The Golf club is a great venue with beautiful sea views.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and great to talk to.
The price of alcoholic drinks very reasonable, as well as the food.
The food was good without being amazing. I had the lamb shank with red wine sauce, mash potato and vegetables. It was on the specials board.
The meat was very tender, the mash was smooth, the sauce didnt have a lot of flavour to add yet I liked my meal.
I also got to try the tomato gnocchi, the thai green curry and the prawn, chorizo rigatoni. A quick summary - gnocchi was very light and soft, with good flavour, the thai green curry was very average. It was very bland and just tasted like coconut rice without paste. The rigatoni had tender, juicy, well textured prawns with a nice sauce.
Overall the price and the ambiance outweight the minor faults of the food. Most others I dined with enjoyed their meals.
Consistently delicious - have been here many times for dinner with kids, dinner just adults, functions, parties. Food is always on point. And service is always good. This one is a favorite for sure
What a wonderful meal ! I had friends from Canada dine last night Saturday 26th August 2017 and Gerald who comes from beef country in Alberta, and who knows steak well, declared it up there with the best high praise indeed.! Mains were served promptly and all were all excellent .There were 4 tables of 8 behind us and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. prices excellent ! views of Malabar inlet and beach stunning .Definitely go there again , Sandy Campbell

Love this Place!. I have been a returning customer for several years now and will be in the future as well. The Bay Window Bistro of the Randwick Golf Club is a place where one can enjoy good food and fantastic service with your family and friends. I have recently celebrated my birthday there with a group of 18 and all my guests had a wonderful time, food and all. Thank you, Maria, for making my birthday a success. My hat to the chef. Will be coming back for more of your beautiful meals.
Good find. Heard some local raving about this place when I was out to dinner one night at another restaurant, saying how nobody knew about it. Went tonight and was thoroughly impressed. Had delicious starter of tempura prawns - really fresh prawns, great batter, nice dipping sauce. Main had pork belly, crackling could have been better, but the meat itself and sides were delicious. Mrs had barramundi and was also very happy with it - nice fresh herbs, good use of chilli. Tough for places like this to show up every night, obviously it's local clientele keeping it alive. P.S. stunning views, friendly service and club prices on drinks!
Had a short snack at the bar.Ambience of the place was a bit dated but the place has a beautiful view of the ocean and relaxed atmosphere. Worth a try after a slog at the golf course.....
Views from this location are top notch. We enjoyed an afternoon here.Food was plentiful and the beers were cold and reasonably priced. Friendly Staff.Good service.
It's a nice place, along the coast, for playing golf. With a beautiful view to the ocean, refreshing breeze during summer time. Observing whales on their way to the South and then to the North.
Most of the time it's a good pace, good conditions and really a good value for money, taking into account they respect pensioners and giving the them the discount.
The only trouble was during lockdown, when it was too many playing golf and many for rather more than 18 tees. The life is coming back to normal.

Greens are in great condition. Short course with some stunning views. Full of friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere makes this an enjoyable place to play golf.
I enjoyed my experience here - food was affordable (ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was amazing, with a side of gravy and salad), and the service we got from the waitress and waiters was friendly and accomodating, bar staff not so much.
Love this little course, great views and is excellent to work on your short game. If you are lucky you might get to see some whales playing off the coast!
Covid changed & killed a lot of local businesses, just happy to know that The Bayside Window at the Randwick Gold Club has passed the hurdles.
