Really liked it here. Denise McBean recommended the place and it was spot on. The staff was so nice, they hardly batted an eye when Denise knocked over a table and all the coffee went everywhere.

4 of us had lunch on Sunday at Cafe Maldon and what beautiful lunches. Well presented and very reasonable prices. It was busy which is a great sign, but nothing was any problem. The service was excellent, staff friendly, coffee and hot chocolate perfect. I have never been disappointed. Thankyou to you all at Cafe Maldon.

Four of us had lunch here. 2 had jacket potatoes, 1 had soup and I had a really good Reuben sandwich. All of us were very pleased and would definitely return.

The veggie burger was amazing!! Cappuccino was nice, but ice latte was disappointing, very strong.

Great cafe, as a group of 5 we all found something enjoyable for breakfast, it was well priced and no one had any complaints about their food! Would highly recommend and definitely will return if I am in the area again.

Small Café in Maldon with a cheap and cheerful distressed retro ambiance. Food was Ok, nothing extraordinary. Serves were plentiful and fresh and we enjoyed our meal with a good coffee. Prices weren't particularly cheap but we felt it was reasonable value in a busy and popular tourist area. I thought the male toilets were cool, the window looks out onto a brick wall only a few centimetres from the glass!! Staff were great, they served me with a smile, our food was prepared quickly (Café was nearly empty) and they checked after if everything was OK.
