrived reasonably quick. The location is along Maitland river levee on the river side of the Maitland mall. A casual vibe, aided by some chilled live saxophone. Can't wait to go back and try a dinner.

How often do you love every single thing about a café?! Well, if you're short on wonderful experiences head to COQUUN, the view is hard to beat, but then you meet the staff and then you taste the food! A really foodie menu that caters to everyone, including gluten free and vegan, in fact the vegan options are amazing! Already planning another visit.

Delicious food. A little pricey, but great quality food. Love their tomato relish and pickled fennel. Try the salami baguette with the tomato relish 🤩 The view is also great👍

Just got a latte and a mocha for me and the wife here. Omg. Real chocolatey chocolate goodness in the mocha. Wife is loving her latte. Gonna be buying more coffees from here and will probably have to give the menu a go as well... Edit: a few days later and we have stopped in and grabbed a small lunch. 3 cheese toasty with pickle and tomato relish for me, and it was brilliant. Why I haven't had this combination of ingredients on a toasty before I don't know. Bloody brilliant. My wife had a bowl of chips and aioli, and even that aioli was amazing. Really recommend this place

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday brunch at Coquun. Our meals and coffee were lovely, as was the view of the glistening Hunter River. Recommend!
