Review Kings Of Persia - Malaga

Food was unreal, loved every bit of the dining experience put on for us by a friend. Well done!

Tried this place last night for the first time. High quality food, well presented and the restaurant is beautiful. You could always do take away but I strongly recommend dinning in. Will definitely be back!

The food was okay. The minced lamb skewer was yummy. The salad was way over priced for 4 tablespoon worth. The stew dish wasn’t yummy. Only thing I would recommend from what we tried is the lamb minced skewer.

I do not recommend this restaurant the food quality has gone down and it doesn’t taste like Persian food at all. They gotta really long wait with food orders and no this organised. I had food here few times and all the times it was good. They use colouring food in their ice cream instead of Saffron. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I had a great experience eating here with such unique and cultural Persian cuisine. We had the kehab platter trying all meats (lamb/chicken/beef). The beef was my favourite, super tender meat with juicy flavours. Came with saffron rice and we ordered extra persian bread. We also got the faloodeh dessert. Super interesting. Not my cup of tea but great experience

Had an amazing lamb kebab. Was the most delicious kebab I've had in Perth. Nice and quiet. Fair pricing. Good staff. Pretty quick serving time. Generally loved it and would recommend. Will go back for more for sure.

The entire restaurant dining area is full of smoke from the charcoal cooking in the kitchen. The kebab was cooked nicely and was still moist but it lacked in flavor majorly. I was expecting an explosion of flavor instead it was quite bland. Portion size is huge enough to share. Would I return? No... sorry been there done that. Nothing special....

Out of most Persian restaurants in Australia, which I have experienced, King Of Persia has a very high quality and delicious foods perfectly in Persian style and the staff are very friendly. My only point is that to get inline with other high level restaurants it would be nice and very effective to have more Persian traditional view in the first place with better dinning sets. Thanks Mehdi for your services

Poor customer service Have you ever been to a restaurant and being charged 2$ for extra empty plate ??!!!??!!!????!!!! Well...king of persia did that to me tonight .(not to mention that I am their regular customer)

The foods are good but it is so disgusting first time I had my food there I found hair in the food. Second time I found a mosquito in the food

I recently went to Kings of Persia and I must say, the food is fantastic, especially the koobideh and olovieh salad. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend people to try this place!

We came first time to this place just because wanted to order some food to take home, some of the restaurants were closed for the lunch time, and we saw the new sign "king of Persia", and decided to try their food as we never had such experience before. The place was busy but we ordered few different dishes, we were with kids. And oh my god! The lamb kebabs, chicken and fish dishes were absolutely amazing! All my family members told me "now we know where we eat next time!" And my 10 year old son said "we just been in heaven!" Thank you for such delicious food, great friendly service! We definitely will come back soon! Highly recommended to everybody! With love, Russian family.

Extremely disappointed they sell rubbish quality food. We ordered "King's Special", unfortunately the chicken was raw and the weired thing was that the chicken has been marinated in yellow food colouring rather than saffron!!! 🤢 , We had to wash out hands x4 times to wash away the colour. The kebabs tasted super salty as if you were eating salt by itself. On the menu they said "fluffy rice with saffron" the reality was that the rice wasn't fluffy at all and there weren't any sign of saffron. Very disappointed I'm Persian and I well know how a real Persian food should taste like but unfortunately didn't expect they would turn good Iranian meals into a zero quality food. I would definitely don't recommend my family and friends or anyone to go to "Kings of Persia". Guys seriously it's time to put a good effort in providing good and high standard foods. What a shame.👎👎

Very good kebabs.
Tender chicken, tasty koobide.
Fluffy rice and fresh bread.
The service could be slow sometimes.
Would be back to try more.

This is the best Persian restaurant in Perth indeed. The food you will have there is almost the authentic food that Iranians would have in Iran. You have to try this restaurant.

Recently had holidays in Japan & Singapore, wherever had some fantastic meals but I have to say eating at King of Persia 2 weeks ago was one of the best Perth meals in the last 6 months. It was so delicious: highly recommend the lamb cutlets with saffron rice, the fried eggplant dish, their olives & their lamb stew cooked with kidney beans & lots of herbs. omg and their saffron ice cream & their frozen vermicelli dessert was delicious & so different. 9/10 & will go back in the next couple of weeks for sure.

The food here is very delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. Although, my only complaint is the service and the wait staff not being attentive. When you go up to pay or need something, it will be difficult to grab their attention.

Food here is very nice and tasty and they do not lack on quality. It is delicious. I enjoyed my meal and also the service was nice. Nice music and clean restaurant. The only thing is it is just a touch over priced. I will be back

I arrived for lunch late on a Saturday and the shop front with dark tinted windows makes it look like all businesses are closed but the flashing neon open sign was a relief. A large open restaurant I was greeted by the friendly wait staff and taken to a table.

Lots to choose from, I asked for recommendations and went with the suggested lamb skewer (koobideh), first item on the menu. Within a short space of time two fluffy Persian flatbreads were presented in a basket with two long slender pieces of lamb, salad and an oven baked tomato.

The lamb is succulent and flavoursome and doesn't disappoint, delicious to the very last bite. I decided to stick it in the flatbread with salad and eat. So yum. After scraping off the charred skin, the baked tomato presents a much needed boost of muted acidity and sweetness against the meaty lamb. Lovely dish, excellent value and filling.

I had to try dessert and got the deep fried Persian pastry soaked in syrup (zoolbia bamieh). On the sweet side, they look like mini churros, piping hot but tasty. I also got a jalebi on the side. Excellent experience to enjoy Persian cuisine in a casual relaxed area.

Delicious and large meals! Being brought up with this food and know how home cooked persian tastes like, this is very hearty food and fresh! Good prices compared to other persian restaurants.

For myself, I had the Zereshk Polo ($15) which is pan-fried chicken Maryland cooked in tomato paste, saffron, onion, olive oil and served with saffron rice and barberry. I loved the rich buttery flavour of saffron rice. With the barberry, it gave a hint of sweetness and added a touch of exotic flavour to the rice. The chicken Maryland was cooked perfectly to tender and juicy, making it a great accompaniment with the fluffy rice. Overall, a very scrumptious dish.

If you're a big fan of kebabs , stews, and middle eastern cuisines, then this Persian restaurant is a gem in your vicinity. They make great lamb and chicken skewer kebabs , nice stews served with rice. I have tried a few persian resturants around Perth , this is number one to me. Highly recommended.

Best Persian food in Perth, plain and simple... I never had a bad experience there, very consistent. The kebabs are cooked on coal, not gas. Say what you will, that does make a difference!

This restaurant is a hidden, underrated gem in Perth. The food here is absolutely divine. The 'Mumtaz' dish is a favourite of ours. Generous servings, kebabs spiced and cooked to perfection. Service is also very friendly and accommodating. Venue has beautiful calligraphic wall designs, and a nice vibe and atmosphere. We always leave very happy and satisfied. Highly recommend trying out this place, you won't be disappointed!!

Ordered the saffron chicken service was great, the chicken has an amazing charcoal flavour. Was ready when I arrived, and was still warm even though I was late. Thanks will come again.

I am Persian and this is the best Persian food I have had in Perth and in Australia.

We ordered the Kings Special and the Gheyme. These are two amazing dishes. They cook on charcoal and everything is fresh. The artwork in the restaurant is nice too.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere the only thing that would make this place better is a few more vegetarian options but other than that it's great

The best Persian restaurant in Perth. Charcoal kebabs are to die for. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. I think you can't get a better value for your money in terms of quality anywhere.

Good service, food came out very quickly even though the place was busy on a Friday night. Eggplant with bread sides was delicious, chicken kebab with saffron rice tasted great too. Beef and chicken kebab with saffron rice was not as good... beef was rather chewy/tough. All in all not too bad.
