Our company has been getting lunches from Curry Affair every Thursday for the past 8 years. The food is tasty and authentic. Sometimes there are variances on how spicy the dishes are but all in all, we have never been disappointed. Delicious.
Finally tried this place after numerous recommendations. Was not disappointed! Servings was plenty and pricing was very reasonable. Food tasted great and will definitely be back!
Curry Affair has been serving up authentic Indian food for nearly 30 years. The restaurant pride themselves in using their own combination of fresh spices 🌶, no commercial curry powders or sauces are used, to deliver the unique flavour of each curry.
We've been customers there for a few years now and even though customer service can often leave a lot to be desired, the food has been consistently great everytime. My absolute favourite dish here is Oxtail curry 🐃🍛, marinated in the perfect mix of spices and cooked to perfection, them chunky meaty slippery pieces of oxtail are just the best thing to eat in any kind of weather.

WORST CURRY PUFFS EVER! I cannot believe the amount of effort put into these stale curry puffs, the naan bread was no better! Me and my Dad Chirag would rather drink from the rivers of Mumbai!
love this place!! best curry ive had in Perth for agesvand I keep coming back for the beef madras. decor and ambience is lacking but who cares for a $14.50 curry deal (2 meat 2 veg and a good serving of rice).
Our local Indian restaurant which my family loves! Good portion sizes and the naan bread is amazing. Huge options available for currys and also a few good vegetarian options!
Best authentic Indian food I've tasted locally!! If you haven't been here you might want to make some time. There dosai is the best in perth!!!
The best curry in Perth. I regularly visit the curry affair. The food is amazing! Authentic and delicious. I highly recommend it. When I visit I usually get a few extra curries to keep in the freezer for when I can't be bothered cooking. 👍🏻
Let's make one brief. Came here for the $12.50 lunch combo with either rice or bread, 2 meat dishes, and 2 vegeterian dishes.
Food was generally pretty tasty. Good value for money for $12.50.
The lamb korma looked a little old and some of the vegeterian dishes can be very oily.
Overall fairly pleased and would come back every now and then for lunch.
Been to the place twice.Staff very helpful and the place is
neat n clean.Food was excellent and very reasonable.
Had masala dosai and ox tail curry both very tasty n spicy.
We were there first time Saturday n went back again Sunday. We live in north Perth n will go again.
Authentic curries and great bang for your buck! We love going to curry affair, there is so much to choose from and everything is super tasty (some curries are quite spicy so make sure you specify if you prefer mild). If you want a quick and easy meal and don't want to spend money on restaurant service definitely give this place a try!
Best masala dosa in Perth in my opinion, tasty and fresh and large serve, will def be going back. Not sure about the curries, will try next time.
Spot On. I am a curry lover - and this is my favourite. I'll eat whenever I can! The meat samosas are spicy, tasty, and excellent value at 3 for $5. The naan is fresh made to order, and is of a generous size too. All curries are good however the chicken masala is especially tasty. As are the chicken tikka pieces, which are also a good option for a filling quick lunch. Another highlight is the range of condiments and chutneys available, which you can add yourself to make the food as tasty as you want it. My only issue is the $20 minimum for EFTPOS - make sure you bring cash if you're just after a small meal.
Great food. Enjoyed more that once!
Great Anglo Indian food at an awesomely cheap price! Appears like a take away shop...but you can dine in as well! Extra spicy chutneys come free with meals. Combo meals are good. For entree, Phil's chicken tikka & tandoori chicken is the best! Kathi kebabs are good too. Can't stop over eating every time I am here! Worth giving a try for newbies!
About time.... We have been on our curry quest of Perth for almost 6 years. Seen bad houses come and go or change name or move suburb. A lot of Indian food in Perth is shocking....too much cream, fat and tough meat.
I would ask everyone that eats Indian to try this outstanding place. Not cheap and out of the way but make the trip for authentic curry. No pastes, no cream and good honest servings for two people.
Please stay in business.
We make the run every few weeks and freeze the extra ones....
Just hit the spot for my indian crave!
An Affair to Remember. Normally get take away from here as the place is quite small for sit-ins, but each time have been blown away by the awesome flavours. The naan breads are delicious and just melts in your mouth.
The food here is authentic Anglo Indian food. It appears that the place is mostly staffed by family and they are polite and attentive. I eat here regularly with family and friends and rate it the best value for money Indian food in Perth.
In summary - Its not flash but geeze the food tastes good! The Khati rolls, Tandoori Basket and the Dosa's are great. Curry Affair's version of beef and vegetable Somosa's are a pleasant change from the norm and a must try.
Really love the curry here and always enjoy the keemah naan. Friendly service and sometimes on a busy night theres a line but thats just how good it is :D We live in Morley but this place is definitely worth a drive!!
Beautifull. Best curries I have ever had. But not just curries, Samosa's, Chicken Tikka and Tandori pieces, Khati rolls, dhal. Plus a wide range of chutney's and salads. Very traditional food. My Aunty is Indian and I have only ever eaten Khati rolls at her place.
The Chicken Tikka piece(not curry) is my favourite. With the coconut and chilli chutney.
Worth the trek!! We were recommended this place by an Indian friend who goes here at least once a week. All of the curries are delicious, but the standout for me by far is the goat curry. Meltingly tender & beautiful flavours. Get a thali plate to sample a few dishes.
Nice food. I have always had really nice curry's from here and the condiments are delish - I sometimes get take aways of them - really nice to use at home.
Delicious flavours!. This place is really popular with the locals. The volume of takeaways is very high in the evenings. We prefer to dine in and usually opt for the giant thali between 2 of us which is a meal with various meat, vege, naan, soft drink and a sweet sweet. The variety of dishes are delicious and along with the variety of condiments make for great choice. The giant thali priced at just over $20 is well priced for a moderate sized meal for 2.
