Good spot for lunch or a cheap dinner. Don't expect a haute cuisine experience but your money goes a long way at this unassuming Vietnamese spot.
Most main noodle dishes are around the $11-12 mark and they are excellent value for money. I had the Egg Noodle Soup with Grilled Pork which consisted of a generous serving of egg noodles, a decent sized grilled pork fillet, plenty of vegetables, and a tasty soup that's not too salty.
My colleague had a "dry" noodle option which he did not seem to enjoy too much. It is a traditional Vietnamese style dish but if you are not familiar with it it's worth noting that dry really means dry. The noodles are unflavoured and the toppings including meat are placed on top. There is no soup to go with it.
We also ordered some pork spring rolls (4 large pieces) and again they were very tasty.
Would happily come back again.
We had the pork prawn rice paper rolls, raw beef noodle pho and the grilled pork chop rice. Both were good! I'd go back again to try other dishes. Friendly service and spacious restaurant.
I really enjoyed the beef brisket soup with hofun, it's rich and jam packed with flavour👍🏼 The beef is just falling a part in chunks. Broken rice here is good but I prefer my pork char grilled (not sure how they cook it). Durian shake is bomb.

Pho and Canh bun are the best in Perth and very friendly staff and very good service. Also try Bun cha Ha noi. I think it's the best one as well. I try so many times and I still in love with it.

If your after a sufficient and tasty meal this is your place to be. Service is very understanding and quick. If your a fine diner or don't like basic furniture this probably isn't the place for you.
Good. Good fresh. Decent value. Got take away asked for chopped chilli to take away. No drama. I ordered stir fry beef vercimelli $11. Was large and came with salad component in a bag. My fried ordered chicken salad... $20, which was small size. Large was $30 (wwwwhhhat!) small was massive. She was less impressed than me as there was a lot of chopped chilli on top and she does not have a high chill threshold.
Probably the top ten Vietnam restaurant in Perth. With a reasonable price the food is very lovely. Weather the quality of food or the portion of food is great. I've been here so many times and they never let me down.
This place is our regular. It's nearly always at least half full on any given night. The service is friendly enough and they never get our order wrong. It's very clean and has a nice atmosphere about it. Probably one of the best Vietnamese places we've been to in Perth. I love their consistency in delivering lovely flavours to our mouths time and time again. It's great value for money and would recommend to anyone.
Even though it has recently changed ownership, everything still seems perfect! Service is actually a little better to be honest 👍🏼
Great food at amazing prices. I am so used to paying ridiculous prices for food in Perth so this was a breath of fresh air. Tried the famous beef pho, stuffed chicken wings, and dry egg noodle with pork. All excellent!
Looking at others reviewer's comments on service, I think they are unfair. It's clearly a family run style place and very casual. The reason they can be so cheap is they don't have an army of wait staff!
We had a table of 8 people and the food came out at different times. This didn't bother us at all but it could be a problem for some.

Best Viet restaurant by far! Hubby and I have been going there since 2007 and we are still going at least twice a week. Try the seafood and crabmeat soup, it is to die for! Hubby always orders the raw beef hofan soup, which is also my 10 month old son's favorite.
A family favourite. We come here almost every Friday night and absolutely love it here. Delicious, AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food. Friendly staff and very quick service. The food is excellent value and always filling. It is impossible to leave still feeling hungry. Coming from a Vietnamese person, I highly recommend this joint to everyone!
Good experience. We went for lunch last week and it is fully packed, like 80 pax. So it takes some time for our meal to come but it is acceptable as the staffs are doing their best. Food is good and price is reasonable. Haven't have a thirsty feel after having the beef noodle soup, guess they put minimum msg in.
Not bad not bad at all. Went there tonight after work I work locally at a FMCG plant in the area and my work mate said I should come and try I had the crispy chicken and rice with pork spring rolls and was very impressed
Been here countless times. Food is nice and the restaurant is clean. However, I've noticed the serving size is getting smaller and smaller in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants.
Best Vietnamese place I have been to in Perth. We were searching for a good Asian restaurant and we have found this place.
We like the food here so much we visit with the whole family practically every week,very reasonable prices and nice staff - you just have to get to know them closer, they will always welcome you with the smile.
Myself I often ask for the cook and thank him for the dinner personally, the food is always so yummy here.
I love this place. This is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants and I always recommend it to people. The service is is really good and the food comes out really quickly. The place is always packed with Vietnamese people so you can guarantee that the food is not only good, but authentic.
By far the best place, reccommends to all my friends. I've only been to a few Pho restaurants, but I think this is by far the best place! My boyfriend and I were weekling, almost daily, customers lol, but we realised we were going to be poor at that rate, so we only go once in a while after a long day of work or uni.
I usually get (#28), I think it's the right number, Hofan Raw Beef with Tripe (it's spelt wrong in the menu 'stripe') but instead of Hofan noodles i get egg noodles; that's the best thing about this place, they are very flexible, I know it's tough to the chef's but I prefer the egg noodles because I can have more time enjoying the lovely soup the slaved over! Yum Yum :), I also get the Durian Milkshake which my boyfriend detests haha.
I also love how the place has a new face lift ;) looks more welcoming and modern now, will be coming daily again.
Fantastic experience.. I went here today for lunch after a friend of mine suggested it. I don't live close but I can't wait to return. I sat down in a busy restaurant which quickly filled up, I was lucky to miss the queue. Prompt service by a charming waitress. I ordered what had been recommended to me by my friend. I had Beef Ball Soup,Pho Bo Vien and an cold Ice Chendol, Che dau do banh lot.
The drink arrived and was delicious. It looked too pretty to drink.
The beef pho was so fantastic. I find it hard to describe. Full of flavour and tasty but when you add the chilli, bean sprouts, mint leaves and lemon juice, it lifts it to a higher level. It was such an experience. I slurped my way to the noodles and tackled them with gusto. I have decided I am a messy eater....my shirt bears witness to my enthusiasm. I can't wait to return and try other menu items but I feel I will gravitate to the Beef Pho.It is cheap, good quality, fresh food. This is a gem.

Returned for a second look at this hidden gem of the North. This time Mayhem and Tornado were less catastrophic (amazing what a difference a year can make), so was able to relax and enjoy the experience. I went straight for the Pho - lifeblood of Vietnam and opted for the beefball variety. There are many different options but I played the safe card and went with readily describable and identifiable meat. Pho is a Vietnamese soup based around a wonderfully crafted stock - most are lovingly tended to for many hours which results in a deliciously light but beautifully flavoured base. To this are added noodles, meat, and herbs. This is brought to the table steaming and delicious along with many other optional addons. Bunches of fresh mint, bean sprouts, lemon wedges and sliced chilli. You can use these to taste and it is recommended that you do as it will take something already amazing into the stratosphere. My family ordered some spring rolls and wontons, some fried rice and chicken. All of this was devoured and I was left to sample just a few scraps. Phu Vinh Noodle House is about as close to what I would expect in simple eateries in Vietnam. Cheap, very fresh, delicious food set amidst efficient staff and modest decor. It's not about being fancy. You don't go to this place to be fancy. You go to eat authentically and well. The fact that this establishment is always busy is testament to the success of the wonderful experience they provide.
Noodles galore.... This was so yum, not fancy, flashy or expensive. It was noodle soups or noodles or tasty little vietnamese morsels (like stuffed chicken wings...yum!)
Fast service and huge servings. Very fresh and tasty. They have about 80 odd choices on the menu so it took us all a while to work out what we wanted but once we were agreed we all chose different soups and noodles. We tried each others and they all were different and all VERY VERY tasty.
They have tissues on the tables for the runny eyes and noses from the chilli (if you asked for hot hot hot) and they have sauces and condiments galore!
It was BYO so we all took our fave drinks and got stuck in, very fast meal. Bit noisy in there as its only a little place but turns out we werent there long enough to even catch up about our weekend so it was ok!

Great place for a a good meal. We come here regularly for their good food & decent servings. Service is usually very prompt even during peak times. My favs are the Dry noodles with crispy fried chicken and also the broken rice with pork chop. The pho is pretty good too! A meal for 2 usually costs us $20 with complimentary tea.
Recommended. This is one of my favourite viet restaurants to go to. This is mainly because it's close by, delicious and affordable. I always get the noodle bowls. Very nice and filling! All for $10-15 a bowl. There are many dessert drinks that are also worth trying. And there is also complementary tea. Service is fast even though it's usually quite busy! 8/10
Impressed by the quality of the pho, and quite full (the serve was generous) we decided to pick up some take-away from the Best BBQ Seafood Restaurant, which looks to be run by some Hong Kong Chinese. This is a no-frills simple place with quick service and generous serving sizes. It is popular with the local Vietnamese population, and the tables in this little place filled up very quickly during the lunch period. My friend said she and her hubby often goes to Phu Vinh for the broken rice and grilled pork. For a small place, there were many dishes listed in the menu, and not just noodles. I'm sure that Phu Vinh does a good bowl of pho , but Vietnamese cuisine is so much more than the internationally ubiquitous beef noodles. Food is between average and good. It is definitely good price for how much they charge. Place is clean, newly furnished and air conditined. They also have a cafe section for those who only want hot drinks or snacks. So I will give it 4.5.
Fairly good food, good services, a fairly spacious and clean environment. The price is good, the helpings are generous.
My wife and I went there for dinner and we ordered Chicken Cashew and Fried Long Beans with Minced Meat.

Always order menu number 115 and it comes out fresh and in a timely manner. Language barrier can be a little difficult to understand. Enjoy coming here most times. Menu is priced reasonably well and seating arrangement is well planned

Have been here few times, as always satisfied with the hospitality service, food serving is more than our stomach could fill in, my colleague said the same with the big serving, happy with the price with free-flow of green tea in pot. Definitely recommend anyone who reads this to have a go with the restaurant, and would not hesitate to go back, colleague said the same. One thing though, restaurant might need some "face-lift", may be re-paint, new seating, etc. so to add up bonus to your image, I think.
